I always came here as a teenager with my friends. On the secret menu we would always order deep-fried oreos. Returned on Sunday after 25 years. It didn't disappoint! I remember!

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner and dessert. The drink was amazingly good too. I'm a critic when it comes to restaurant food and service and neither disappointed me. The server, she deserves a kudos. View menu

I arrived at the Onion at 4:05 and mentioned that I had a party of 30 scheduled for 4:30. They accommodated us wonderfully, providing a fantastic private room, and the food was absolutely delicious. There was a small issue with the billing at the end, but the overall experience was so enjoyable and appreciated that I would definitely recommend them for any small party needs.

It was time to eat somewhere new in Spokane, Washington. One of my party mentioned The Onion. Roy thank you for being such a fantastic server. Appetizers The Colassal Onion were so good and enough for 3. The French onion soup is fantastic, more cheese than I could eat. They chose the Mac and the cheese he had carved. The dining area and the ambience are fabulous and I am not biased as HD owners. A great children hanging, even the bathroom was impeccable.

Service was good and food came out fast. That’s about all that was good. Food was under flavored to the point I thought I was back in England. Looked good, no flavor. Even my 9 year old said more salt was needed. The twins didn’t eat their food, lack of flavor. Who doesn’t finish Mac n cheese? My adult Mac n cheese had 2 blonde hairs in it. Gross. The onion bisque had large chunks of some meat. The breaded mozzarella sticks had no flavor and didn’t come out melting. Onion rings overpriced at $2 a piece with a grease taste. On April 22nd, I hosted my wedding reception in the banquet room, and I can't say enough about how fantastic everything was. Despite some minor kitchen setbacks—one of those nights where everything that could go wrong did—it was still a wonderful experience for my guests. Our small team worked incredibly hard, navigating around the kids in attendance, managing a simplified menu, and accommodating various dietary restrictions. I truly couldn't have asked for a better venue for my reception. The Onion has been a cherished place for my family for years, and we will continue to choose it for all our special occasions in the future.

Well the wait wasn't too bad to get in 40 mins then we ordered appetizers they were yummy... onion rings, tater tot something, mozzarella sticks, and the lobster crab lime dip spread with pita bread. (That was gross with the lime). All was good then had to wait 2 more hrs to get our main course. Family of 6 so it wasn't like a huge table. Small portion for huge price. Server was so busy that he gave us someone elses credit card. Billed us incorrectly. I ordered spicy chicken fettuccine and they forgot the chicken. Hamburger came out rather raw. $20 dollrs for a small bowl of mac n cheese. $20 for 3 street tacos. The sides are miniature. Over all a bad experience and wont be going back.

On February 24, 2017, I received a $40 gift card from them, and I was curious to see how it would go. The next day, February 25, we arrived at The Onion at 11:37 AM and were seated right away. We were given menus along with goldfish crackers and a kids' coloring menu, which was a nice touch. Our drinks were served within five minutes, and ten minutes later, the waiter kindly approached us to take our order, treating my kids with respect.
