"Beautiful location with an exceptional and unique view of Manhattan. Good food that is not excessively expensive for New York compared to other similar situations. Of course, for us Italians, a $220 dinner is quite different. Excellent service, I had mentioned that it was my partner's birthday and they reserved the best table for us and surprised us with a candle on the dessert. Staff gets a perfect 10!!! I recommend it for a romantic dinner with a view!"

The food was amazing, the hotel is beautiful, and the servers were extremely attentive to my table w/ multiple food allergies. Plus, validated parking! Wins all around.

I can't say enough good things about Jams! My friends and I crossed the bridge for the brunch and it was worth it! Eggs Benedict cooked for perfection, my friends enjoyed pancakes and other dishes. We loved everything! The atmosphere and views of the city were perfect! Above all, we felt very comfortable and welcomed there, hospitality in its finest. Thank you. Very recommended!!

The menu has changed since my last visit for dinner, but it was delicious. The pumpkin brioche was melt in your mouth fantastic, my scallops were perfect, and the brussel sprouts, and spinach sides were excellent. My husband loved his salmon, and my niece and nephew also enjoyed their entrees. We had to rush to the airport so unfortunately had to skip dessert, but we were stuffed! View menu

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
