"I visited the restaurant today, 11/08/15,(my father's birthday). it took all my inner strength to keep drinking back. my father died in juni of prostate cancer, who had spread over his bones and organ. before he went to the nursing home and could still walk, I asked him one day where he would like to go to lunch. he said I'd like to go to the diner in hull where I visited earlier. I said you were safe and he said yes. so we had our last breakfast together. I had my breakfast and noticed that the coffee saucers had the name saltwater dinner on them. at the end of my meal I asked the waitress if she sold the tassen to whom she replied, not in the rule (sensing my disappoint) she added but let me ask the manager. I couldn't have been happier. he gave me the cup! I managed to get a few words out of it, why it meant so much and thank the waitress and quiet left. my father (hio, quincy clamdigger) and I really appreciate it. many thanks from the bottom of my heart."

Great breakfast! Very good. Two eggs, houseries and toast $3,50.

Great experience, place was really busy but staff made it work even though they did not have enough people on the floor

the owner has to stop smoking while sitting on the bank, near the restaurants in front of the door! he must have something he can do to help the overloaded waitresses, instead of just micromanaging buffering on his chain smoke right in front. View menu

The waitstaff here is exceptional—always friendly and attentive. However, the owner can be a bit off-putting and tends to hover around. The food is good, though not outstanding, and the prices are reasonable. One downside is that it tends to be quite hot in the summer and chilly in the winter.

This diner serves classic diner fare in a cozy atmosphere. It’s not overly fancy, but the food is satisfying and hearty. I’ve enjoyed breakfast there on a few occasions. The hash browns are tasty, and the breakfast sausage stands out as being better than your average variety. The service is excellent, and my coffee was always refilled.

We had a fantastic brunch at Saltwater Diner. My spouse and I are on vacation from Houston, Texas, and this was our first stop. The place wasn't very crowded — there were only about eight people inside — and the service was quick, with the staff being incredibly friendly. Our food arrived fresh and hot, and the prices were quite reasonable! If we lived nearby, we would definitely come here frequently! View menu

This is a great spot to grab breakfast! I ordered the two-step boil, which came with two eggs cooked to order, two pieces of bacon, two sausage links, and two French toasts (or pancakes). My wife had the Maryland dish, featuring two eggs Benedict over a crab cake, served on pancakes with a side of potatoes. It was absolutely delicious! The service was friendly, and our server made sure to check on us during our meal. This place has a local diner vibe—while it may not be modern or trendy, it has just the right charm, with tasty food and wonderful people.

Delicious food and excellent service make this a fantastic place for breakfast. The meals are consistently good, served in generous portions, and the service is quick. Prices are reasonable, especially when many other places are becoming more expensive. The atmosphere is straightforward, with counter service, making it ideal for regulars who enjoy coming together for a meal and a chat. There's no rush to leave, which is much appreciated. On weekdays, it’s never too crowded, so we’re often comfortable enough to sit back and enjoy our third cup of coffee.

"I just had my wedding at LOCAL 02045. I cannot put enough emphasis on how perfect everything was. I 'm going to breakdown my whole experience below.Lisa Powers, who helped us iron out every single detail, was a joy to work with. She was communicative and direct throughout the whole planning process. The first time we met her she said, "this is not your traditional wedding venue. "If you are looking for an extravagant wedding at traditional venue, I would go elsewhere. We had 85 people and the room was the perfect size. The ceremony took place on the balcony which had AMAZING views. The balcony can only seat 40 people (the rest were standing), but our ceremony was less than 8 minutes, so that was actually ideal. After the ceremony my wife Rachael and I were escorted to a lounge area where we were able to have a couple minutes to ourselves. Within minutes, a server was at our side taking our drink orders and providing us with a spread of passed apps. These appetizers were delectable. We had shrimp cocktail, bacon wrapped scallops, mini steak and cheese eggrolls, and mini bruschetta bites. We felt truly catered for. After about 30-40 minutes, we were escorted back upstairs where we then had our first dance. Before dinner came out, we had ample time to mingle and greet all of our guests.By 6:45PM, dinner service was under way. The food was perfect. EVERY meal at EVERY table came out in a timely manner and it all came out HOT. We offered steak, fish, or chicken and we only heard positive things about all three. People were raving to us about the quality of their meals. After that, we were able to enjoy our night dancing and spending quality time with our family and friends. There is so much more I could say, but I don 't want this review to go on for too long. The atmosphere was perfect. The food was incredible. Every single person on their staff went absolutely above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. The LOCAL played a key role in making sure our night was special."
