"I tried the roast pork, and it was incredibly tender, moist, and so flavorful that I didn't even need the extra lime. The black beans were perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of liquid to soak into the rice without turning it into soup. The sweet plantains were delicious, teetering on the edge of caramelized mushiness while retaining that perfect bite, complete with crispy and chewy edges. My father ordered the fried pork chunks, which were a bit less flavorful but still expertly prepared with well-rendered pieces of melty fat combined with the tender meat. The entire place was spotlessly clean, and the service was exceptionally friendly. When I told the woman at the counter—who I believe was the owner—that it was the best Cuban food I've had in a decade, her face lit up with pride. I absolutely plan to return for breakfast (chicharrón breakfast? Yes, please!) and lunch (croquettes sandwich!)."

"An excellent ice cream place staffed by the owners who are honest, down to earth, folks. They are closed on Friday nights and Saturdays until sundown for religious reasons. It's really nice to see people who put their faith above their profits; it really shows you what kind of people they are. The ice cream is pricey, but the quality makes it worth it!"

"food quality is very good. no complain about quality and taste. However, if they read their menu and a choice on the basis of the labels tofu make sure they meet their vegan / vegetarian. my man and I thought if you labeled it tofu, it means vegainzed or vegetarianized. not true. my man ordered mapo tofu court and it had black in it. when she spoke to the manager to change the food, she gave, but she stressed that she was defensiw for me) we should let her know. while we explained the nature of having a tofu-labeled dish on the menu, it was very unacceptable. in any case, she switched off the courts and said we would not be calculated for the mapo tofu pansy. (who does that?)"

"The service was wonderful. My meal was out of this world. I had the prime rib dinner. It was absolutely amazing. Best I have ever had. The baked potato was oven cooked and not cooked in a microwave. It was also served with a tomato that was broiled with stuffing on top. My appetizer was the shrimp with blue cheese crumbles and a mild Buffalo sauce. Out of this world. Price was surprisingly inexpensive for such amazing food! Perfect all the way around. Wish there was a location back home in upstate New York!!"
