The food was excellent. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food justified it. I just wish the service could have been better. Also, I can't understand why they still don't accept credit cards. Overall, I would rate the food a 5 out of 5.

This is a fantastic seafood place in Astoria! It's a newer restaurant that's clean and has a lively atmosphere with great music and TVs. Make sure to try the crab and the Old Boil sauce. I had the crab sliders (they were pretty good!) and the Cajun fries. Overall, I’d rate the food a 5 out of 5!

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for dining out with friends or enjoying a meal with your partner. The host was incredibly welcoming, and the drinks were exceptional. I was really let down by this place. As a big fan of seafood boils, I was expecting much more. The potatoes were unappetizing and they only provided one piece of corn. The snow crabs were also lacking in quality. The sauce was decent, so if you're someone who enjoys drowning your food in it, you might have a better experience. Additionally, they only accept cash, which is a bit inconvenient.

The food and service were exceptional. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for our date night on Friday with my partner. I was so engrossed in my meal that the staff noticed my sleeves were falling down, and they kindly helped me pull them back up to keep them clean. It's the little things like that that create unforgettable moments. I will definitely be returning, especially now that The Boil has moved closer to me!

The Boil Astoria is not only a gorgeous atmosphere, but a remarkably exciting experience, as well. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, soft crab, u0026 oysters for starters. All fantastic. To drink, the Peach Lemonade is a must. The star of the show, however, was the full 1 1/2lb lobster. It was served steaming hot in a bag of garlic lemon goodness — accompanied by potatoes, corn, u0026 all the garlic you could imagine. Beautiful location. Comfortable for large parties. The bartender was very attentive. The food tasted good, but my company and I asked for our meal to be extra spicy/fire and it wasn't spicy at all. My shrimp were Not deveined ?. The bag of seafood was somewhat empty compared to other seafood restaurants. We ordered French fries, which were very tasty! We also ordered A delectable bootle of Chardonnay that paired very well with our meal. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I would also recommend the chef spice it up!! Shake it like a salt shaker!

Finally we tried it, and loved it ! The place is very clean, well organized (Sunday night holiday). First off the drink, they have a decent draft selections, had a few and was great. The appetizer, fried catfish and oysters were perfect. They give you lots of different sauces, even if just a splash of lemon/lime juice is the best. We got a combo crawfish/shrimp for the main, with enough warning we still choose the Fire Spicy level, and let me tell you it kick . It has gost pepper in it, been told afterward :D. I had the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered at this restaurant. I ran into an issue with their online ordering system, and my order was mistakenly sent to a location over an hour away from me. I called the restaurant just 10 seconds after placing the order, but the line was busy. After several attempts, I finally reached someone who informed me that they couldn’t issue a refund because the food was already prepared. I find it hard to believe that two crab boils and a shrimp basket could be made in under 10 minutes. I explained my situation in detail to the manager, but she still refused to refund my $160 order.
