"Perhaps it's just me, but I'm used to having my toppings baked onto the crust. Both pizzas had wet toppings on a pre-baked crust, so the box was dripping with juices upon delivery. When I opened the box, it was clear that these pizzas weren't in the oven long enough to bake properly. They were also lacking cheese. I have never had such a disappointing experience with pizzas before. I feel guilty leaving a review like this."

This is the only place in the area that offers beef pepperoni, and the price was reasonable. The pizza itself was excellent!

It’s alright. Place is cramped, old, dirty but I guess that’s NY for you. Food was ready quick. Definitely could use more cheese. View menu

I have had the best jerk chicken at Tony's on Utica Ave. I lived there for years and would often stop by on my way home from the train to grab a jerk chicken dinner. It is absolutely the best! View menu

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
