"The vegetable dish came with rice and was served in a shallow container, but it was only half filled, featuring a decent variety of vegetables like carrots, broccoli, thin mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and watercress. However, it simply wasn’t enough food. It didn’t feel like a lunch special portion, and I was so hungry that I finished it quickly without taking a picture, although I did take a photo of the empty containers for recycling. As for the dumplings, they were decent but only about 1.25 inches wide, and at four for $9, we were still left wanting. It felt frustrating that they couldn't fill the shallow container more generously, especially considering the cost of vegetables is minimal. I sincerely hope they improve portion sizes for future customers, but unfortunately, I won't be returning. On a positive note, the rice was well-prepared, fresh, and not sticky."

This is a fantastic Chinese restaurant for a quick lunch, with meals priced between $12 and $15 during the week.

Yummmm! The food was super tasty, and the service was even better! Definitely order the sautéed spinach and the steamed shrimp dumplings.

The Vegetarian General Tso'S Chicken was not vegetarian chicken as described, but just regular tofu. Not what I wanted or ordered. I'd like a refund. View menu

We picked this place when we were hungry and needed a quick lunch after visiting the American Museum of Natural History. A pleasant surprise! The food arrived quickly and the Shanghai thick noodles were so good.

The food and service was amazing. Very pleasant atmosphere and great drinks. Perfect for a family dinner, with delicious classic and authentic dishes. Pecking duck is a Must, as well as the short ribs, melt in your mouth! Can?t wait to try everything else.

This restaurant offers excellent Chinese cuisine in a peaceful location on the Upper West Side. It provides flexible seating options for customers, whether you want to catch a game on TV or enjoy a quiet, intimate setting for lunch or dinner. The food is outstanding as well. View menu

I was in search for dumplings and came here because of the reviews. The staff was very friendly and the shrimp dumpling were good. I?ll need to come back to try some of the others. I?ve lived in Asia so my expectations may be a bit higher than anothercustomer. I really enjoyed the restaurant though and will be back to try some other dishes. They have a very large selection. Also the egg drop soup with tomato is AMAZING!

Update It has been weeks and I never heard from anyone nor any VM left from the cashier An order of $15 ribs were delivered, received 5 tiny ultra dry, jerky like ribs (my hand to reference the size of the ribs) the worst part was how dry the ribs were, never had I ever had ribs like these. I was speechless? You can tell that they were nuked in the microwave for way too long andthey were completely dried out! I called the restaurant and a man on the phone just said ? Thank you for letting us know?repeatedly and that was it, and hang up on me because he was not interested in hearing my feedback. This is unfortunate and ifthey continue to conduct their business this way, they will not last. Espec...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
