"I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant. I called in my order 25 minutes in advance for a Special Uzbek pilov and two salads. I specifically requested no dressing on one salad and yogurt on the other. When I arrived, my order wasn’t ready, and the cashier actually skipped over me to take someone else’s order. After a confusing exchange, he finally took my order, and someone rushed to the back to prepare it. However, then the cashier started assembling the salads and ended up dumping yogurt on both of them despite me clearly stating my dressing preferences. I won't even comment on the meal itself. Proceed at your own risk if you decide to visit."

I used to be a loyal customer at this restaurant, but lately it has really gone downhill. I won't be returning.

Pilov was the perfect dish for a chilly winter day. The Manti was delicious and the samosas had a bit more spice than what I prefer, but they would likely please most people.

We ate there today with my friends from Philadelphia. We had plow, samsas, lamb chops and salad. Food was delicious and fresh! Can't believe it's so much negative comments about that place! I loved it and will definitely go back! View menu

The restaurant offers a remarkable dining experience. It is a family-owned establishment with delicious food. I have been stopping there for lunch twice a week recently. The pilaf, samsa, and lamb dishes that I have tried there so far have all been amazing.

I would give this restaurant 1 star for poor customer service and lack of human interaction (especially for someone from Uzbekistan). The unfriendly demeanor of the staff may make you want to call for help or just leave. There is a concerning lack of Covid precautions, with no employees wearing masks (a health department inspection is necessary). Despite this, I would give 3 stars for their tasty Plov and decent Samsa. I recommend trying these dishes if you can overlook the lack of social skills of the staff.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
