"I visit this restaurant on days when I'm trying to save money. I always stick to their Chicken Noodle Soup, which is a delicious blend of chicken served in a Vietnamese-style broth with thick rice noodles. Since it can get quite chilly in San Francisco, it's the perfect spot for a comforting warm meal. However, I'm not a fan of the neighborhood; I prefer the Geary location instead. If you enjoy eating chicken organs, you can add them for about $1 more, but I'm not a fan of intestines or those types of dishes. Unlike typical Pho places, this restaurant doesn't provide bean sprouts or basil as sides."

Given that this is America, the chicken noodle soup here is quite impressive. I really enjoy it!

The exterior may not be impressive, but the Pho here is fantastic. I recommend keeping it simple with just the rare beef and noodle soup. It's affordable and delicious! View menu

This is a great restaurant in the Tenderloin area, especially if you enjoy soup. The chicken soup is always delicious and never gets boring. The service was quick, and the prices are very reasonable.

Phở Tai Chin offers an incredibly authentic North Vietnamese-style pho, unlike what some might mistakenly assert. The wide, slippery rice noodles combined with the perfectly clear broth always satisfy!

Absolutely delicious! I’ve lived just around the corner from this place for years and only just tried it now. The broth is outstanding, and the portion sizes are enormous. It’s a great value for the price! View menu

This is a fantastic spot to experience northern-style Phở, which is quite unique in San Francisco. I really enjoyed the Phở Bò Ðặc Biệt (a combination of rare beef, tripe, and well-done beef in noodle soup). The broth was crystal clear, and even with the tender, rare beef and crunchy tripe, there was no overpowering odor, which speaks to its freshness.

The chicken pho here is consistently delicious. I typically order the #10 pho with chicken giblets or pho ga long (which includes liver and gizzards), although that might not be for everyone. The broth and noodles are always satisfying, especially when paired with the giblets. The Vietnamese coffee is also excellent. I often bring my visiting friends and family to this place.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
