"I had been here years ago, and was pretty thoroughly unimpressed with it. I think I got a teriyaki bento box of some sort at lunch. Regardless, it was enough that I didn't feel the need to revisit it. Fast-forward several years, some friends invited us and I was very pleasantly surprised. We got the boat to split between my wife and it was far better than the large sushi platters you get at the other Japanese restaurants in town. It was mostly large cuts of Nigiri and Sashimi and was very good. Also had a very tasty bottle of cold sake. All told it was good and I'll be going back."

The baby tako salad never disappoints. The fish on top of my spicy rainbow maki. I'm not saying paper thin but it was a good 1/4 inch thick. It was still tasty.

Mediocre. Ordered a what I thought was a roll and some nigiri. The roll was barely rolled and fell apart when picked up. And I don’t know what they think nigiri is but it’s not what that was.

Had a lunch after a long time absence. Very familiar Downtown lunch vibe for this place on the Market! Decent food generous portions. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Wasabi stays on our list of long time favs…

I love this place! They not only have great food but also great service. If you like sushi at all, you'll definitely want to check this place out. The love potatoes and volcano roll are my favorite things here! Parking: We parked in the Elm parking garage, which was free, and walked over to Wasabi's. It was maybe a 5 minute walk, possibly less.
