Favourite place in all of Long Beach for breakfast/brunch. Their weekend only galette is incredible. You can?t go wrong with anything you order really. Delicious (and pretty! cappuccinos too!

This is the greatest breakfast spot. The ingredients used are incredibly fresh and tasty, sourced from local farmers. The egg grain bowl was fulfilling and nutritious, leaving me feeling satisfied. And the baked lemon ricotta cake was absolutely amazing. View menu

Went to WEOP after brunch today and was great! Got a dark chocolate oat milk latte and my friend got the matcha latte and a fig pastry. The pastry was flaky and delicious, and both drinks were delicious. Staff was super friendly! Sat outside and was able to enjoy Sunday morning.

I can't believe I've never given this place an assessment. Literally one of the best spots ever. I've been since the day they opened and my family loves this place. We always get the Rosemary Latte made with the house oat milk. If you read your time reviews to see if this place is good, stop. Go there now and see how great this place is. One of our favorite spots in Long Beach.

I can see why this restaurant has such a good reputation. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The kitchen staff clearly know what they're doing! The owner takes pride in sourcing ingredients locally and avoiding generic suppliers like Sysco, resulting in a noticeable difference in taste. From the Frittata to the Chia Pudding to the Toast, each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The staff seemed passionate and dedicated, making this restaurant a standout in the neighborhood. They also offer top-notch craft coffee. I wish Wide Eyes Open was a daily fixture in my neighborhood, but sadly, I am always on the move.

I enjoy the coffee at this restaurant, but they seem to be unsure about what items are actually vegan. There was a cookie labeled as vegan that surprisingly contained honey in the product name. When I asked the barista for something vegan, they recommended the cookie to me. It wasn't until later when I read the sign more closely that I realized it wasn't truly vegan. I tried reaching out to them, but didn't receive a response. The other vegan bakery option nearby is not worth it. For better vegan options, I recommend going to Salud or Alder Sage across the street.

I love this place so much. It's adorable with a unique selection of rotating wines and grab and go foods. The patio is perfect for brunch or to do some work. The service and vibes are incredible, everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. The chef makes so many great pastries and balanced dishes, with local finds. My personal favorite being the egg biscuit with a side salad. I always get a cold brew with the house made nut milk, which I find to have the perfect balance of nuttiness. I couldn't choose a favorite pastry but the lime bar is close to the top... or maybe the coffee cheesecake. You won't be disappointed! View menu
