"This is our favorite place for Mexican cuisine. The food is excellent, and the restaurant is always clean. We visited on a Saturday and enjoyed some live acoustic guitar music that wasn’t overpowering. I was also impressed by how well the staff sang "Happy Birthday"—a band came out with a violin and guitar to serenade some of the birthday tables. My kids love the games they have available, like tic-tac-toe, Connect 4, and cornhole, and we never have to wait for a table. My husband ordered the steak fajitas, which were mostly meat, unlike some places that load them up with peppers and onions. We always have a great time dining here."

"The service here is second to none, and the food is absolutely amazing. It somehow came up that my partner and I were there for our Anniversary dinner. The chef sent us out an amuse-bouge, and it was to die for even though I (nor my partner are typically a fan of oysters. They have a wonderful selection of wine. I forget which one we chose but it was a Chardonnay with these wonderful citrus notes. The atmosphere was quiet. Although I think the fact that it was a Monday evening had something to do with it, I don’t see it getting much louder than a murmur even on a busy night. I ordered the shrimp and crab scampi and my partner ordered a filet mignon. The scampi was perfect and the filet mignon was one of the best I’ve ever tasted (it looked so good I couldn’t help but steal a bite ???? . After dinner, we declined dessert. We were going to check out the little coffee place just to get a cookie but they brought us out a dessert anyway that was so thoughtfully prepared and beautifully done I probably would have cried if I wasn’t in such utter amazement. To sum it up, I whole heartedly recommend this place, and am definitely looking forward to coming back here the next time there’s something to celebrate. They are my new all time favorite sit down restaurant."

"The food at this restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced, and the staff are very friendly. The environment is very comfortable, although it can be a bit difficult to get the attention of the bartender at times. This restaurant is suitable for families with children. Overall, I would give the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 5."

"We got there and a guy (Hispanic) and girl (african american) were standing there. The guy looked at us and I said hello seating for 2 he looks at girl and walks away. Girl grabs 2 menus lead us to table and leaves no hi, how u doing? nothing. Next our waitress comes tall (latino) girl takes out order. No greeting like hello my name is so and so. Nothing. When I would say thank you no your welcome. Again nothing. There was a lady standing at back against the wall by entry to kitchen and I asked her for bbq sauce she proceeded to walk toward kitchen and tell I'm assuming our waitress loudly they want BBQ sauce and then walked back to the wall she was holding up doing nothing. One guy(white) did pass by and ask us how we were doing. The food is good especially their steak sandwich but the service sucks!. It's like they hate they job and act like your bothering them just being there. They are very rude and no personality. I'm not expecting a song and dance but some form of customer service is appreciated. I really felt like not tipping but still tipped 11 dollars on a 55 dollar bill. By the way it was not busy there was only one other couple eating in restaraunt and the only reason I'm indicating their ethnicity is because I've don't have their names and if management reads this maybe they will know who I'm taking about. This backend on Sunday around 4:15p.m."

"I was passing by and decided to give this restaurant a try. I didn't have high expectations since small restaurants can be hit or miss, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a burger with freshly cut toppings and it was delicious. I also tried a piece of homemade cake with ice cream, which was also very satisfying. Despite living an hour away, I can see myself making the trip back here just to eat at this restaurant again."

"This has one of the shortest lines to dine at in Cache Creek. There is a menu board that changes every few seconds. The items range from Chinese, Filipino, Japanese and Vietnamese cuisines. Line up and place your order at the register. Typically only one staff at the register making the line go by slowly. Find a table and your food will be delivered to you. There is a self serve soda area, behind the register. The food comes out fast and hot. I got the udon, it's a good serving with a lot of ingredients (udon, chicken, fish ball, shrimp, bok choy, mushrooms). But it is bland, there is no flavor. You can add sriracha and chili oil but that only adds spice. It's missing the salt and umami flavors. What it does do fuel you up after the drive and get you ready to play for a couple of hours."

"I usually like this place because I don't get much hassle but just a long line sometimes. However the night I went, this place was undergoing repair and was operating out of the loco Express area. Always seem to have problems with the local Express cashiers and tonight was no different even though it was closed as local Express and operating as the deli. The nitwit cashier kept pausing and asking me the same thing over and over like do you want to drink and I did not ask him for a drink and I didnt want to keep repeating myself and we both just wined up staring at each other for a few seconds when I was about to request my money back and he finally gave me my receipt but about this time he has ruined the whole experience for me and my mood has changed. So after getting all orders I began to eat the garlic fries which I paid extra for and they were horrible. Taste like frozen fries baked in the oven then fried in cold Grease, yuck ! Didn't taste like french fries at all and my guest agreed. Usually they would rate about a 3 but tonight they super sucked."
