"I would recommend giving this restaurant a try. They offer a good selection of tequila and host some exciting events as seen on their menus. The chips were average, but the side of hot sauce provided was really spicy and delicious, definitely the highlight of the meal. The jalapeño margarita was also quite tasty. I ordered the chimichanga, which was decent overall. However, I would not recommend the Margarita flight for two reasons. Firstly, it was weak and overly sweet. Secondly, the server unexpectedly upgraded it to Casamigos tequila, which I found to be quite rude as we had not requested it. The service was a letdown, as our waiter was inattentive and failed to provide a satisfactory experience. It seemed like everything was an inconvenience for him, and the additional charge for the upgraded tequila felt intentional. Although I suggest giving this place a try, personally I am unlikely to return due to the high prices and lack of value. Overall, I would rate Viva Margarita a 2.7 out of 5."

"This place has the best caldo de res that you could ever find anywhere. Caldo de res is soup that works for both lunch and breakfast. Its delicious. The attendant was super nice. Their tres leches and sopa de tortilla were on par. Also it seemed fairly a good price. I bought two soups, two horchatas, and one tres leches and it was all around 37$. "This place has good drinks and pleasant, attentive, and informative servers. It's clean, appealing, and kind of generically upscale looking. The food is high quality and prepared with care. The ribs we ordered were cooked until the meat was falling off the bone. It was also bland. This is Mexican food for white people. And, to be clear, I'm white as they come. I mean no insult to any particular white person and am invoking a stereotype for effect. And man, does it ever apply. The only food they served that I wholeheartedly liked was the bean dip. The rest was definitely not bad, but also not interesting or particularly flavorful."

"My daughter and I had dinner here this evening. We were warmly welcomed at the door and seated right away. While we were being seated, a young lady took our drink orders and provided us with menus. I had a few questions about the menu items, and she kindly answered them. We placed our orders, were served promptly, and thoroughly enjoyed a delicious meal. "The overall experience was great. We got seated fast. The food came out fast. I personally loved the mexican rice, the refried beans, and my steak burritos. The steak inside tasted great and had a grill taste. The queso was a bit watery, but wasn't terrible. We also tried the margarita flights. 4 kinds of margaritas. The blue one was the worst and the mango one was good. Also the green tomatillo sauce in my burrito was good also had a sweetness that I liked. The worst part was the bill. The margarita flight seemed pricey, but it was huge. I guess I was expecting the bill to be less then it was. Other than that Ihad no complaints. My friend on the other hand wasn't as enthused with the food as I was and didn't like the queso and the salsa was a bit to marinara sauce like for him. Also i guess didn't enjoy his food as much and got a pretty big bill, which probably didn't help his love for the place. It was around 70 bucks for two of us with both getting margarita flights and queso and a meal each."

"This was my first time going and it was absolutely amazing! I’m Mexican and grew up eating authentic Mexican food so my standards when going out to eat Mexican is pretty high. I’ve never met my expectations in any of the Mexican restaurants in Seaport, but to my avail this restaurant was more than I had expected! "I needed a quick dinner to take to a class. The gentleman at the counter explained which items could be ready within a couple minutes and which would take up to 10 minutes. I chose the ground beef burrito, and he had it made to order in under 3 minutes. Additionally, he offered to put all ingredients inside the tortilla and repave a cheese sauce with shredded cheese, to make it easier to carry and eat at my class. I requested spicy, and he obliged with extra homemade pico de Gallo that was delish! The burrito was very good and too big for a single meal! My only preference next time would be less rice, and more beans, but that is personal taste and considering the gracious service I received, I think they would happily fulfill the request next time. And yes, there will be a next time! Too many options and too good service not to return!"

"I figured I would give this place a try since my normal burrito spot is closed on Mondays. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, carnitas burrito and chip/guac. The dough they used for the chicken quesadilla was thick and tasted a bit undercooked (picture). It didn't really look like a quesadilla, it looked more like a bigger version of a soft shell taco. Chips were good but the guac tasted bland. I felt like it needed more lime juice or salt. The burrito was overall bland and I had to use the green sauce they gave me. Overall I don't recommend this place."

"*edit* This place is now permanently closed and they loved lcoarions to Gahanna. I understand why they did but this was such a good hidden gem in the northeast Columbus area and I'm sad it's out in the burbs now. *end edit* This place is actually pretty decent. The inside if the building is beautifully decorated and the people we dealt with were nice. We ordered an appetizer along with 2 entrees and there was no chance of us actually finishing it. The portions are massive. The waitress was on point keeping our drinks refilled and the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Our entire visit there was about an hour. The food was good. It didn't taste too salty like you'd like get from a fast food chain. The portions were big and everything was fairly simple. We got easily 4 meals worth of food for $30 and they give you complimentary chips and salsa along with a bean dip. There are also 3 hot sauces at every table in case you need a little more zing. It's not the most gourmet food you'll ever eat, but it's definitely worth what you'll pay for it. Everything seemed clean and the atmosphere was fun but not ridiculous. I'll definitely be coming back here. I would recommend it for just about anyone, but I would also tell them to keep their expectations in check. It's not On The Border or some super fancy Mexican place. It's a bar and grill with reasonably priced food that doesn't taste bad. Plan accordingly."

"This situation has changed a lot this summer, from name to property to decor, but one thing remains certain: the food is fantastic. Benji has done a nice job to describe the room; the colors and decor are vibrant and bright, and the room is clean, inviting more to dinate instead of taking. The food is delicious, and the menu has a variety of authentic Mexican dishes. If the waiter asks if you want to start with chips and guac, say yes. The chips are warm, perfectly salted and crispy and the guacamole is delightful. You will be an avocado mix (not sharp at all) and a decent hot salsa, so make sure you want Spicier salsa; they have it, but they don't get it first. Tacos were delicious and filling; I got Al Pastor and Carnitas, both wonderful. My guest got the chorizo Torta he loved. We didn't have room for dessert, but I'm looking forward to getting the flan and churros next time. If you have been to this place for Mexican food in the past, make sure to Benjis they get a phenomenal job done and you will not be disappointed. The staff is as friendly as ever. And if you weren't before, give it anyway! This is not a place to miss."

"The noise level was unbearable; I struggled to hear my friends at the same table. The service was poor, and the food was quite average. I don’t think the waitress could even hear my order correctly, as I ended up with the wrong dish, which I reluctantly kept after such a long wait. I won't be returning. "First off I just want to apologize for not taking a picture of the food. We ordered from Doordash and when it got here it looked so good I was too excited to start eating. I'm a very picky customer when it comes to tacos, especially Al Pastor. I NEVER get tacos unless they're off the cart on Roosevelt Ave in Queens. These were the closest thing to that experience both looks and flavor-wise. The tacos were filled perfectly and had everything I'm used to on top and on the side, a lime and a couple of slices of radish. It was like home to me. The carne asada Nachos were delicious and we finished every single bite. The churros were perfect as well, crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Perfect way to end a weekend. I'll definitely be back for more!!!"
