"We were greeted by a very friendly host. Our server Bernadette was very friendly and attentive. My husband and I ordered the filet mignon. His medium, mine medium well . It was cooked correctly. The shrimp cocktail I would not recommend. Bland and tasteless. The only downside is they nickel and dime you for everything. No bread basket. You can buy one. Steak sauce, horseradish sauce, even a small thing of butter,ECT, $5 each. I have never been to a steak or seafood house ever that does this so the bill is higher than what it should be. All in all, very decent. Just would go to other steak houses that don't charge you for items that should come with it."

This place is amazing. The staff is above reproach. The stake I had was the best ever. I've never been to a speakeasy, but I imagine Cleaver to be one without the party atmosphere. I can't wait to visit again.Food: 5/5

The steak here is excellent and reasonably priced during happy hour. Each item has its own price, but the sauce for the steak comes in about a 2oz portion, which is plenty to share. The mac and cheese side is around 12oz, making it large enough to share as well. Overall, I’d rate the food a 4 out of 5.

The bar menu is fantastic, featuring drinks categorized by their era of availability (such as pre-prohibition). The selection of dishes is excellent, but not overwhelming, making it easy to choose. However, parking can be a challenge due to the high concentration of businesses in the area, leaving few nearby spots available. View menu

Phenomenally interesting cocktail menu of cocktails through the ages. Ordered filet med rare (was medium, lukewarm with lukewarm peppercorn brandy sauce mininal flavor) loaded baked potato (odd 'roux-based ' cheese sauce), wedge salad (good), bread (unsalted butter), shrimp cocktail (good), bourbon potatos were very good. Not overly impressed.

It was very overpriced and mediocre. We let the server know we had pepper ? allergies, and that was a fail.Literally have to pay for everything, including the sauce, you want butter.. CHARGE!! You want a side to go with your steak.. CHARGE!! The couple next to us ordered a steak.. a small steak on a big white plate, and she even said.. $60 something for this

Wow this was good. The steak was good but not mind blowing. Don't get me wrong, it was really good. We got the NY strip. BUT everything else was amazing! The Mac and cheese was spectacular, best ever! The fries were really really good. The baked potato was fantastic! The asparagus was good, and fun, but not that different. The mushrooms were good to some, avg to others. We will be back for sure! View menu

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, and I had a fantastic experience. Our waiter was very attentive and took the time to explain the menu since it was our first visit. I started with calamari, and for my main course, I had the cherry lamb chops, which were absolutely delicious. I also tried the "ready fire aim," and it was outstanding as well. It's a great place overall! Can I give them an extra star?!

Outstanding experience at Cleaver this evening. The service was as good as it gets and the food was exceptional. We had 3 starters, and two mains with 4 sides between the three of us. We shared two sweets. The carpaccio was incredible, the steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The passion fruit tart and sticky toffee pudding we really didn't need to eat but it was fantastic!Thank you to the waiting staff and chefs. We'll definitely come again!

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
