"I have passed by this place for years, but I never find myself near it when I needed to eat breakfast. Today I went a little out of my way to circle back here and I would like to say that it was worth the trip. They offer a nice variety of breakfast items including GRITS and Sausage Gravy. Everything was plated in a nice fashion and flavorful. I will go here again and I recommend that you stop passing this place. Ask for a window seat so that you can see the view of Tip-Top Falls. A hidden jewel next to a hidden jewel."

"You are greeted with a smile. The establishment is clean, especially the bathrooms. The service is always excellent and the servers are friendly and efficient. The food is served promptly and hot. You rarely have to ask for a refill on your coffee. I do wish they served a better brand or variety of hot teas though. Now the food, no matter what I order I am confident it will be good. Their omelettes are tasty and made with 4 eggs. I especially like the veggie one. The vegetables are fresh and crunchy. The waffles are light, fluffy, and tasty. Their fruit toppings are glazed, so I do not order...just my personal preference. Nothing is over seasoned and they are conservative on the salt, which is good since you can always add it to taste. Unfortunately, they cut back on the variety of breads offered with your breakfast; now serving only white, wheat, and rye. I hope they bring some back soon, especially the sourdough or at least the bagel option. Like most restaurants, prices have increased; however, they are still reasonable compared to other similar breakfast/lunch establishments. In summary, you will get a good breakfast served with a smile, in a clean environment and without breaking the bank. So go and enjoy dining out with your family! *Remember to extra-tip your servers during these rough economic times."

"Favorite breakfast spot. I live in Cleveland Heights but my family is from Hudson. My husband and I practically make up excuses so that we can stay the night at my parent's or my in-law's so that we can go to The Blue Door Cafe. Some people have written of the crowdedness which I have not experienced because I go on Sunday mornings generally at like 8am. We even get up early so that we can go before we drive back home for church. The croissants are CRAZY good. We had a scone last time and it was VERY sweet and very delicious. I like their hot chocolate and I like that their stuff is grass fed/local/free range. I guess ? it is pricey, but when you are serving sustainable food it is bound to be. It is more expensive than somewhere like Perkins but it is also exponentially better so I would expect it to be.Definitely go!"

"Today is my grandmother's birthday and she told me she'd go to breakfast with the girls. I called and asked if I could get her a dessert and pay for it. The lady on the phone wanted to let me go and then come to pay for it. I explained to her that I lived in Washington, D.C., one was unable to get there. I told her it was totally okay and that I was on the phone with her and wanted to surprise her, but I totally understand. Less than an hour later, I'll check my phone and see that one of their friends sent me a video. These amazing people in Farmer Boy sang happy birthday and brought her a piece of cheesecake on her, but almost mentioned it from her granddaughter in D.C. This was the motivation I needed to come through my working day. It is nice to know that there are still incredible people in my hometown! I can't wait to check this place for the next time."

"3rd? time here, really enjoy it. Wish it was closer. They were quite busy but we did not have to wait long to get a table. Service was good, the food is always yummy, and the portions are generous. Great variety on the menu, my husband got the omelette with everything and I got the special cinnamon chip pancakes. Food came pretty quickly it was hot it was prepared as we ordered it our server checked up on us periodically. They also leave you your own little pot of coffee which my husband loves. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch"
