"Went to the Italian Farmhouse on a Thursday evening, about 6PM Was seated promptly. Table had a few crumbs from previous diners meal, and a straw wrapper behind the salt pepper shakers. The menu is short and simple. Prices are little high and in dollar amounts like an upscale bistro. We asked if we could split a entre' and the waitress said yes, was annoyed by the question. We ordered the Lasagna and a extra side salad. They indicated they served bread sticks, but none ever came. The salad was 95% lettuce, two onion rings two slices tomato, very small, 7 small pieces of black olives, and a slice of peppercorn. When the Lasagna arrived it was awash in runny tomato sauce, canned, tons of pasta, not meat in sight or in the layers of pasta. No cheese to be found. Sad indeed. Our check was $25 and we had water to drink. Finally 2 bread sticks showed up, warm but not fresh baked. Very little value for money spent. Very disappointed."

Save your money and just open a can of Chef Boyardee. It seems like the only seasoning they know is sugar. Even the croutons on the salad were sweet. I tried to eat it, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. The service was slow, and the dining room was freezing. Price per person: $20–30. Food: 2/5. Service: 3/5. Atmosphere: 2/5. View menu

Had the lasagna, Food was good. Only bring you out 1 breadstick, ask for more....they were good but not hot, hardly even warm. Desserts are good but a little overpriced. $8.50 for a slice of cake. The service was average at 3 stars, primarily because the waitress was doing her best despite being understaffed. The food was enjoyable overall. We ordered chicken parmesan (4 stars), a meat lovers calzone (4 stars), pizza (4 stars), cheese ravioli (3 stars), and lasagna (5 stars). However, we probably wouldn't make the 40-mile drive to dine here again. Meal type: Dinner, Dine-in.

This was my first visit to the restaurant. I really enjoyed the calamari; it was served hot and tasted great. However, I would have preferred a thin crust option for the pizza. I found the tomato sauce to be a bit too salty for my taste. I'm looking forward to returning and trying other dishes, but I’ll need to watch my carb intake for a few days beforehand. We were in town for a visitation and wanted to grab a bite before we headed back home. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Food.... Shut the front door... I love the house dressing... The mushroom ravioli with Alfredo sauce and the homemade French fries on the kid menu! I was telling my husband that I would drive the hour from home.to eat here again. It was so good... I didn't even take a photo!!! Dietary restrictions: Things were offered gluten free

This is my third time trying, just cause it's so close to home, and ugh......again. Soggy liquid logged cake, tasteless pasta, thin/absolutely non existent service, frozen meat warmed up in the microwave and what kind of Italian restaurant does not offer you bread......one piece with certain meals only. Also the Parmesan cheese is in little to go packets. We used about 20 packets to get half a handful of cheese. Waited an hour for food and 45 mins to get a refill but boy were they quick to drop a ticket off and come back for the payment. I will make the trip to Louisville or Elizabethtown from now on when I want some edible Italian food.
