"I agree with other posts, I have no idea why this place has 4.4 stars. I was shocked it wasn’t 3 or lower. I was stoked to try Louisiana food in the area. The food is incredibly overpriced for being the absolute minimum quality $17 for one of the worst sandwiches). We asked for 2 po boy sandwiches and we asked for the fries to be in a separate basket so we could share, and my buddy wanted his sandwich without lettuce or tomato. He hates them both. This place is tiny, so the fact the the fries came on my buddy’s plate without a shareable basket anyways, and his sandwich had lettuce and tomato is wild. You’re looking after, what, 6 people in the whole restaurant? They weren’t busy at all. They’re using toast POS systems, which is the best, most convenient POS system because you can add special notes for the cooks to see so there’s no mistakes, and if you’re at least a decent server, you actually look at the food before you run it to make sure it’s right. Easiest order ever and they messed it up. Service was whatever, food was so bad I couldn’t finish my meal, and to top it off, there’s no signs that say “card only”. So when I went to pay cash, our server literally couldn’t give us change. The only possible reason I can see them charging $17 for an absolutely awful sandwich is because the place is desperate. As a local I say stay away. There’s way better food pretty much anywhere else, and we could use a better restaurant in place of this one. Something like this doesn’t deserve a spot on main st in Frisco. Maybe a side street in Fairplay. Please don’t think this is Louisiana food, because it’s extremely far from it. The food at this restaurant is truly excellent. The service is top-notch, making it a great spot for a sit-down lunch. While prices are on the higher side (over $100 per person), the quality of the food and the atmosphere make it worth it. I highly recommend trying the Lobster Bisque.

Food was good, service was a bit slow. Can't blame the kid though he was basically by himself. If the place staffed up a bit it would absolutely help. Best zydeco shrimp po boy we have ever had and we've sampled many po boys in the south! The bread ... swoon ... the spice ... the creamy mellowness of the Cajun sauce. I will be dreaming of it for years. I hope it was just a bad day. a large part of the menu was not available. our new waiter was alone and fought to remind us of our drink and dinner order and send our food order to the kitchen. after an hour (thank you we are patient), we have not yet our soft drinks and tee or the appetizers we have ordered. when we got to eat, the rice was very boiled/hard, but the aromen were good. my hope is that they are able to win and keep employees, their hands on their special food goods, and have enough people / food / customer service to ensure that there is the great Cajun eating experience we have loved for years.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible Cajun restaurant and it was a great find! It had been years since I last had authentic Cajun food, and this place did not disappoint. The gumbo was a standout dish that I highly recommend. While parking may require a short walk, it's not a major inconvenience. Upon entering, it may not be immediately clear that it's self-seating, so make sure to grab your own menu. The table service was excellent, and I believe the man who took our order was the owner. Overall, I highly recommend trying out this fantastic Cajun spot if you're in the area. The parking may be a bit tricky, but that just gives you an opportunity to explore more shops near...
