"I called ahead to make a reservation at this restaurant and the hostess, Cathy, was incredibly helpful in booking a table for my guests. She even mentioned that casual summer attire like shorts and polo shirts were perfectly fine. I was also informed that they are a BYOB establishment, so I stopped by Briarwood Wine and Spirits for a bottle of Italian White wine, which came with a 10% discount for mentioning Crazy Cat Eat Up. The menu featured a variety of fresh fish dishes, from trout to redfish to catfish. I chose the pork porterhouse with sweet potato purée and it was delicious. Everyone at our table was satisfied with their meals, as the portions were generous. The service was attentive but not rushed. Although we were too full to truly enjoy it, the cobbler for dessert was tasty. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was very pleasant, all overseen by founder John Lansdale. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I would highly recommend this restaurant."
