"I have been a consistent customer of Denny since the late 1960s. I'm so old. I always loved her food, her friendly and fast service. Also here in Anderson I have traditionally enjoyed the food at Denny. Lately, they seem to have problems to hire good, competent and waiting employees. A few times my son and I went there, usually at 10 a.m., and had to wait very long until someone acknowledges us. The last two times we decided to go and go to IHOP, right on the road. Not necessarily better service or menu, you are both comparable, but at least we will be at IHOP within a reasonable time. I love the 55 menu at Denny 's with quite large portions at fair prices. Usually I order the starter an egg, a piece of bacon or sausage, hash browns and toast. All for just $6.69. A great value for older males, I can never finish. Hopefully, things will change and young people actually want to work hard again. That's probably the problem."
