"Haven't been to Spago since their facelift and I'm so happy some things never change. Spago is still the overall number one restaurant in all of Los Angeles. First, the ambiance: The new look is updated but not overdone and the feeling in the dining room and the garden is still very much warm, cozy and elegant. The Food: Pure perfection from start to finish!! We opted to go with the tasting menu $240 per person) along with some choice wines throughout the meal a full wine pairing is also available). Every single item in the tasting menu ranged from very good to amazing. The fact that this kitchen crew can execute a regular a-la-carte menu, along with a separate tasting menu to such perfection of timing and most importantly look and flavor is quite impressive. Favorites were the Gazpacho, Halibut, and Veal but everything else was absolutely delicious!! The tasting menu is extensive and for most people would be enough but not for us!! So added the ridiculously amazing bread box, a side of what can only be described as the best mashed potatoes you will ever have, and a chocolate soufflé....why you ask...jest because The service: Our server Gerhardt and the Sommelier Devin were superstars, as well as the team around them. Service pace was perfect and the wines recommended by Devin were excellent Gruner Veltliner, Rioja, Riesling). GREAT JOB!!!"

"For our 30th anniversary, it was a blessing to have come across a staff that really took the time to cater to me and my wife. Our reservation was a last minute decision, but by the way we were treated, you would have thought it was planned. We normally travel to the top Michelin Star restaurant in the world (just returned earlier this month from the no.1 rated in Spain, Malaga, and Portugal for a birthday celebration), but this year we decided to travel to CA, and stopped in at Ocean Prime while touring Beverly Hills. This turned out to be an excellent decision, as Andre, our Captain, was attentive, kind, caring and one who understood and embodied the mission and culture of the establishment. Andre and his little brother “Raul” (a running joke) were exceptional and made it special. Not to leave out the other staff, to include the hostesses who offered to take our photos upon arrival, and the valet attendant who was pleasant in just answering our questions, who also made it a memorable experience. Again, we are used to generosities such as these because we travel the world to eat at fine dining establishments; however, it was equivalent to our experiences at those establishments, and so it was refreshing to find it without it being planned. "Shocking!!! We had a hair baked into the cookie that was part of the cheesecake dessert. The hair was actually hanging out of the baked cookie. The waiter did look at it and whisk it away with apologies. He also returned later to let us know that the kitchen staff were reminded to wear their hairnets but no manager came to our table and our dessert wasn’t even removed from the bill."

"Ruth's has the best sizzling steak, in my opinion. Our food was generally good this time, but something must have been a little off as out of diners had stomach issues afterwards. I was the lucky one that didn't, but it was odd that my friends all did. The steaks were cooked well, dripping in butter (as requested), and served fairly quickly. The only miss was the dessert. The birthday girl got hers at least min earlier than everyone else for some reason and when the rest of ours did come, it was disappointing. The bread pudding was a little bit too sweet and mushy. The ice cream it came with was good, but didn't help the sweet factor of that dessert. The wait staff was also "good" but I've had better service in other Ruth's restaurants and they hardly acknowledged the mistiming of the dessert course"

"Despite making a reservation with a request to be seated in a quiet place we were led to a table between tables with lots of people yet the place seemed 8o% empty. We then requested the empty end table but were told it was set for a party of five. Imagine my disappointment when two people were then seated at the 'alleged ' table for 5 just after we sat down. A pure level of disrespect when there are many other fine newer steak houses all around. The next day the restaurant called me to say thank you. I told them nicely how we felt. The manager who clearly wasn 't listening, responded, oh no need to apologize ! Seriously? Whether a tourist, a billionaire or someone using savings to take someone out special, we all deserve to be treated respectfully and appreciated for our patronage without their snobby arrogance."

"The food has always has always tasted great here. Most people think they’ll get phenomenal Greek food if they visit places like Mykonos or Santorini or some swanky area in Athens…. All you have to do is venture down Cannon Drive into this hidden gem in the golden triangle aptly called Loùka. Vasili the owner and Fotis the manager do the very best they can do to replicate the flavors of their hometown with much splendor, authenticity and deliciousness! Match that with a fine, imported and extensive wine list and you’re guaranteed a perfect setting with an elevated palate."

"I’m not a local, but I stumbled upon this place for lunch, and after a tough day, the food here truly brightened my mood. The staff was friendly and attentive, checking in on us frequently. Even when they accidentally mixed up my order with the table next to us, we all shared some good laughs, and they apologized profusely each time. The ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic—it's fun and vibrant, perfectly matching its theme. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous for the price. If I find myself in the area again, I’ll definitely stop by."

"Ive been to Fogo before but not to this location. I thought this location in BH would be it but it was the worse. The server ignored us until someone else stepped up. The place is like a banquet hall meeting ambiance. The salad bar or whatever it’s suppose to be sucked A LOT it was disgusting, it was set up like a backyard party. To top it off there were flies!! Most of the meat given was not cooked well either. So disappointed to have celebrated my wedding anniversary here. A local mom and pop would have been better, truly"

"Went here for dinner the other night service started out great the food was great as well it is expensive but you are getting great quality. As I said service in the beginning was great our waiter was very Nice and helpful. Then as soon as we were on our last bit of meat it’s like the waiter disappeared I asked for a drink refill 3 times never came till we ordered dessert and the other waitress who was helping same thing. Then we probably waited another 30 min just to get our bill we just went up to where you pay cuz no one came back to us. Our waiter was drinking and socializing with another table that was extra loud and annoying the whole dinner (this restaurant isn’t big). What kind of waiter just forgets about your guest? Especially with the price you pay here you would expect Exceptionable service paying over $1,000 for dinner (4 ppl). Also the waiter didn’t even say anything as we left. If you are a fan of Wagu this place is great for you. It was good just don’t think I will ever eat here again due to the service we received. Good luck!"

"I'm going to be completely honest here, this restaurant is an absolute must try. The atmosphere is a mom and pop small business feel so you know your not just another number or notch in the restaurants belt. I've been ordering from this restaurant for close to two years after a Friend recommended it and I'm finally giving them due credit. If your unfamiliar with Thai cuisine just ask the chef/server/owner to make it simple or less adventurous and she will instantly without issues or attitude which caught me off guard immediately. I recommend their pad Thai, or their fancy duck both are amazing and delicious in their own right, plus you can have the spice to various degrees just ask. Aside from that their reasonably priced and like I said I've ordered 50+ times from this restaurant and not a single time have I had an issue, the quality is always on point and the service is the reason I and many others will continue to come back. If you've never tried I say give it a go you might just find your ultimate comfort food as I have."

"My first visit here for an impromptu brunch… The air was welcoming and unassuming, leather vintage chairs for comfort and cozyness, surrounded by a slightly eclectic decor. We sat outside and familiarized with the wobbly table easily balanced with some pennies. We ordered drinks and main courses, truffles Mac n cheese and a burger, as we read in the menu, the grilled Brussels sprouts catch our eyes and we now have a clearer picture. The Brussels sprouts arrive and they’re amazing, slightly charred with hints of balsamic and a light spice ensemble that rounded it up perfectly. Bravo. The Mac n cheese and the cheeseburger arrive and I can confidently say it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a very long time, carefully crafted every small bite had its own gravity, the white cheddar was married by a light horseradish and crispy fried onions, the fresh tomato balanced it with gusto and brought it back to the beef patty, juicy and fresh with a hint of a sweet after bite. Delicious. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy with a slight crunch that energized the dips, a homemade mayonnaise with a pinch of pink salt and organic ketchup, married into the perfect bite and scooped with two fries simultaneously. Again. Bravo. Perfect brunch and perfect settings. What life little moments are made of. Do yourself a favor and treat your taste buds here."

"Bad food and even worse attitude. Ordered wings and pizza for dinner. The food was obviously stale (perhaps someone else’s cancelled order? . The pizza was all burnt from heating in the oven again and the wings were awful, super dry and impossible to eat. We asked them why the wings were so dry and hardened? He (who claimed to be the store manager!! got all angry and very rudely took the food from our table!! I thought we would at least get our money back but he refused to issue a refund. So no food and no money!! This is what he said: “if you wanted fresh food you should’ve said so”. I didn’t know people go to restaurants to eat stale food unless otherwise specified LOL Our evening was ruined and way too much frustration for just wanting to have a peaceful and simple dinner. Do yourself a huge favor and AVOID this place."

"My new favorite place. I like that South Beverly is a lot more calm and relaxed than the restaurants I frequent on the other side of Wilshire. This place has a very nice vibe. "So 2 stars for the service which was great, waiters constantly came by to fill up our water glasses. But the truffle pasta was a major disappointment. Can't believe I wasted my birthday lunch on this bland meal. I paid $15 for the shaved fresh truffles on top which I thank God for because the fresh truffles was the only thing with any flavor on my plate. I also paid $28 for the cheese wheel upgrade but imagine my surprise when the first waiter just dropped it off table side and then the second waiter immediately just twirled it around a fork and placed it on my plate. No mixing or scraping of the cheese wheel to pick up any pecorino cheese flavor. When I asked our waiter about it, he said they finish cooking the pasta in its sauce on the cheese wheel in the kitchen. Ok but my pasta clearly had no sauce either. My husband had the linguini w half lobster, the tomato sauce overpowered any crab or lobster flavor. The lobster was also overcooked. We came here for a special occasion and left very disappointed. If you're looking for good food, look elsewhere. So many better options in the neighborhood."

"A gem of a restaurant. The menu has options for all types of eaters. We loved the vegetarian lasagna, gnocchi marinara, and caprese sandwiche. Among the sides, the broccoli was great. They also serve a warm flat bread for the table, it is excellent, try it with olive oil. Service is attentive, and prompt. The food takes a little longer to come up, but totally worth it."

"12:30 PM Sat. Smart friendly accommodating service!! Seated quickly at last available table for two. Offered to move us to a more comfy table adjacent, without me having to ask....our server is a mindreader!!! We ended up being three instead of 2...so easily pushed together two tables. Ordered the grilled salmon and mango tacos. Do yourself a favor. Order it too, off the special above-the-counter chalkboard menu. It's not on the official lunch menu. A friend was here a few days ago and took a pic of these gorgeous colorful tacos...and when I saw it posted on FB, I heard the hallelujah chorus. See pic. My friend ordered the tacos too....smart woman....and her husband ordered the fit lunch...looked good too...salad and a sandwich...and salsa.... But I had only eyes for those tacos. TIP: parking in rear. I am vowing to try everything on their menu...so goood..."
