"What a mediocre meal. Can’t say any food was bad, just nothing great. To start off a nice lady sat us, was a nice crowd not too crowded. That’s when it got not great our server was TERRIBLE I mean TERRIBLE!!!!! Anyone can see most of my reviews are deserved 5 stars Piccollo gets 3 star for food and ZERO stars for service!!! We sat and waited and waited and waited again not too crowded, but normal nice crowd. Finally waiter came and I was just a bad communicator and could care less. I asked for a taste of a 2 red wines took forever he came back with one (the most expensive with such a tiny taste) then he took forever to come back. I asked for a taste of another and he came back with a full glass no taste. I was thirsty so I took it. But again bad communication he did not listen at all. Then he asked if we want water didn’t offer filtered house just brought us a bottle and popped it open and poured pretty presumptuous! And a fee he did not even ask about profit bottle. Which I often order but sure is nice, professional, and respectful when we are at least asked. We waited and waited and waited to place our order got some bread THANK GOD WE WERE STARVING!!! The bread was mediocre at best what Beverly Hill restaurant doesn’t have awesome bread????!! As we ordered, asked about veal and he points to duck I speak VERY clearly and veal means veal not duck. Order in, chopped arugula salad, eggplant app, pasta, veal. Over an hour from the start our food came no check ins from our waiter or anyone was terrible service TERRIBLE we were invisible and we’re a nice, kind, we’ll dresses polite couple who eats out a LOT! Salad was ok, not bad, ok. Eggplant app delicious!!!! Wine “good”. Aperol very good/normal. Pasta homemade good, not great, but pretty good. Veal huge portion with old school potato’s and veggies pretty bad, tasted like Lysol like canned mushroom sauce no salt or anything special on veggies VERY OLD SCHOOL *Chef this is Beverly Hills this meal should be amazing but was far from it. In summary food was “ok” but far from good, service was HORRIBLE AND VERY SLOW. WAITER please train this guy. Others look up “service”. Price very fair, assuming food would have been good. We’ll never get these 2 hours back. If you want a mediocre Italian place like you’d find in a strip mall you got it. If you want delicious LA/Beverly Hills good and SERVICE this is not the place."

Got the most expensive things on the menu, very tasteless, waitress was awful, I wonder if she even spoke English. Definitely not worth an average of $180 per person for drinks and food

They did a great job tonight and it was a packed house! Food was great and once we sat down it was like we were in our own little world. Tortellini chicken soup appetizer eggplant with ricotta for the win! View menu

I strongly recommend you try the Calamari Fritti, Piccolo Paradiso, Dover Sole, Veal Scallopini, Homemade Pasta, and Burrata. Each dish was skillfully prepared and incredibly tasty. Be sure not to miss the amazing flavors this restaurant provides!

We were originally trying to go to a different restaurant but ended up at Piccolo Paradiso, and it turned out to be the best choice we could have made. Everything was exceptional—food, service, and ambiance. Our server, Francesco, was outstanding. We will definitely return to Beverly Hills and visit this restaurant again! It’s amazing! Classic old school yet modern charm. You expect great food being in Beverly Hills, and this place does not disappoint. The squid ink risotto with seafood (clam, shrimp and calamari) was excellent all the pasta we had was great. Thebeer is only bottled Peroni, but the wine drinkers have plenary of options. Patrick took great care of us as well. VictorB View menu

My new favorite place. I like that South Beverly is a lot more calm and relaxed than the restaurants I frequent on the other side of Wilshire. This place has a very nice vibe. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time, and it was just comfortable. The service was great. The food was outstanding. The ravioli is definitely worth a try. For what you get, the price seemed veryreasonable. I can’t wait to go back

Piccolo is a wonderful little place in Beverly Hills. It has been around awhile and is just adorable. It has this lovely red awing at the entrance. The place is kept super clean. The service is so friendly and warm. They know the menu and wine list well and may suggest something you have never had. You will love them. It can get crowded so make a reservation. They also do delivery and take away. We have been several times and I have forgotten to review. The seating is so comfortable and I love white tablecloths with a wee candle. Try their Cappelletti in Brodo, which has prosciutto stuffed tortellini, and parmesan on chicken broth. Their Melanzane Alla Parmigiana is amazing. It is baked eggp...

"Haven't been to Spago since their facelift and I'm so happy some things never change. Spago is still the overall number one restaurant in all of Los Angeles. First, the ambiance: The new look is updated but not overdone and the feeling in the dining room and the garden is still very much warm, cozy and elegant. The Food: Pure perfection from start to finish!! We opted to go with the tasting menu $240 per person) along with some choice wines throughout the meal a full wine pairing is also available). Every single item in the tasting menu ranged from very good to amazing. The fact that this kitchen crew can execute a regular a-la-carte menu, along with a separate tasting menu to such perfection of timing and most importantly look and flavor is quite impressive. Favorites were the Gazpacho, Halibut, and Veal but everything else was absolutely delicious!! The tasting menu is extensive and for most people would be enough but not for us!! So added the ridiculously amazing bread box, a side of what can only be described as the best mashed potatoes you will ever have, and a chocolate soufflé....why you ask...jest because The service: Our server Gerhardt and the Sommelier Devin were superstars, as well as the team around them. Service pace was perfect and the wines recommended by Devin were excellent Gruner Veltliner, Rioja, Riesling). GREAT JOB!!!"
