"This restaurant offers authentic Italian pizzas made with imported ingredients. While the vegan options aren't clearly labeled on the menu, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, ready to discuss what dishes are available for those seeking plant-based choices. They have two types of crust: a thick, chewy style and a thin, crispy option. The seemingly simple marinara pizza is surprisingly flavorful and comes at a great price! This review was updated from the previous one on June 20, 2019."

"I think the name has always kept me away, because I thought it was just a pizzeria. This place offers way more than pizza! The outside, like the name, is very understated. When you walk in, you recognize this place is upscale! The music, the lighting, the ambiance was perfect for a nice dinner (inside temp was warm and needed to be cooler, kind of uncomfortable). The service was very good. Our server, Adrian, made very good recommendations and even comped our dessert because it was our first time there. The menu offers a variety of pizzas, pasta, and protein. I chose the linguine with clams and was not disappointed! The serving size was perfect.... actually, it was so good that I wanted more! I HIGHLY recommend this place. Outdoor seating is also available, where you can enjoy the cool night air."

"Everytime I have eaten there, the food is delicious..they run an impeccable place and their staff is top notch, I had Alana as a server..and she attended to us as if we were V.I.P...that is in fact how everyone is treated there..whether your a party of 10..or a party of 2..the owners greet you as if you are extended family..and the dining area is always clean and trendy..Im so happy they picked our community to.put their restaraunt in, I would travel to this place even if was out of my way to enjoy the experience again."

"When we arrived, no hostess and sign that said “seat yourself”. Restaurant was full so no open tables. Told a server we had a reservation on Open Table so she found us a small table in the hallway. No one came to our table so after 10 minutes we walked out. Food might be good but we’ll never know. Very disorganized, we won’t be back."

"Chef Ramsey really needs to come here. I was not impressed with the Shrimp tacos on blue corn tortillas, they were overcooked and bland and tasted like they were cooked on a Jack in the box griddle, and the salad I'm assuming it was salad it was wilted probably marinating with the salad dressing caused it couldn't see any evidence of salad dressing . Other than that the view from the bar is really beautiful. I doubt I'll ever be back considering that it's kind of high priced and the food wasn't very impressive. Good service however! "The vibessssss. Great great vibes. I don’t know if this was a special occasion or a super lucky day but there was a group of Italians in the patio out back playing music with their guitar and singing which really made the entire meal and ambiance so enjoyable. The complimentary bread came with some dank pesto dipping sauce. The group ordered calamari, two pizzas, lasagna and a panini. The pizzas were definitely the move and id recommend that over everything. But the lasagna did smelled exceptional.Bellinis were flowing and were a crowd favorite too."

"My partner and I are regulars at Sapori because the quality of the experience it offers, food, service and ambiance, is consistently quite high. Consistency is this restaurant’s hallmark. You can reasonably anticipate very well prepared dishes every time, salads, pastas, standard fish and meat dishes, as well as daily specials. The Branzino is as well prepared as you will find anywhere. I love the salads and pastas. The restaurant has the feel of Italy about it, though the portions tend to be much larger. This is a two course, not a three course restaurant. The wine list is authentic and the corkage standard for the area. On balance, I feel this is the best Italian restaurant in the Newport Beach area."

"The Buffalo slice was quite good, earning a solid 6 out of 10. The Chicken Parm slice was decent but not exceptional, so I’d rate it around 4 or 5 out of 10. Unfortunately, the Margherita slice was quite disappointing; I'd give it only a 2 or 3 out of 10. The Marinara sauce also fell flat – it lacked flavor, to be honest. Overall, while this experience wasn't the best, the staff was really nice, and they do offer some decent options. There's enough potential to warrant another visit, and I would definitely recommend Maplewood Pizzeria for anyone in the MAPSO area looking for reasonably priced and tasty pizza. I think I'll have to try more items from their menu before making a final judgment!"

"We were a party of six on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant was very empty but we were seated at a very small, cramped table in the middle of the restaurant when there were larger tables open in other, more comfortable places available. Their Caesar salad for an extra is definitely not worth it. It seemed like a bag salad and dressing with disappointing croutons. The main meals were good everyone seemed to enjoy them. The fettuccine is an extra because it is house made fresh. It arrived cold with a very sweet tomato sauce on it disappointing. The wine list leaves quite a bit to be desired. I had high hopes because we've had catering by this restaurant and it's always been delicious. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very lackluster with uncomfortable chairs. This, coupled with the expensive add on items which tasted mediocre, really disappointed."

"Food was amazing so props to the chefs. Appetiser came out super fast. But when it came to the mains, they took 45 mins to arrive (after prompting). Not to mention people that were seated about 30 mins after us had already received their mains. After receiving the bill, and waiting 10 mins for the server. One of our party went to expedite the process, only to find them chatting with other wait staff. Near the kitchen. All in all. If you want great food. Come here. If you have deadlines or not much time to crunch. Find an alternative spot."

"We recently held our wedding rehearsal dinner at the Italian Affair Restaurant and it was wonderful. We had booked their private side room, which comfortably accommodated our group of 36. The restaurant is very authentic and the food was amazing. For dessert, we enjoyed homemade ice cream and tiramisu. Laura, our host, provided excellent service and she and her staff went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional. We are grateful to Italian Affair for their hospitality. The service, food, and atmosphere all received top marks from us. We recommend trying the Warm Rolls, Vino Della Casa House Choice Wine Glass, House Salad, and Chicken Parmigiana. There is plenty of parking available, with a free parking lot as one of the options. "My wife and I dined at this restaurant a few months ago and loved it so much that we decided to come back. This was our second visit since the building was devastated by a flood. We started our meal with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered the Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. A salad was included with the entrees. The dining room can get a bit loud, but the incredible food makes it worth it."

"Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill from there. While the drinks were acceptable, our lone waitress—who was very kind—was overwhelmed, serving us one by one on her own. It took 15 minutes for the entire group to receive their drinks. We ordered pizza as an appetizer, which turned out to be one of the few highlights of our evening. The Greek salad was also decent, but these were the only items that might have earned this place more than a single star. Sadly, they weren't enough to salvage the meal. For dinner, our group ordered cacio e pepe, pasta all'amatriciana, and chicken karrage. The pasta appeared to have been poorly cooked; it was overcooked in some areas while undercooked in others. The term "al dente" took on a new meaning, as many pieces were barely cooked and stuck together. The cacio e pepe was worse than boxed mac and cheese, and the amatriciana was so bland that even salt and pepper couldn’t save it. The chicken karrage, described as a Japanese bento box-style dish, turned out to be just six sad chicken pieces on a plate, without any sauce. Additionally, it took around 45 minutes for our main courses to arrive. Overall, this was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I was extremely disappointed, especially since ZeroZero had received excellent reviews. It felt like our dining party had been trapped in a terrible restaurant disguised as something else. I believe ZeroZero should be removed from OpenTable immediately! While our waitress was friendly, she couldn’t make up for the terrible food. Save yourself the trouble—don't go here!"

"My new favorite place. I like that South Beverly is a lot more calm and relaxed than the restaurants I frequent on the other side of Wilshire. This place has a very nice vibe. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time, and it was just comfortable. The service was great. The food was outstanding. The ravioli is definitely worth a try. For what you get, the price seemed veryreasonable. I can’t wait to go back"

"Being Italian is very hard for me to find authentic Italian food and pizzas to meet my standards, well Spris in Midtown not only meet my high standards when it comes to the freshness and authenticity of the food but they exceed my expectations with their customer service . Every time I go there Simona takes amazing care of me and my family , she goes above and beyond . If you are looking for excellent Italian food, pizzas and service this is your spot . I highly recommend Simona to be your waitress , you won’t be disappointed! BTW . Thank you Simona for making sure I get my “ Americana without wustel “ even if it’s not in the menu, and thank you for making feel like I’m back home in Italy with your service and splendid well manners"

"The food was wonderful. It was presented nicely and the server was very helpful in my request for the gluten free pasta. It would have been helpful to have a gluten free roll, bread, cracker or even corn chips to go with the goat cheese appetizer we had ordered so I could enjoy it with something other than my spoon, but the experience, knowledgeable staff, and tasty dishes will bring me back another time. I always am looking for gf options on the menus of restaurants since available items to order are usually limited. Thank you for a beautiful evening celebrating my son's birthday."

"A complete gem in San Diego's Little Italy! First time eating at Nonna and the food and service were outstanding. I am a second generation Italian and have eaten all over. My go to is usually the Lasagne as long as the server gives me a thumbs up on its authenticity. This place did not disappoint at all. In fact it was truly the best tasting Lasagne I have ever eaten. Just don't tell my family. We also had the carbona which too was out of this world, flavorful and bursting with flavor. Ambiance was great and everyone was friendly and on top of things. Definitely worth every penny and we will definitely be returning!"
