"I've ordered from this Andolini's location many times. When they get it right, the food is fantastic, but when they get it wrong it's usually a miserable failure. That's why there are so many mixed reviews here. Last night takes the cake for me. I spent $120 on apps, pizza, and pasta, ordered online via their website and fulfilled by Doordash. Food was at my door 1 hour 10 minutes later which I thought was pretty good for a Saturday night. The pizza was wonderful. The stromboli was a little soggy but still good. The caprese antipasto was a joke. The tomato slices were ENDS you know, the part that's hard to chew and belongs in the garbage and also extremely thinly sliced, barely the width of a fork tine. I don't know how they can possibly think that's acceptable. Also, if there was balsamic glaze on it I couldn't see or taste it. I love this appetizer and it never used to be like this, but it seems like sometime last year they started having problems making it correctly from using tomato ends to missing olives, thin slices of mozzarella, no balsamic, etc. Whenever there's been an issue and I complained, they made it right, but who wants to do that all the time? You know what I really want? For my food to be right the first time. EDIT: After communicating with Mike, the owner, I wanted to add this update to my review. Not only did he make things right with my recent order, he went above and beyond in addressing my concerns about past orders. He cares deeply about his restaurant and is committed to providing customers with a great dining experience, so while mistakes and miscommunications can happen (we're all human, after all) I'm confident I will always be taken care of at Andolini's."

"I never do food reviews but this place has disappointed me too many times. I eventually forget and come back every 6 months or so and then I remember why I said I would never eat there again. The service is great, the employees are friendly and fast but sadly the food is very disappointing. I can't speak for everything on the menu, but the two items that I have had there first the Italian sub, I have had it many times and today I decided to try the Philly Cheese Steak. The problem with their subs is they build them like a taco, just slicing the bread vertically and stacking everything on top with the veggies on top which leads to lettuce spilling out everywhere and every other bite being only meat or only veggies. Secondly and this applies to both sandwiches is for some crazy reason their default cheese for what seems to be everything is just shredded mozzarella or maybe cheddar cheese. It's hard to tell which it is but either way it doesn't go on a sub, it's the first thing they put on the Italian and it creates this blob of cheese that you taste first when you bite into the sandwich. I have no idea why they don't use deli slices. Also the pepperoni is just a few slices of pizza topping pepperoni, not deli slices, most of the sandwich had no pepperoni at all and there wasn't much meat to speak of it was mostly just lettuce and cheese. The worst part of all was the Philly Cheesesteak. I was expecting it to be like most where provolone or whiz is melted into the meat but no they just threw the same shredded pizza cheese right on top after putting it together cold as ice. And there wasn't even very much just a light sprinkling of cheese sitting on top of the sandwich. Have they never seen a Philly Cheesesteak? I can't understand how they think this is anywhere close to what one should be. Also asked for grilled onions and they were barely translucent they certainly don't bother caramelizing them at all. Overall I just can't recommend these two items and that is disappointing because they are what places like this should have mastered but both are very mediocre. I'll try again sometime in the future but I don't expect anything to change. For some reason places always have these blind spots where basic things they just get wrong in weird ways. I would love to speak to whoever came up with their menu and find out what they were thinking."

"We stumbled across the cute little gem while house hunting and have been wanting to go for a while. The little place is so cute! We went in on a Friday and it was not a packed crowd. Just a few locals having a quiet dinner. Kenny Rogers was playing at a comfortable level over the speakers. The staff were all smiling and seemed to be happy they were there. We all know what a rarity that is these days. We took a look at the menu and decided on the Fat Boy Platter with baked beans, atomic slaw, and fried okra. It came out warm and smelling amazing. The bologna was smoky and paired perfectly with the sa-Mokin bbq sauce. The sausage was pretty good but tasting the two of them back to back, we felt the hot link was much more flavorful and was a great heat level. It was enough to leave a little heat in your tongue but it wasn 't scorching hot. The chicken was the juiciest chicken I have ever had. It tasted like it was smoked in chicken stock or something. The ribs were texturally awesome and the flavor was off the charts. They did not fall of the bone but that meant they weren 't mushy. They have the slightest chew and with one little tug, they do come right off. I loved them. The ham and brisket were thinly sliced and were my least favorite. Not because anything was wrong with them, I just don 't really care for them in any setting. The beans were rich and spiced perfectly with just a hint of sweetness. The atomic slaw, I loved! It had more a vinegar than a mayo taste and the heat again was very nicely balanced against the crunchy veggies. It was delicious and was a nice break from all the rich bbq. This is my new favorite in town. I will be back!"
