"We stumbled across the cute little gem while house hunting and have been wanting to go for a while. The little place is so cute! We went in on a Friday and it was not a packed crowd. Just a few locals having a quiet dinner. Kenny Rogers was playing at a comfortable level over the speakers. The staff were all smiling and seemed to be happy they were there. We all know what a rarity that is these days. We took a look at the menu and decided on the Fat Boy Platter with baked beans, atomic slaw, and fried okra. It came out warm and smelling amazing. The bologna was smoky and paired perfectly with the sa-Mokin bbq sauce. The sausage was pretty good but tasting the two of them back to back, we felt the hot link was much more flavorful and was a great heat level. It was enough to leave a little heat in your tongue but it wasn 't scorching hot. The chicken was the juiciest chicken I have ever had. It tasted like it was smoked in chicken stock or something. The ribs were texturally awesome and the flavor was off the charts. They did not fall of the bone but that meant they weren 't mushy. They have the slightest chew and with one little tug, they do come right off. I loved them. The ham and brisket were thinly sliced and were my least favorite. Not because anything was wrong with them, I just don 't really care for them in any setting. The beans were rich and spiced perfectly with just a hint of sweetness. The atomic slaw, I loved! It had more a vinegar than a mayo taste and the heat again was very nicely balanced against the crunchy veggies. It was delicious and was a nice break from all the rich bbq. This is my new favorite in town. I will be back!"

We visited this restaurant to grab a bite to eat and watch the WCWS. They were very accommodating in changing the TV channels for us. Everyone ordered something different and all agreed that the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning in the future.

My girlfriend and I were driving through the backroads and came across BH. Definitely surprised at how good their coconut shrimp and fried mushrooms were! This company definitely puts love into their food and you can tell it's fresh. 10/10 would recommend and worth the drive.

Ordered to go for delivery on Grub Hub. Ordered stuffed mushrooms. They tasted great but only 8 mushrooms for $8. Ordered chili, $10 for less than a cup of chili. Chili is great but the portion size is **** for 10 bucks. Called BH to ****, the person answering the phone didn't give a ****. Blamed it on the owner. I wouldn't come here staff doesn't care that you are even there. Not an inviting place at all. We've been here two times now and both times it has been terrible service food. They put cornmeal on your chicken strips not sure why it was very dry and gritty. My husbands catfish which I don't believe was catfish as we eat it a lot was terrible. The chips are super greasy but good. We told the waitress our concerns and she could not care less. 100% would not come here we even ordered different food from last time.

I really wanted to love this place, as I always try to support small, non-chain restaurants. However, I found it difficult to do so. The only positive things I can say are that the wait staff was friendly and the beer was cold. The menu offers sandwiches, entrees, and salads, but I found the food to be overpriced and just mediocre. Almost every item on the menu was $2 more expensive than it should be, and the sodas tasted flat. I don't plan on returning to eat here again, but maybe I'll come back to sit at the bar for a cold beer.

BH hamburger was excellent (and sloppy with all the mushrooms, bacon and lettuce, the way you would want it)! The Country Fried Chicken consisted of 3 boneless thighs, deep fried to perfect doneness and juicy alongside coarsely smashed potatoes. As far as we could determine, all (including the fries) were made in-house. Service was good and friendly. My major issue was the taste of the chicken. It had an off-taste which I suspect was because it was fried in the same grease as fish (and they sell a lot of fried fish, I'm told). The service at the restaurant was very polite! The atmosphere was very dimly lit. We started with the stuffed and fried mushrooms, which we found to be very tasty. However, my girlfriend's avocado BLT did not have any avocado in it. I opted for the fish and chips after reading positive reviews, and noticed on the menu that you could choose between chips or sweet potato fries. Even though I tried to switch to sweet potato fries, the waitress recommended the chips instead. The fish was delicious, but the chips were disappointing as they were very greasy and lacked flavor. I ate lunch here nearly three years ago and they had a limited bar food type menu. My son and I ate there this evening and it has definitely changed. Extensive menu for a non-assuming appearance and location (out where we used to call the boonies so it was difficult to choose an entree (we weren 't hungry enough for appetizers but what the listed looked delicious . My son chose fried catfish dinner, substituting fries for fried okra. The only disappointing food was the limpy soft and barely warm fries. The other side, slaw, was average however the fish was hot and cooked to perfection! And delicious! I got my favorite item when checking out a new eating place...chicken fried steak! It seems...
