"We went to this restaurant because we were invited to join some friends who were visiting. The waiter provided excellent service, and my wife really enjoyed her beer. The pizza crust was delicious, making the pizza standout compared to most places. I ordered the popular Hangover burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wait for our food was quite long. Considering it was a Saturday and they were busy, we ended up waiting almost an hour for our meals. Nonetheless, I would certainly return if invited again."

"This is my go-to place to eat in Clarksville and it's a fantastic family-owned business! Four years ago, after trying shawarma for the first time overseas, I became hooked. When I returned home, I needed to satisfy that craving and that's when I discovered this gem! The food tastes just as amazing as it did abroad, maybe even better! The customer service is top-notch, as they always go above and beyond to assist you, and they even let us sample their Turkish coffee! The new location is stunning and a great improvement. I highly recommend this place - 10/10!"

"I was looking for a restaurant in Clarksville that was conveniently located between my house and my father's for a birthday dinner. After reading reviews, I decided on Dae Bok. Herman, who runs the place, and his mother, a native Korean, handle the cooking. He mentioned that his mother uses jackfruit as a meat alternative for vegan dishes, or simply omits meat for those options—just ask about which dishes can be adapted. I ordered the Bulgogi with jackfruit, while my father chose the Chicken Bulgogi. He ended up trying and enjoying the jackfruit, too! We also ordered Yamandu, which are fried dumplings. Each meal comes with kimchi that doesn't use fish ingredients and a bean spice salad. We had plenty of food, enough to take home a second meal. Herman was very friendly and informative. While we were there, we noticed a few other customers and some takeout orders being prepared. The restaurant may not be easily noticeable from the road, but it’s definitely a hidden gem. There are plenty of options for both vegan preferences and for those with omnivore tastes."

"Hello. You may have seen my last review on my previous account…where I had a horrific encounter with a younger lad working the grill station. A brief summary, he acted like a viscous beast and charged me with butcher knives. It’s been a little over three weeks since the incident and it’s safe to say my mental health is recovering slow, but recovering nonetheless. After seeing a licensed counselor I was informed that facing your fears is a common way of overcoming mental anxiety. So, without hesitation I took this opportunity to better myself MISTAKE!!! I entered core life this afternoon with confidence…and felt relieved when I did not see the demon boy behind the counter. I asked one of the workers about him, whom replied he has been fired due to playing cheif keefs “Love Sosa” on aux repeatedly LOL! Anyway, after ordering my tuna poke bowl, I entered the bathroom to relieve myself….when something absurd happened. A ghost rose from the urinal and moaned my name extremely loud. I whipped my head around and saw the face of the demon boy…he was pale and floating in the air. I tried to run but he pulled me back by the collar of my shirt. I begged mercilessly to be let go, but he silenced me by reaching into the toilet, scooping a handful of feces, and smashing it into my face with extreme force. I threw my arms about trying to free myself from this ghostly figure, which eventually worked. I let out a final scream…(at this point I felt like there was no hope, and accepted my defeat against my worst nightmare). He had already removed my clothes and, at this point, was tickling me excessively. This is when a miracle happened…he politely apologized, wiped and cleaned my face off, then let me free. After exiting the bathroom, I DEMOLISHED my tuna poke bowl. It was tasty. 10/10 experience. Would definitely return to this location."

"First, I want anyone reading this to know we eat lunch out 3 to 4 times EVERY week. Additionally, I know prices are up everywhere. Both my wife and I each had one tamale and one gordita. We each had a side of refried beans. We both felt the tamales $3.75) just weren't good. They were dry and the meat pork) was dry and so tough you couldn't cut it. The only redeeming thing about our meals were the gorditas $4.75). My wife had the carnitas gordita and I had the chorizo gordita. Both gorditas were excellent! I had a couple Mexican bottle beers $5.00) each. My wife had a diet Coke served in a plastic bottle, no refills. We were charged $4.50 for a bottle of Coke, not Mexican Coke. Really? $4.50? The employees are extremely nice and previously we've had some pretty good meals."

"I had never visited this restaurant when it was still called Jerry's Bar and Grill, but I can say that the new owners have transformed the space into a wonderful family dining spot. I really appreciate the decor, but what I love most is the food. It’s a great place to take my boys for a delicious meal. They are big fans of the cheeseburgers and fries, while I particularly enjoy the veggie wrap and fried mushrooms. If my boys finish their meals before I do, they can entertain themselves with the games available. I’ve even been known to join them for a game of air hockey every now and then! This restaurant offers my family not only tasty food but also the chance to spend quality time together—especially when I try to beat my boys at air hockey (which is often amusing!). I would definitely recommend this place to teenagers looking for a fresh sandwich and some entertainment as well. I really admire what the new owners have done with the restaurant and the decor they've chosen. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for families to enjoy a meal together."

"The food had a strong vinegar taste that overshadowed everything else. Considering the high prices, especially for a lunch outing, I was expecting better. The coleslaw resembled sausage gravy, and the fries were still hard and very much like raw potatoes. The onion rings were tough and made with purple onions, which was disappointing. To top it off, the drinks were nearly the same price as an appetizer! This will be my first and last visit. The atmosphere felt more like a bar than a restaurant."

"Spinach pizza and blueberry treat are both delicious! Pizza is very cheesy, needs to be piping hot to fully enjoy. Personal size is ~10 I think and is enough for 2 meals for me. The blueberry treat is perfect! A full blueberry layer, with a cake and crumble that aren't super sweet. My dad will love it! Death by chocolate cake is ok, I wasn't super impressed. She warned me it was really sweet, it was actually not as sweet as I was expecting. Chocolate whipped cream icing, with a German Chocolate icing accent, whipped cream border, and mini chocolate chip garnish. 2 thin layers of cake with what I'm guessing is the Bavarian butter cream layered between, and a crunchy chocolate bottom. It wasn't bad, just not my taste I guess. The coffee cupcake also didn't impress me. I got it for my mom because she likes anything coffee, but I don't think she'll like it either. I tasted almond or amaretto, not a strong coffee taste. The cupcake was more firm and biscuit like. Again, not bad. Just not something I would get again. Haven't tried the bread, but I expect good things. I would definitely go back for the pizza! Would like to try some sandwiches as well."

"Wow. Flavor, variety, a combination of traditional and tex-mex in a nice setting. Each of the five meals was delicious. I had a burrito with chorizo and chicken drizzled in Mexican cheese with a delicious Verde sauce. I loved that salsa, the spice of the chorizo, and you could taste the pieces of chicken. She had a Chile relleno topped with salsa rojo and ground beef which had a truly unique and delicious flavor. Their salsa with the chips was fresh and spicy. Service was great. No wonder this El Bracero is popular! Our family her likes it as a top local restaurant. I'm sure we will return."

"I didn't have high expectations for a café attached to an antique/thrift store, but I was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was great, with good music playing, and the staff was hardworking. The food came out quickly, and there were plenty of vegetarian options available. The potato cakes were amazing! One suggestion: many vegetarians (and possibly others) might assume that the grilled cheese sandwich is vegetarian-friendly. I'm so glad we asked, as we found out it usually contains bacon, which isn't suitable for vegetarians. However, I was really happy that they took a little off the price for leaving it out."

"This restaurant has great potential with its lovely decor and convenient location, and the food was decent. However, my experience was marred by poor service. I only saw my server three times: once to take my order, once to bring the food, and finally to bring the check. I had to ask for the check, and then I waited 15 minutes for her to return and take my payment. Eventually, I had to go up and pay myself. I could understand if the place was busy, but it was far from it. I would recommend this spot if you have extra time and hopefully have a better server, but it’s not ideal if you’re in a hurry."

"When I tried to explain this to the gentleman at the front, he looked at me and insisted that cheese bread and pizza were the same. I had to demonstrate to him that they are not the same before he finally agreed to make what I originally ordered. Unfortunately, by then, I felt ill from eating the raw dough from the first attempt. This ruined my Friday and Saturday morning as I ended up throwing up. I want to express my gratitude for providing me with the worst dining experience and customer service I’ve had in a long time. Additionally, the manager on the night of August 30 manipulated my original order and was completely oblivious to the fact that it was not what I wanted at all. If I wanted a bunch of undercooked dough, I would have ordered cheese bread. What I actually wanted was a small pizza with no sauce, and it seems that was an issue."
