"We really enjoyed the mozzarella cheese sticks, the trio, and chocolate truffle cake. The gnocchi pesto was yummy ? I was so looking forward to this place after so many applauded the service but my server with the purple extensions wasn?t great. She wasn?t rude but definitely not friendly. She didn?t bring us any appetizer plates, we had to ask for refills when the glass was empty and she rushed us out even though we had told her we wanted to take pizza to go. We ordered all 3 courses even dessert. In the end we decided not to grab the pizza since she forced the bill on us even though we were still finishing our dessert. It was Sunday at 4pm and no one else was in the restaurant so not sure her hurry at all."

"Stopped on a whim on a Friday night for the first time and was delighted with the food, service, and ambiance. The bread and oil that was provided was soft, flavorful, and delicious, the bruschetta appetizer and minestrone soup were amazing, and our meals(spaghetti and meatballs and beef tortellini with mushroom) were excellent as well. Someone was playing classical, fun tunes onthe piano and our server was so absolutely kind. It made for an all around great experience. I was genuinely surprised thatthere were not more people dining than there was because everything was so great. Highly recommend!"

"We came for dinner around 4:30. It wasn't busy. The outside of the restaurant made us question if it was still in business?no signage of the building itself. But when you walk in it?s clean and nicely put together! Staff are so very professional, too. Igot the sausage and pulled pork. Hubs got brisket and turkey. We shared the meats and we both really liked the sausage (a littlespicy with bold flavor) and the brisket (just enough marbling to give it nice flavor). Neither of us liked the pulled pork?afirst for us. Can?t really put a finger on it, but it was kind of mushy? The big pieces were fine, but the smaller pieces justhad a weird mouth-feel. Maybe they used something besides a pork shoulder? I don?t know, but we didn?t like it. The turkey wasturkey?would have been better with crispy roasted skin still attached. Our sides were Mac-n-cheese and beans?both average. Whenwe walked in, we wanted to love this place, but it fell short with the food."

"Located in a nice shopping center right off of 1488, and next to Xscape movie theater. Went in for lunch; around 1300, the place wasn't busy at all, only a few people in watching the baseball game. This place has plenty of seating inside and out. Customer service was good. The food is decent, your pretty much ordering bar food in a way. The burger that I ordered is good for the price, but you can tell the patty itself came frozen and most likely the shredded pork as well. The beer is great, can't complain to much about beer, they have a wide variety of choices to choose from. UPDATE: So I am not sure when they started doing Trivia Night on Tuesday's, but it was AWESOME!! It just made the atmosphere that much better. Chaz from The Adventure Begins Comics, from next door is always a great host!"

"What a wonderful surprise to find this truly authentic Mexican restaurant. Each dish was uniquely different and full of Mexican flavors. The beef/chicken tequila platter was fantastic!! The variety of onions and bell peppers brought out the flavors of this dish. The meats were juicy and tender! The combination plate included pork tamale, chicken enchilada in red salsa, and crispy beef taco. The pork tamale was delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chicken enchilada was amazing with the rich taste of tomatoes salsa. The crisy beef taco was very good. The red enchiladas were very good. The sauce was delicious and homemade. Very pleased. We will be back!"

"Marsala's Italian Grill Located off of Gladstel in Conroe 9/10 Marsala's is truly a hidden gem in Conroe, tucked away behind a car dealership and a gas station. It serves some of the finest Italian food in the area. Let's start with the bread: a delicious, sinewy, chewy, buttered bread served immediately after you're seated. This isn't the typical afterthought bread you get while waiting—it's thoughtfully prepared and a great start to the meal. Entree: I had the Magnifico , an 8 ounce tenderloin in a red wine reduction with mushrooms, cooked to a perfect medium rare. It was wonderfully prepared and packed with flavor. The sides included mixed vegetables and a cup of creamy tomato soup. The soup was silky and well balanced. Desserts: Death by Chocolate : A brownie topped with a rich chocolate mousse. The portion was generous, and it definitely lives up to its name . Crème Brûlée : A deliciously executed brûlée that was my favorite of the desserts. Carrot Cake : Moist, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Marsala's also offers a modest selection of wines and beers, along with some wine based frozen margaritas. An extremely enjoyable visit, the kind that makes you want to come back again."

"As a regular at the Woodlands location, I must say that the food is absolutely fantastic, but the service leaves much to be desired. Only half of our order was delivered, and I had to make two trips to the front to get the rest, including my mimosas flight, which I only received after I had already finished half my meal. I ended up sitting at the bar waiting while my food went cold because the staff claimed they were busy when I arrived at 11:30 AM, even though there was just one couple ahead of me and no one behind, with about three-quarters of the dining room completely empty. I've been there on Mother's Day, and that was truly busy. It would make more sense to offer traditional mimosas flights like the other location instead of blending the frozen ones if they can't keep up with the brunch demand."

"This place reminds me a lot of Miss Shirley’s in Maryland. It has a fun, creative, and tasty vibe, with some cool kosher options! Everything was delicious! Next time, I’ll definitely ask for extra green onions in the potato hash casserole. The service was also excellent and very friendly! I’m moving to the area soon and I will definitely be returning."

"This is my second visit to Fabulous Pho. The first visit we did takeout which was delicious! So delicious we decided to stop in for lunch two days later. The staff is friendly, they're very familiar with the menu. This dining area and restrooms are very clean. So far we've ordered the chicken, pho, wonton soup, chargrilled beef Banh Mi sandwich, small order of the shrimp fried rice (which is large enough for 2 people), shrimp puffs-which are very similar to crab raccoons, and the House lemonade. So far we LOVE everything we ordered. I didn't try the chicken pho, but my husband said it's delicious. The portions here are very filling! I don't recommend ordering a glass of water. It's taste a like sink water. I look forward to coming here frequently."

"Jaeden is an exceptional server and one of the best I’ve had in all my years of dining. I took my godson to dinner before he left the city to begin his senior year of college. Jaeden made our experience one to remember (my godson will always remember it). Jaeden’s attentiveness to our needs, attention to detail, kindness, and amazing sense of humor made the exceptional food taste even better. I will make it a point to visit The Woodlands location in the very near future."

"As farmers across the Corn Belt face increasing attention on mycotoxins and ear molds affecting corn crops, a recent gathering at a soil fertility meeting highlighted these pressing issues. During the event, a hog producer became particularly alert when discussions of ear molds arose, especially since some of his hogs had been rejecting feed. This scenario underscores the importance of awareness in agriculture – a lesson that could also unfold if grain elevators refuse to accept loads due to high mycotoxin levels. In recent years, growers in Michigan have begun to recognize the risks associated with ear molds and mycotoxins, with Ohio joining the conversation as weather conditions in these regions have proven favorable for mold proliferation. Unfortunately, these concerns are now spreading westward, prompting further investigation into the extent of the problem. Dan Quinn, a corn specialist at Purdue Extension in Indiana, expressed the need to gauge how many farmers are experiencing issues with these molds. He, along with Purdue plant pathologist Darcy Telenko and support from the Indiana Corn Marketing Council, has initiated a free mycotoxin sampling program for Indiana farmers this fall. Quinn explains, "We want to establish a baseline to understand the scope of the problem and identify areas particularly affected by certain molds or mycotoxins.” Farmers are encouraged to contribute to the sampling effort by submitting grain samples this fall, which will help build a better understanding of mycotoxin prevalence in Indiana. Key questions remain: Where do these substances appear most frequently, and do certain areas report higher occurrences than others? This initiative promises to provide valuable insights into the challenges faced by corn producers in the region."

"We 've been wanting to try this place for years and finally made time for Mother 's Day. The staff were pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The prices seemed fair for the large portions. The food was very good. The fried shrimp, country fries, tots, greenbeans, fried okra, and shrimp tacos all received great reviews at our table. The fried oysters, chicken fried steak, and froglegs were all considered okay . The frog legs could use a little more spice in the breading but they definitely aren 't bad. Most of us will return again to try more items on their menu."

"Had the Carmel cheesecake last night and was very good. We love the food but last night on 9/6 my husband got parmasan chicken and paste and he's been sick sick 5 this morning. The only thing different was the chicken everything else we both had and I'm fine. Just wondering if anyone else got the chicken last night and got sick. We eat here alot and never had any problems. Thanks"

"My wife and I dine here at least once a month. On our last visit this week, we were pleased to see the recently completed renovation. Very nice! We always ask for Jay. "The one hiccup we've experienced was with the grilled chicken wings. They were perfectly cooked, juicy, and had a nice crunchy exterior but were served without any hot sauce, leaving them rather bland. When we asked for hot sauce, the waitress acknowledged that it's a common request. Ten minutes later, she returned with a fantastic buffalo sauce made of 50% butter and 50% Frank's hot sauce. Once we dressed the wings in this sauce, they became absolutely delicious, especially when dipped in the blue cheese that accompanied the original order. The restaurant features a great indoor/outdoor patio, making it a delightful spot on nice days, while the interior has a cozy, dark wood club-like feel. So far, we’ve had nothing but cheerful and attentive waitstaff, which is becoming increasingly rare these days. All in all, this is an excellent restaurant, definitely worth visiting regularly for lunch or dinner."

"I had heard wonderful things and read excellent reviews for quite some time before we finally decided to visit. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff greeted us or acknowledged our presence, which made us feel welcome. The portion sizes are generous, the food is served hot and delicious, and the staff is fantastic. It’s a lively place worth checking out. We will definitely return to explore more of the menu. During our visit, we enjoyed two servings of chips with salsa and queso blanco, a cheeseburger, onion rings, a taco salad with flavorful beans and fluffy rice, a kids' breakfast plate featuring bacon, extra bacon instead of an egg, and two (not-so) mini pancakes. I can't wait to go back for more!"

"My husband brought me here and I love it! The food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly when we went, they had a sign that they said where short staff and we still get our food quickly. This place is always a way for my husband and me. And I can also tell from the owner answers to all reviews that they maintain for their workers and I absolutely love that. Good work!"

"The Sliced Beef Sandwich had a generous portion of tender, pleasantly smokey, flavorful Brisket with onion and pickle slices. The Sausage Sandwich was peppery and moderately spicy with a nice smokiness on the house made Sausage. Their BBQ sauce is sweet, vinegary and thick and goes well with their meats. The Onion Rings were thin-sliced, crisply battered and not greasy at all. The feel of the place is that of the classic, East Texas, Q joint. The very welcoming staff made our first visit a good one and we WILL be back often."
