"yay! real donuts. was not here in several years, but stopped yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to find it under new own. had a tasty fries and a maple iced. the key why they want to visit this business and others like it is that they are one of the few left who actually freeze their donuts in the house. many places, like dunkin and super market bakeries, get their donuts outsourced and glaz them in the load. they are not real donuts. make you like one and try one of these or some in one of the other few nuts and pop doughnut shops in the city and they will never want to dunkin again."

"We had reservations on Saturday night at 7:15. We arrived on time and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. There are two floors, and we were seated upstairs along the wall with the pew seating. My wife said it was very uncomfortable, while my cushioned chair was very comfortable. Our server was very friendly and explained the menu well, but when she came to take our order, she did what I hate more than anything; saying What are we having tonight? We? I didn 't know she was eating with us. I don 't know if she was trained to say that, or if she just chose that pronoun. But if it is training, that needs to change. We ordered a Tito 's and soda, and an Old Fashioned. Both were very good. We each chose the tasting menu which is VERY reasonably priced. We then could choose a dessert or dessert beverage. We started with the pear salad, which my wife loved, and the rooted skillet, which was a perfect combo of everything I love. We then had the meatballs and the scallop pasta. The meatballs had good flavor, but were very salty. The scallop pasta was very well balanced and our favorite dish of the night. Our mains were the chicken breast, and the baseball steak. The chicken dish was so salty that I even said something to our server. (I tried to eat my leftovers for lunch the next day, but it was still too salty). The steak dish was teetering on the edge of also being too salty. When it came to dessert, we decided to take it home. We were very disappointed that they were out of two of the four desserts. All they had left was the bread pudding stuffed croissant and ice cream. I know a lot of people raved about the croissant, but we thought it was misrepresented by it 's name. All it was was chocolate pudding inside a croissant and then drizzled with caramel. There was no bread pudding at all. For a restaurant that is on Cincinnati Magazine 's top 10 list, I would expect more attention to the details and more consistency in seasoning."

"The bacon cheeseburger I had was delicious. Cooked to perfection. A ton of bacon. They skimped on the fries though. And the bun could be less bready. My friend had the chicken sandwich and spicy fries. He had a lot more fries. But I don't think he likedhis sandwich as much as I liked mine. It's a hamburger joint with donuts. The hot plain donut was amazing. The chocolate donutwas chocolatey. I didn't care that much for the strawberry filled though. The three stars is that the person at the front iswaaaay over worked. She covered the drive thru, walk ins, takeouts, and waitr apps. She delivered food to each diner who dinedin both at the table and counter. There should have been a second server there. She was clearly visibly overwhelmed. I didn'tsee a single help wanted sign. It was a you know what show. So, be patient the burgers and donuts are good."

"For years, I drove past this place without giving it a chance. Bard's is a small and unassuming diner that may look like a greasy spoon, but let me tell you, they have the best burgers in town. Actually, everything on the menu is great! My go-to is the mush-love, a mushroom and swiss burger. The fried pickles and cheese curds are a must-have for the table. And don't forget to grab some fried twinkies and/or fried Oreos to go, for a post-food coma treat. It's definitely worth stopping by! Oh, and they offer a monstrous 11 patty burger called "BARDZILLA" that comes with 2 pounds of fries. I've only seen one ordered and partially eaten, but it was like witnessing a glorious, mythical and greasy unicorn."

"Harvey location: OMg best service food ever. I had the stuffed eggplant stuffed with crab meat shrimp ap of VOOdoo rolls. OMG the best! so much food. I can eat on it 2 more times.Most seafood plates have a little seafood over a pile high fries, NOPE!! about 2 dozen very big shrimp he had with big osyters a few ni ce size filets catfish . Server was there refilling our drinks before they became empty. BTW ppl were waiting out the door when we got there I was told a 20 minute wait but they clean the tables so fast it was only a 10 minute wait. NO complaints at all. I have all good to say I will be back!"

"I've been a patron of this restaurant for the past five years, and it used to be one of my favorites in Covington. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. I was looking forward to introducing my friend to this spot, but her experience fell short. She ordered the turkey and bacon sandwich along with green beans, but after just one bite of each, she didn't seem impressed at all. I suggested she ask for a refund or a different dish, as I’ve had no issues doing this at other places. However, not only did they take her food away, but they also refused to refund her or offer a replacement. Despite having enjoyed their food in the past, I don't think I'll be returning due to their poor customer service."

"The total experience was wonderful. I started with I cup of chicken enchilada soup. It was wonderful. Very tasty. The perfect appetizer. I ordered meatballs and spaghetti. It was more than I expected. A heaping amount of spaghetti with plenty of sauce. Delicious. Better than that was two huge meatballs. Again delicious. What topped off my meal was it was fire hot, and I like my dinner where it hasn't sat under a warming lamp and began to get cold. Great place, great food."

"This was a phenomenal experience! It's in a perfect location, I live minutes away and it's on the best street in Covington.I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted Gyro or the Philly Cheesesteak so... I got BOTH!!Started with the Philly and instantly sunk my teeth into this massive boat sized sandwich. Closed my eyes, opened, and I was in Philly! Just kidding, but the sandwich could of definitely passed as an authentic Philly Cheesesteak.Onto the Gyro w/ Feta Cheese... Speechless once my lips touched the pita... I couldn't put it down! I stopped talking and ate it nonstop till the end! One of the best Gyro's in the NKY and Cincy area! I honestly feel Greek after that Gyro. I even started pronouncing it correctly after this experience.Thank you so much Gyros on Main!"

"I had a negative experience at this restaurant when a blonde woman at the ice cream counter ignored my husband and me to serve a Caucasian man behind us, even though we were right in front of her waiting to order. Another kind gentleman ended up helping us and apologizing, but this incident left a bad impression on me about this establishment. Reading other reviews mentioning similar treatment confirms that this is a recurring issue at this location."

"My first time eating here, it was a good experience. We got 14 half sausage, half sausage pepperoni thin crust pizza. We also got breadsticks and pan sauce and garlic sauce. Me and hubby enjoyed it. I personally am not a fan of thin crust or Chicago style pizza. So next time I think I'll order one of the subs/sandwiches. We also got there 40 minutes before close, ordered after getting our drinks, got our order pretty quickly and ate and still left 3 minutes before close. The server and staff was pretty nice, they didn't have an attitude about us getting there kinda late, so we appreciated it."

"This is a fantastic spot for a Po' Boy! I visited for the first time and made the mistake of ordering a whole shrimp Po' Boy for myself. They're massive! But absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly too. The only downside was the wait time; it took about 20 minutes to get my food after I placed my order at 11 a.m."

"Best burger in NKY. And Best Burger for the price anywhere in the city. A dozen friends of mine and I will not argue this point. Everyone winds up ordering at least a 2nd burger and some have been known to go for a third and a fourth. I don't want to ruin the surprise that is walking in this place without any preconceived expectations other than a damn good burger. "Jersey Mike's is a local favorite of mine. Their subs are amazing. You won't be disappointed! I know the owner of both the Covington location and Maple Valley location. He is a phenomenal guy and the customer service is always on point. My favorite hot sub is the Philly (Mike's Way). As far as cold sub options go, my personal favorite is a #13 the original Italian as seen in the photo. And don't get me started on the bacon and cookies! Vegetarian options: You can make pretty much the entire menu vegetarian. So many options! Dietary restrictions: These guys are always amazing when it comes to dietary restrictions including gluten free, dairy free options and of course vegetarian or vegan options as well. Parking: There is always plenty of parking available in the parking lot. Free if charge. Kid-friendliness: This place loves family and kids. There are always families with children going in and out of here. Wheelchair accessibility: This place is Wheelchair accessible."

"from the outside it doesn 't look like much, could use some fanciness but please give them a shot, you will be so so so glad you did, i 'm amazed. i gotta say this day and age folks just don 't do good Italian, I am pleased to say that these folks know what they are doing. well done! so delicious. glad we had the friends (they are locals) who did recommend them. droolable. so so so good. huge portions, we were shocked over price and the amount you receive. lots of leftovers. the hubs did a calzone special i picked the Greco Roman salad w/ balsamic vinaigrette. i could die now, recalling how good it was. it was a Friday night so the service (wait time) was a bit slow, no worries we had lots to talk about. lots of take out folks while we waited. the appetizer did arrive late after we began our meal. would so recommend to others and hope to return again soon. yum."

"Fantastic! Highly recommended! We tried the filthy fajita,, Karen's BGG, The Bomb, and the Crown jewels tacos. Crown jewels was by far the best! We also had peach bellini Margheritas. I will definitely go again. We had chips and quaso to start, and we each tried two tacos, they were so filling and rich we had to get take home boxes. They also have a card that the waitress places on your table and when you need service you turn it to green and then red when you do.t want to be bothered. Great food, great atmosphere, a must try!"

"Absolutely delicious! I visited this restaurant for dinner on a date night, and I was impressed. The service was outstanding. We dined outside, so I can't comment on the interior, but the ambiance was delightful. I ordered the pistachio-crusted halibut on risotto, and it was some of the best fish I've enjoyed in a long time. The risotto was fantastic, and I'm usually not a fan of it! Don't miss out on the bourbon Pimms; it's exceptional!"

"I love restaurants that have choices for everyone. they had medium, vegan and gluten-free options on your pie in covington, ga. the menu was easy to read and very easy to say which items were vegan. no warning or ask if it's safe. the restaurant was very clean and a great customer service. fast eating and it was hot when it came to the table. they had vegan cheese, vegan sauces and everything. I was very impressed. my daughter is vegan and we are always looking for good restaurants that we can go with her."

"The owners and staff at Fuda were very attentive to the pandemic, which I really appreciated. I always felt safe when getting food there. Similar to most Asian restaurants in the area, there are some dishes that stand out more than others and it's worth trying them out. I particularly enjoy many of the dishes at Fuda, with some of my favorites being the Japanese teriyaki salmon, homestyle bean curd, sushi, and gyoza. My partner loves the chicken and broccoli combo plate and Singapore rice noodles. I'm glad they offer pad thai, although the consistency can vary. The lo mein and egg rolls are decent but nothing exceptional. The baked rice dishes are really good though. Overall, I like the variety on their menu and will continue to try new dishes while sticking to my favorites. I also appreciate their late hours and being open 7 days a week. Thank you, Fuda!"

"I tried this place for the first time a few months ago. Just didn't get a chance to review till now. I still remember my experience and wanted to share.I had the carne asada tacos-the portions were too small for the price, and a bit simple. The margarita was unfortunately really watered down, again for the price charging. My friend noticed the person taking the orders/register had to also serve the drinks(understable if were short staffed) but it was bothersome (and worrisome)to see that they had on really long nails....cutting the lime and mixing the drinks.I really enjoyed the street elotes with mayo, cheese, and tajín...great combo that I plan to return for.Hope this helps."
