Nate is a champion. The staff is great and the food is beyond excellent. Every dish is made with the freshest ingredients. The pretzel is amazing.

Great beer and an AMAZING pretzel with dips. My wife and I shared this one (her hand is pictured for scale) and we loved every bite of it. It was so generously portioned that we decided to skip our actual dinner later that night.

Very small bar... but friendly staffAnd good food! I do recommend. If i could suggest one thing, fried fish during Lent season on Fridays would be nice to see on the menu otherwise your only option is veggie pizza or veggie side dish.,

The food is consistently incredible. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. I've visited multiple times, and I've never had anything less than a fantastic experience. Hidden gem of Covington. neighborhood bar with a dive-bar feel. Nothing fancy, but that's what makes it special. They have a small but tasty menu of German style eats. My favorite go-to is their massive soft pretzel and beer cheese. They do live music some nights as well. Tables big enough for a large group but the bar itself is small.

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday right as they opened. I saw on reddit that they had the best pretzel and beer cheese Wunderbar did not disappoint! (neither did reddit)Ashley, the bartender, was super friendly and helpful with navigating us through the different options, made recommendations, and seemed to know all the right details about each dish.Shoutout to the cook, the food was amazing. Wife said this was the best sausage/kraut she's ever had. The pretzels live up to the hype, and the hamburger was massive. Great flavors, spices, you name it.Awesome vibe, incredible food! We will definitely be back soon!

I've been a patron of this restaurant for the past five years, and it used to be one of my favorites in Covington. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. I was looking forward to introducing my friend to this spot, but her experience fell short. She ordered the turkey and bacon sandwich along with green beans, but after just one bite of each, she didn't seem impressed at all. I suggested she ask for a refund or a different dish, as I’ve had no issues doing this at other places. However, not only did they take her food away, but they also refused to refund her or offer a replacement.
