"I made a reservation for Saturday night and ordered the Pad Se-ew, along with a side of Sweet Sticky Rice and Thai dumplings as an appetizer. It was the best authentic Thai food I’ve ever had, even better than what I experienced during my recent trip to Thailand. I’m not a fan of extremely spicy food, but this meal was just right for me. My friends who enjoy spicy flavors ordered some hotter dishes and were absolutely delighted with them. Another friend, who follows a vegetarian diet, also enjoyed their meal. The host was warm and welcoming, providing excellent recommendations for those unfamiliar with Thai cuisine. The restaurant itself is clean, friendly, and has a wide variety of food options. There’s plenty of parking available and the atmosphere is comfortable. I highly recommend making a reservation for an exceptional dining experience."

"Food was tasteless or just gross, got five apps to share, only decent thing were the wings but still weren?t good. My boyfriend was sick for two days after eating here. Soft drinks had a weird taste to them like they don?t clean their soda guns, overall just a sketchy place to eat would not come back even for a beer. I?ll give a star for service our waitress was nice despite being overworked and basically the only one working that night. I was shocked at the bill considering how bad everything was, we would have been better off going to Applebees"

"Thank goodness the steak and tostones were delicious . That's the 3 stars. Service was crazy. We sat down almost 10 minutes before we had to call the attention of the staff who were walking around us checking on the two other tables who already were drinking and eating. I spoke English. She spoke Spanish to me. But I overheard her later speaking English to someone else. My friend is Latina and so spoke Spanish I thought it was just a language thing but she kept overtalking her when she asked about the different dishes. After ordering, we asked to keep one menu so we keep perusing it while we waited but kept getting asked for the menu like every few minutes. And no the restaurant was not packed. We got more attention to get the menu than we did regarding our order or if we needed anything else. Saving grace, the steak was delicious! The food was good and so was their Maracuya. Unfortunately we felt a weird vibe and couldn't pinpoint it. I am not the kind of diner who is obnoxious or rude. And regardless of seeing other diners getting a level of attention and more comfortable exchanges in conversation. As someone who dines out for the food, atmosphere, and good vibes this was a disappointment. Maybe ya'll will have better service. I'd probably do take out if in the area again but too many other places to visit."

"Perfect place for Dim sum and experience of Chinese food culture! Great for anyone who wants to try something different and fun! Some tips: 1. They don’t have online reservations, so come and have your name sign up in their system first. Usually takes about 30 min. Everyone needs to present to be seated. 2. Waiting area is extremely small. So, go the the Strand bookstore while waiting! 3. Ask for a paper menu, explore and check the food first. This will save you some time later! 4. The chef special is on the blackboard on the left side of the entrance. 5. Their food is prepared fresh daily, cook to order 6. They have vegetarian options. I believe most food is not gluten-free, because of the usage of soy sauce. 7. We, a group of four ordered 80% of the menu, and the price is $110 without tip. We’re pretty full, the price is reasonable. Would recommend to my friends who visit New York."

"Interesting Customer Service After buying some drinks and food, I sat down to eat. I threw out a plate of food onto the overflowing garbage. The woman that worked there asked me to stick my plate inside the empty garbage. Considering the different garbage categories, I thought the request was over-the-top. The micromanagement at this store is enough to make me find another place to dine. In addition, the woman that was cleaning even made a bold attempt to side trip me as I was walking back to the table for my drink. They have an interesting customer service. Be careful!"

"Just three houses off the intersection of New Hyde Park Road and Tulip Avenue is the Starving Artists Cafe. Spring abounds in every cozy corner, and no matter where you gaze there are bunnies, eggs, flowers, and pastel colors. This is such a festive space I felt a little like this must be a set for Alice in Wonderland. Artisan featured works surround you. They have a great menu that includes daily specials, paninis, wraps, flatbreads, burgers, salads, sides, appetizers, soup, and desserts. Today we ordered the Turkey Panini and Cobb Salad. The panini was a good size with turkey, melted Swiss cheese, bacon and ranch dressing. The Cobb salad was large and visually appealing. Sliced avocado, eggs, mixed greens, chopped tomato, red onion and crumbled bacon made this a tasty and filling dish. They also have quite the dessert case, but we had no room to partake this time. They have a monthly Psychic Night that is popular. Next time we are starting with dessert!"

"I went to this bagel shop with my family for the first time. We 'd moved out of town some years back and wanted to bring back some bagels with us on the way home. We ordered our bagels at the counter and I pulled out my card to pay when the cashier promptly said Cash only. I was not aware of this due to there being no type of (visible) sign stating that they only accept cash. I had only brought cards with me. There is an atm inside, but I didnt want to pay the extra fees to use it, so we decided we should leave without purchasing anything.I also noticed that there was no food inspection classification sign for the shop, and it was pretty grimy inside and no effort had been made to make the place inviting for customers: there is no place to sit and eat, for example, and with the exception of a menu board, signage is minimal."

"Stay far away. I ordered online and added a tip. The restaurant called me and asked why I only tipped the amount I put. I have never in my life been asked that and the guy was so incredibly rude. This is in addition to the delivery fees and service fees. I told the guy to cancel my order. He then said no it’s not a problem and I again said cancel my order I do not want the food. Well the food never came but he also did not cancel the order so I was charged for food I never received. I will never order from here and will make sure friends are family don’t either. Way to lose a customer!"

"Stop by here for the first time ever Wednesday night because my dad wanted a burger but I didn't want to get him McDonald's or Burger King. I didn't eat anything myself but he enjoyed his All-American burger with fries, I'll have to visit again to give a better review and maybe another star or two. I did enjoy a nice glass of Bailey's on the rocks, thanks Lee (the bartender). I had been somewhere earlier that night and ordered two which didn't even add up to this one glass. They have a lot of TVs if you're looking to watch a game I can imagine this is a good place to go."

"Delicious donuts! The staff is generally friendly and attentive. The coffee and hot chocolate are expertly made. The location is convenient for the area, and there’s plenty of parking available. They also have a drive-thru, though I haven't had the opportunity to use it during my visits. It would be great if they offered drive-thru service!"

"I ordered the Home Run Pork Curry with extra cabbage $16.95) for delivery.Overall: It is very filling for its price. Definitely worth having with how big their portions are. I liked having the extra cabbage. It was cold and crunchy and was very much needed to balance out the strong salty flavors of the meat and curry. I recommend getting it if you have curry for me, the extra cabbage was free). The pork katsu was not overly seasoned and was the right amount of crispy. When you eat it with the curry sauce, you can taste both the curry and the meat flavor.The curry was unfortunately drier than I expected. When I make curry at home, I enjoy a smooth and saucy curry, but this is a personal texture preference. The texture doesn't detract from the experience and the curry has a good meaty taste. It also had a pleasant heat to it spice fiends will be disappointed).Since the curry was drier, it didn't end up soaking the rice in sauce, so I was still able to enjoy the texture and taste of the rice itself. I feel like I could've done with a little bit more rice for how much curry there is.The shrimp tempura surprised me as it was longer than I expected for a shrimp, but it was also a lot thinner. It definitely was crisped up well. However, because it was bathing in the curry, my shrimp was very mushy and limp. The curry flavor really soaked into it though. The remaining 1 inch of shrimp was crispy.I'm sure your mileage may vary, but for me, my sausage was dry and rubbery, like what you imagine would happen if you left a sausage cooking in a covered barbecue grill for 23 minutes more than you were supposed to."

"I came here for a friends birthday dinner and was disappointed in the choices. The menu does not have many options you would expect from a restaurant that big. There were few categories i.e.shareables, burgers and salad. The chicken nachos seemed to be that canned chicken. The worse offense were the so called cocktails, nooo alcohol. I thought it was just my drink but every member of my part of 5 had a drink and they all said it was either watered down or pure juice. Only reason i gave it a 3 star rating was my salad which was the southwestern salad. But again, just a sald. :"

"Deceived, betrayed, and utterly disappointed that's how I felt when I realized the local pizza place I had ordered from was nothing but a wolf in sheep's clothing. All I wanted was a delicious pizza, but instead, I was served Indian food that I had no craving for. Who in their right mind would claim to be an Italian restaurant and serve Indian food? "I had the worst experience at this restaurant. I couldn't even get a decent cup of coffee without encountering unprofessional behavior. The barista, a man named Bryan, failed to secure the lid on my coffee cup, resulting in hot coffee spilling on my hand and outside my car. This lack of attention to detail is unacceptable. I think it's time for the management to reconsider his position, as he clearly does not meet professional standards. Overall, it was a very disappointing visit."

"I will never go back to this restaurant again. I am willing to drive further just to avoid this place in my town. The last three times we ordered, items were missing and the wrong items were given to us. We received chicken sandwiches instead of burgers and some of our nuggets and fries were missing. Although they have renovated the restaurant, the service is still terrible. It feels like organized chaos inside. Ordering online does not make a difference as you will end up waiting longer than walk-in customers. I highly recommend avoiding this location."

"First off I just want to apologize for not taking a picture of the food. We ordered from Doordash and when it got here it looked so good I was too excited to start eating. I'm a very picky customer when it comes to tacos, especially Al Pastor. I NEVER get tacos unless they're off the cart on Roosevelt Ave in Queens. These were the closest thing to that experience both looks and flavor-wise. The tacos were filled perfectly and had everything I'm used to on top and on the side, a lime and a couple of slices of radish. It was like home to me. The carne asada Nachos were delicious and we finished every single bite. The churros were perfect as well, crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Perfect way to end a weekend. I'll definitely be back for more!!!"

"Food was okay arrived 5:45 had 6:00 reservations..no tables available. There was an empty table being used for supplies... The table was emptied,set and we were seated. party of 2 we both ordered corned beef sandwiches , Guiness and Yuengling on tap. 45 minutes later finally got the sandwiches. I would have walked out but I was with my 91 yr old mom that really wanted her sandwich. We paid in cash. One waitress gave us the bill, another waitress took the bill. The waitress that handed us the bill was looking for the one that took our . At this point, we left. The restaurant was catering to the online orders/take-out orders than to the seated patrons 2 THUMBS DOWN !!!"

"I arrived half an hour before closing time. Among the four people there, three were occupied on their phones and seemed friendly. The fourth person, however, unexpectedly asked me if I was paying with cash or card. I replied that I would be using a card. She grunted and then asked what I wanted. After I told her, she miscalculated the cost by about 20% in her favor and said, “So you only need $X.” I reminded her that I was paying with a card and did not have any cash. She grunted again and asked if I could pay cash. I said I would just go somewhere else. Eventually, she conceded and asked what I wanted. One of the nice kids on their phone then had to show her how to process the card payment. I'm not a fan of people using their "mind tricks" on me. I definitely won't be coming back."
