"I went to this bagel shop with my family for the first time. We 'd moved out of town some years back and wanted to bring back some bagels with us on the way home. We ordered our bagels at the counter and I pulled out my card to pay when the cashier promptly said Cash only. I was not aware of this due to there being no type of (visible) sign stating that they only accept cash. I had only brought cards with me. There is an atm inside, but I didnt want to pay the extra fees to use it, so we decided we should leave without purchasing anything.I also noticed that there was no food inspection classification sign for the shop, and it was pretty grimy inside and no effort had been made to make the place inviting for customers: there is no place to sit and eat, for example, and with the exception of a menu board, signage is minimal."

Another great bagel shop. Most popular in this area of town. They use James Farm butt, which is fantastic.

There French toast bagels are to die for. My friends and I go here a lot after the bars around 2/3 AM because they are 24 hours. I would definitely rather an amazing bagel then any fast food place.

They do have fresh bagels and their sandwiches are pretty good too. But for some reasons they don't accept any type of card payments. It's very weird that they don't even put a sign says cash only. I think they just want us to use the ATM inside the store.?

"Come back to your roots and enjoy a taste of your childhood! These bagels are shipped all over New York. If you're in the area, definitely stop by! Grab a breakfast sandwich and pick up a few dozens of bagels along with some tubs of cream cheese for everyone to enjoy. What do you think?"

Freshest Bagels and Cream Cheese on Long Island. They also have Muffins, pastry, Egg-sandwiches coffee. No onsight eating, all to go. Reasonably priced. Gets somewhat busy on weekends, so go early for the best selection. I believe cash only, but they have an ATM on premise. On street parking. Easy access from everywhere. View menu

Today is June 17th. Last night, I bought four bagels: one French toast, two mini bagels, and one that was supposed to be cinnamon raisin, but I received blueberry instead. This morning, I went to eat the French toast bagel, and for the first time in all my years of dining there, it was hard and dry. I actually started choking on it, but thankfully, my girlfriend helped get it out of my throat.

Looking for a bagel? Of course you are! And now you know just where to find one! A&S is a Long Island favorite, and for good reason. If you're craving fresh bagels any time of day, this is the spot for you. They provide numerous local businesses with their perfectly crafted, chewy bagels, so why not go straight to the source? Remember to bring cash, and you'll walk away with bagels—it's that easy!

"'FRESHER IS ALWAYS BETTER! Prince Umberto Pizzeria Restaurant 721 Franklin Ave, Franklin Square, NY 11010 Today 10/26/2023, I took my Honey for lunch for the first time to Prince Umberto 's in Franklin Square, NY. We both love good home made Italian food. I read some nice reviews, checked out their menu online and saw items we both like to eat, so to not far away Franklin Square we went! It was about 2;30 pm when we got there, the pizzeria side was busy but the dinning area side was wasn 't busy at all, and that 's exactly where we wanted to go. Our waiter and server Johnathan greeted us and sat us at a nice comfortable table. I ordered something for my Honey and I to drink, nothing with alcohol, while we looked over the menu. I told Johnathan we were going to first try a few appetizers, and after that, if we were still hungry we would order something else. I asked Johnathan, please, DO NOT bring us all the food at once, as so many other restaurants seem to want to do! All that food at once just overwhelms you, plus sitting there, the food just gets cold before you get to eat it. Johnathan said, not a problem, tell me what to bring you, and I will bring it when you tell me, YES! We started off first with Littleneck Clams on the half shell, then we had whole backed clams that were just made, nice and piping hot, and so, so, delicious. Next we enjoyed a nice size pot of mussels cooked with white wine and garlic, Johnathan brought us their just baked HOT pizza dough bread with butter on the side, it was excellent especially when we were dunking the bread into the mussel juice! After that my Honey and I had to try their Trippa Napoletana, we both love tripe! This tripe with the sauce made at Prince Umbertos was so good, my Honey had to take some home! It had no potatoes, no peas, just tender cooked tripe in a delicious mild sauce, which I was also enjoying on the hot pizza dough bread too. Just delicious. Wow! While were eating, the owner, and the chef came over to us a couple of times to ask if everything was okay and to our liking, and if we needed anything else, which was very nice of them to do. We now were both pretty full, but I had to check out their dessert menu first, before we left. I spotted their Italian ice cream Tartufo, and my Honey spotted the Tiramisu. We suddenly found a little space to tackle dessert, OMG! They both were so yummy! Now as far as prices go in this day and age of high prices, this restaurant has very, very, fair prices for quality fresh food! And I might add, this is one of the very few restaurants that is not charging any extra fee for using your credit card, I hope they can continue doing that, we shall see? We shall return for sure. Their food was so good, and freshly cooked to order, just as if we were home, it was a delight to go to Prince Umberto 's in Franklin Square today! Johnathan did an excellent job taking good care of us. And if I am going write an honest review, which I am, I have one wish, we both love clams on the half shell, ice cold. The clams on the half shell we had today were really fresh, but they were room temperature and not cold at all? I wish they can serve them ice cold, the next time we come. All in all, Prince Umberto 's still gets 5 stars! One tip for all, go for lunch or early dinner, You will have plenty of space in their dining room!"
