"My husband and I decided to give Select a try today for lunch. We found parking nearby and were able to walk to the restaurant easily. I had called ahead to make a reservation, but it was a last minute reservation and we arrived ten minutes after making the phone call. They were able to accommodate us despite this and we were so happy! We were greeted by two friendly and sweet hostesses and were promptly taken to a table. The place was very busy, but we were still seated at a table appropriate for my aging husband who finds high-top tables impossible. So we were glad to have seats at a regular table with a banquette on one side and a chair on the other. I opted for the chair. My husband mentioned the banquette was a little too low for his comfort, but I found the chair just the right height and it was also comfortable. We were seen very quickly by a wonderful waitress who took our drink order and then promptly returned to take our lunch order, which was welcome because we were on a tight time schedule, having a medical appointment immediately after our lunch. The menu was mesmerizing and very difficult for us to make a selection because EVERYTHING sounded great! In addition to regular offerings, on Saturdays, they offer brunch until 2:30pm! The brunch menu sounded fantastic but I really wanted a salad today! I ordered a field greens salad with grilled chicken, blue cheese sprinkles, walnuts, strawberries and a wonderful balsamic dressing. It was a a very large salad, but I loved it and ate nearly every bite. There was a very generous amount of chicken on top and it was marinated and flavorful without being spicy, something I dislike. My husband ordered a chicken salad sandwich with house-made waffle chips that were out of this world. The sandwich was delicious, well presented with crunchy crisp lettuce and tomato and it was yummy. It was also large enough to take half home and later on, for dinner, we split that half and it was just as good and enough for us to feel satisfied. Our requests for extra ice, paper napkin (I wanted to take a piece of chicken home to my Chihuahua! , drink refills, our checkwere met politely and promptly. All in all we had a wonderful experience today and we definitely want to return to try the brunch offerings and perhaps a dinner entree at some point because they too sounded great. One thing I want to say about my salad today is this: Often when I have received my order of a salad in the past at other restaurants, the lettuce is often tired, worn-looking, maybe even has some unsightly brown edges. THIS salad was fresh, crisp and utterly delightful, presented beautifully on the plate, too, something I appreciate when I dine out. Yum, yum, yummy! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"We visited some friends and they brought us yo this gem of a restaurant. We started off with some drinks from the bar. The waiter was also doing some bartending and made a special request of a peach martini and my friend a pineapple martini. We enjoyed the conversation and ambiance while we went over the menu and listened to the specials. We started off with the special of the evening tots appetizer and warm cheese. They were both very tasty. We placed our main course order as we continued to enjoy the appetizers. I ordered my Filet Medium Rare plus...as per their cooking my typical Medium Rare was to little and Medium was too much...but the Medium Rare Plus was absolutely perfect! We tried a few dipping sauces. It was fun to try the different flavors. My friend got the salmon and her Hubby got the special of Filet with Crab meat and Shrimp. We were so stuffed we did not get dessert. This was an exceptional meal. If in the area a must eat at location."

"Whenever we dine at Cannons for our work lunches, we always have a fantastic experience. We are regular patrons here and appreciate the quick service and delicious food. The staff is always friendly, making us feel comfortable as soon as we sit down. There are plenty of lunch options to choose from, ensuring a satisfying meal every time."

"Very basic, bordering on bland Italian food. Nothing special. Be prepared for gas station pricing if you don't pay cash since they add a bizarre non-cash fee if you pay by credit card. This kind of gas station pricing seems out of place at a restaurant where a couple can easily have a $200+ tab. I was also surprised that we had to pay $6 for a very basic loaf of bread. I don't understand the nickel and diming when our entrees were nearly $40 each and were honestly nothing special. It's hard to recommend this place where there are far better restaurants in the area. "We drove two hours for my husband's birthday brunch on Sunday. We had hoped to sit outdoors and watch the freighters go by. The outdoor patio was closed and that was sad since it was such a lovely day. This was not mentioned on their website. Our server, Tony was personable and perfect. He was the best thing about our dining experience. We won't be going back since the food was just fair and a disappointment. There were several choices but the fish was mushy, the beef and peppers were chewy, the eggs Benedict were overcooked, the bacon was too salty. The desserts were substandard. The peach cobbler was made with canned peaches, the eclairs and strudel were still frozen. My husband did like the waffles, roast beef, ham and breakfast sausages. Others had told us the food wasn't that great but we wanted to dine outdoors so we took a chance. We should have listened to our friends and family."

"We have always loved going here but the last 2 visits were terrible. Tonight we gave it another shot, never again. So disappointing when your staff can run customers away. Had to constantly ask other waitresses for refills, more condiments and to-go boxes not to mention we sat for almost 40 minutes before our order was taken and another 30 minutes before our food came. I honestly would get takeout from y’all but not taking a chance in having a sit down experience here again. It’s sad because y’all’s environment is great."

"I 've eaten there for years and yesterday ate lunch there once again. Within 2 hours I had the most debilitating stomach cramps vomiting. All I ate was the fried chicken, corn on the cob and sweet tea. When getting my food I had to wait for the chicken to Finnish cooking . The cook quoted 5 min wait time but less than 2 minutes later it was on the buffet line. The chicken tasted fine but was a bit on the slightly pink side. I complained ed to one of the cooks and was told it was fine. I tried calling the store after I got sick. My call was answered and hung up on twice, I was left holding for 37 minutes once, and I left a message for a manager to call me back. I never heard from anyone. They have lost my business for sure and not because of the food but because of the poor customer service."

"We visited the Verdae location and had an outstanding experience. The service was excellent. My sashimi was absolutely delicious. A friend of mine ordered the beef noodles, which looked incredibly fresh and well-prepared. I decided to place a takeout order, and I was not disappointed. I will definitely be returning as a regular customer. I highly recommend everyone give it a try. I truly love this place!"

"Wow, that was my first time at this restaurant, but it certainly won't be my last. My wife and I shared three crepes and were pleasantly full. Some might think I am writing this review because of the food high, but I have no regrets. I ordered the breakfast crepe with scrambled eggs, sausage, and feta and it was out of this world. What is in that amazing sauce? My wife had the Namaste crepe and was amazed by the abundance of fresh, ripe fruits! We ended our meal with a lemon cream dessert and two perfect cappuccinos, which were just as fantastic as the rest of the meal. I don't usually write reviews, but the staff was so friendly that I felt I had to say something. I can't wait to return. I would have taken a picture, but the food didn't last long enough. Cheers."

"This was the whitest food I have ever eaten. There wasn't even salt on the fries. I wasn't asking for Columbus's route to the West Indies. All I wanted was flavor. Instead I got damp potatoes that still tasted of Idaho (and not in the family friendly way). Not to mention the burger should not have been 90% mayonnaise. It is disgraceful that a cow had to lose its very life for this quarter pound of mayonnaise and plastic lettuce served on a thin, soggy bun. My only solace is that the cow was probably from a meat farm and was put out of its misery. Needless to say, this was a huge let down. American comfort food is meant to bring me comfort, not indigestion and a profound sadness. Would not recommend unless your taste buds had been burned off in a horrific chemical accident."

"We’ve eaten often at A&P for a long time, and I know that sometimes things do happen, but last few times we e eaten there. Food hasn’t agreed with us and I got sick off the chicken. And the last time I had a baked potato that had a very large hard something in my potato. My husband took it back and got another one and had no problem. But we won’t be eating there anymore. Let me say that this is in no way wanting this to keep others from going there, but we will not!"

"I visited Shiloh's Sensual Sandwich Emporium for lunch on a Sunday around 12:30 PM and placed an online order. When I arrived to pick up my food, there were about 10 other customers in the restaurant. Although I was told to expect a 45-minute wait, it ended up taking much longer. When I inquired about the status of my order, the general manager unexpectedly confronted me and physically attacked me with a baseball bat, insisting that I be patient. After this alarming experience, my order was finally ready. Despite the disturbing incident, I have to say that the sandwich I ordered was truly delicious. I would still recommend Shiloh's Sensual Sandwich Emporium, but I suggest going with caution. Thank you for your understanding."

"Saw this place on Yelp and wanted to give it a try. Man, are we glad we did. I couldn't get over the Saturday night special. The NY strip and 2 sides for 9.50. I know it used to be 8 something from other reviews. Still a great deal. Service was great and very friendly. Food came out lightning fast. The steak melted in my mouth and the potato was nice and soft. Really, for the money you absolutely can't beat this restaurant. This restaurant has stood the test of time and isn't trendy or fashionable but is just what the doctor ordered. Great food at a great price. We will be back for sure."

"By far, this is our favorite restaurant! The staff knows us well and addresses us by name, making us feel like guests in their home. Carrie and Josh have an intuitive sense for suggesting beers based on our past visits and preferences. The food is exceptional, from the uniquely crafted beer pairing dinners to the everyday menu items; it keeps us coming back for more! Burger Night truly lives up to the hype! Which other restaurant refreshes their menu every six weeks? We are so grateful that we don’t have to drive to Greenville for a fantastic meal in a place where everyone knows us by name. The Southern Growl is quickly becoming the ‘not-so-hidden’ gem of Greer!"

"Unfortunately, this is the one wedding vendor that I will NOT be recommending. We paid for enough for for more than were at our wedding and still ran out with about 20 people not fed. That is unacceptable considering how much we paid. I expected a lot more from the team and Laurendas and entrusted my wedding day food in their hands, biggest mistake looking back. We paid for a buffet style (recommended by them with beef tenderloin, shrimp and grits, 3 sides and a salad. I was told after that self serve is “risky” and that my guests we’re getting “more than normal” and that is why we ran out. So be careful when you go with their recommended buffet style and make sure people are allowed to have more than 2 shrimp for $43 a person. The staff was pretty young and not the most experienced in my opinion. If people were supposed only have two shrimp then they should have told me and I would have paid for more or they could’ve served it so at least everyone could’ve had some. They did bring in some chicken tenders towards the end to try to make up for it, better than nothing but not what I paid for. I was told over and over again that there would be plenty of food and leftovers so I thought planning for a just few more guests than we had was overkill, but I was wrong! The food still tasted good from my perspective (wish everyone could’ve tried it so that is why I am throwing in a couple stars. A couple of other things to note: if they do your wedding the day after another one at the same venue ask for new table cloths on the food tables if it’s prom season you may need to specify that you would not like people there taking prom photos less than an hour before you walk down the aisle :"

"The store was quite nice and well-maintained, offering a welcoming environment with a variety of small pop-up options, ranging from fresh to frozen foods. They even provided a selection of hot dishes accompanied by several sides. However, the area designated for hot food was poorly lit, making it difficult to assess the quality of the offerings. When I ordered two takeout boxes, I was disappointed to find that the chicken was dry, the carrots were overcooked, the macaroni and cheese had a rubbery texture, and the okra tasted stale. The food was hardly edible and certainly not enjoyable. I won’t be ordering hot food from here again."
