"Usually things are great here. Unfortunately this evening, we ended up with service that was probably the worst I 've had anywhere in a long time. Don 't get me wrong, aside from not having a few things I tried to order, the food I got was excellent as always. The appetizers came out quickly and everything looked to that point as if it was going to be a great visit, like many others we 've had in the past. Unfortunately, it was not.It wasn 't a busy evening there, maybe a dozen or so other tables besides ourselves. The main course came out partially and before we could say anything to the waitress, she vanished without a word to chat with the many other young ladies that were working. I had to flag down another waitress to get the salad that had been forgotten. I tried several times to get the attention of our waitress as she zipped around from the front counter with the other ladies to disappearing around the corner from where we were seated. My fiancee and I had both finished off our milkshakes by this point and we were hoping to get sodas to finish our meal with. We gave up after 3 attempts. The ketchup was empty at our table. I decided to just grab another off of the table next to us. I don 't know if she saw me do this or not but she showed up right afterwards. My fiancee and I were already discussing the service to this point when our waitress showed up. Sadly, we forgot to mention the drinks while we had her attention. I felt like she saw me, so I mentioned the empty ketchup and that I had grabbed the one from the next table over. She then took the empty bottle and a few plates away. We finished the meal and couldn 't wait to take off for home. After the seasoned fries, I needed a beverage badly and didn 't want to have to sit there much longer. I asked for the check and even that was screwy. She said hold on, this one doesn 't charge for the salad. I went to tell her that the salad was instead of fries and she had already started walking away. She came back to say just that same thing about 5 mins later. We got the check, gathered our stuff and paid at the counter. I had to bite my tongue when she asked how everything was. I just wanted to go, I had enough disappointment for one visit. If I come back in the future, and she 's the waitress, I 'll not be staying."

"The food is lackluster with a menu thats rather seemingly incoherent. Its seemingly trying to be pub bistro but missing certain theme. The burgers are good though and the sides if they made em just a touch more unique would be awesome. The beer especially the scotch ale is where this place is a shining den of awesome. This place is best experienced on trivia night with friends, getting a burger and try some pints if there exquisite beer. Everything else on the menu to me is just meh, haven't enjoyed the other sandwhiches, the fish is meh, and the other dinner options are not as great flavor wise as other restaurants in town.

"A Culinary Paradise with Stellar Service—English Pub and Sushi Haven All in One! I recently had the distinct pleasure of dining at My Father's Moustache in Mount Pleasant, SC, and it was nothing short of a culinary and social extravaganza. This is not just an English pub; it's a fusion experience that offers authentic English dishes and a surprisingly rich sushi menu. From the get-go, the atmosphere exudes warmth and comfort—perfect for live broadcasts of Premier League and Champions League soccer matches. A special shoutout goes to Brad, the bar manager, who was amazing, funny, inviting, and intelligent. His magnetic personality and attention to detail enhanced our overall experience, making us feel not just as customers but as part of a community. For my meal, I couldn't resist the Club Sandwich—a triple-decker marvel that was incredibly satisfying. To put the cherry on top, they offer HP sauce as an optional condiment for your French fries, making it a rare find for those of us who appreciate this English staple. Let's not forget their Happy Hour. Running from 4-7pm, Monday to Friday, it's an exceptional deal and a great opportunity to unwind after work. And though I didn't have the sushi this time, it's available six days a week, highlighting the establishment's commitment to a diverse menu. To sum it up, My Father's Moustache is an extraordinary venue offering a blend of English authenticity and culinary diversity. Whether you're after a traditional pub experience, sushi cravings, or just a great time watching soccer and interacting with phenomenal staff like Brad, this spot in Mount Pleasant delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!"

"I went inside to speak with the woman at the counter, explaining that I received the wrong order. She told me she would consult the manager. After waiting for another 15 minutes without a word, the manager finally approached me. I explained the situation: my daughter picked up an order because they couldn't find mine. I showed her my phone with the large order confirmation. Without addressing my concerns, she retraced her steps to the back and returned with my actual order, which was indeed there all along. I expressed my surprise, thinking they had to remake it. However, she responded, “I don’t understand why you had an attitude with me; I never said anything to you.” I was taken aback, wondering when I had shown any attitude. I had waited patiently for 15 minutes without raising my voice or using any foul language. She dismissed me with a cheerful, “Have a good day!” and “Bye bye!” I left, frustrated and confused, not wanting to cause a scene. I usually support employees in customer service, but this experience was unnecessary and upsetting. This was my first visit inside the restaurant, and it will definitely be my last. I was very disappointed in the manager's behavior. If this is how they handle mistakes and miscommunications, I pity the customers. Management needs to do better. By the way, they also forgot my chips and queso, but it wasn't worth going back for that!"
