On that day, the fountain water was trickling slowly, so we found it easier to ask the staff to fill a cup for us from behind the counter, where the service was excellent. Both the bathroom and dining area were spotless. My husband particularly enjoyed the green beans, which were cooked with ham. They did mix up our sides or our main platter, but it wasn't a big deal. However, I found the fries and the fried fish to be rather unimpressive. Overall, it was the hushpuppies and crab cakes that truly stood out for me."
