"Today, my family and I had an amazing lunch experience. The staff member who greeted us, despite having three small children with us, was extremely welcoming, friendly, and efficient. We ordered garlic knots, a large pizza, and two different flavors of chicken wings. The marinara sauce was excellent! We were pleasantly surprised by the size and taste of the wings (the goat sauce was particularly delicious) and the high quality of the food considering the reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this restaurant to other families and individuals looking for a simple and casual lunch option."

"Unfortunately, the dining area was not clean, and it appeared as if it hadn't been wiped down in a long time. The table next to us had old cheese stuck to the floor, suggesting it had been there since the previous day. The staff member at the front seemed more focused on preparing pizza boxes than maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant. Everything—from the drink station to the tables and floors—needed a good cleaning. I believe they might be losing customers due to the lack of cleanliness, which is unfortunate because the food was quite decent, and the location is great. The management really needs to step up and address these issues with their staff. After all, in the post-COVID era, we all know that every customer counts and no one can afford to lose business."

"I usually don’t dine out or order takeout, and I typically only stop by fast food places to pick up orders. However, one day I decided to give Paisano's in Alexandria a try since I didn’t feel like cooking when I got home. I've picked up orders at other locations before, but none made me feel as welcomed as the one on Fordson Rd. I thought no one could make lasagna quite like I do, but after trying theirs, I have to admit that it’s really exceptional—better than my own! I’ve gone back three times in less than a month because it’s that good. I also want to mention that the young staff members there are very respectful. As a senior, it’s nice to see that some young people still have good manners."

"I ordered a calzone through their website, which was a straightforward process. I appreciated that I could select cash payment at the restaurant, which is a nice rarity. This was my second time trying the Spinach and Ricotta calzone, and it was absolutely delicious. I also got the kids' Cheese Ravioli with meat sauce (I opted for that instead of the regular marinara). It could have used a little more sauce to cover the edges of the ravioli, but overall, it was very tasty, tender, and easy to eat. I would definitely order both again."

"I tried this restaurant for the first time through a door-to-door delivery service. Despite the 45-minute wait, the food arrived warm. My family and I were all satisfied. The Buffalo mild wings with bones were delicious. The spaghetti with meatballs and the steak and cheese sub were also tasty. Compared to another place where we spent a little more money, Paisano definitely left us feeling more satisfied!"

"I ordered a Greek salad and some garlic knots today. The salad was delicious, but the garlic knots were completely burned. There’s no way they should have left the kitchen like that. I called and spoke to David, the manager, about the issue. He provided excellent customer service and ensured that my food was replaced, successfully preventing them from losing me as a customer since I hadn't ordered from them in a while. Great job, David! Thank you once again!"

"Omg! The owner and the staff in this facility were very helpful and friendly. You have helped with last minute dinner cancellations In the local animal shelter many times I cannot remember a day when I had reached the staff or the owner and they had ever refused any help they always donate 100% of meals Thank you! Is only not enough for all the support Paisanos have provided and continues to be vulnerable to the most vulnerable in our community. I will recommend to everyone to go and give them an attempt to support them so that they can continue to support the needs of our community. If you've tried, I suggest you give them a second change. "On this evening, I went to fulfill a request of a void friend who wasn 't feeling well. They 'd ask for a pizza from a known vendor. The location isn 't desirable because at night their is a club that host adult entertainment and it spoils outside. However, Paisanos was open on in my general vicinity. I stopped in and was greeted by the owner. The store was empty, so I asked for a moment to review the menu. I decided on a large pizza with meat toppings, which I was choosing. The owner advised on a meat lover 's because it would be cheaper. I went with his suggestion and ordered a calzone as well. It didn 't take too long, although it felt like an eternity because I was the only person here. When I reverie it and took it to its destination everyone was very surprised at the size and the amount of meat on the pie. However, my calzone was cut like a Stromboli on the top. Anyone who is familiar with a calzone and a Stromboli knows the cure is not on a calzone. This is the only issue I have with Paisanos. But overall, the order was good, and the orbs had flavor. I would definitely go back, but I would have to explain the difference between the calzone and Stromboli being from NYC and eating at pizzerias for most of my life. Parking: The pushing spots are absinthe at the front of the store. Kid-friendliness: Professional and friendly."

"Ordered twice garlic knots from here this week, first time they were over cooked and garlic sauce was tasting terrible, called next day morning they said they issued store credit on my phone number which I tried to used that same day at night and I couldn?t use it, came to the store to pick up a ham calzone I ordered online and spoke with cashier who agreed to replace garlic knots from last night, after telling her to don?t overcooked the knots and to don?t used that same terrible garlic sauce, when I arrived home to eat the food I had the same issue with the garlic knots. I?m very disappointed of this location after trying them for some times with the pizza which I didn?t like it because the cheese taste is very bad, the garlic knots are tasting bad every day. I used to live in NYC and they said they have NY pizza taste but that?s not even close to a cheap NYC pizza taste. I have to said that not all is bad that?s why I don?t give a 1 star review, I have tried ham calzone some times and it?s really good."

"Customer service terrible and rude. Called in my order and drove the 4 miles to go get it (because if you get delivery you get soggy fries). I don’t mind the drive as the food is great.When I get there they just keep looking around for my food and tell me I didn’t make an order. So the other employee (I recognize his voice as the one who took my order over the phone) makes me call to prove I have the correct phone number. I call and it’s correct. Another employee comes over from Handling pizza no mask no gloves and starts punching digits into the screen and says my order isn’t there, but then finds it (then goes back to handling pizzas without washing hands).Then original employee asks me for the payment and I ask is my order ready? He said no we didn’t put it in.I told him I had to get going back to my children’s Halloween activities he said with no emotion well you have to wait until we make it and asks for the payment again.I decided to go without. Mistakes happen I get it but no “sorry for the error” or “we will make that right away for you”. Just some simple courtesy or recognition that a mistake took place.I’ve been coming here for 6 years. Great food. Same telephone number and same name. They said I wasn’t in there system that’s why the order wasn’t placed (despite telling me it would be ready in 15mins and the total amount)Great food. Do better with customer service!"

"On my way to the hotel, I called this Paisanos (since it was the closest and placed an order for a large pie. Mind you it was pouring that day and some roads were flooded. It was practically a ghost town, no one was outside. I had wanted to just run in and get my pizza. Well, when I arrived, the three men behind the counter had no idea that I made an order. They kept looking at each other and saying, “I never spoke to her. She never called in.” Then they had the audacity to say that I lied about calling in an order but they would give me a discount for the trouble. They charged me for a small pie though they would make sure that I got a large. (I let them go on with their theatrics like I couldn’t prove on my phone that I did, which I did do after getting my pizza. They were then apologetic but it was too late. They already soured my experience. If my kids weren’t hungry and it wasn’t raining so hard I’d have went somewhere else. It took less than 10 minutes for them to give me a pie and guess what? It was definitely a small. And not the large they claimed they were going to give me. I didn’t even complain. Not only did I get bad service, but I also got bad food. My kids didn’t like and none of us ate a second slice. Would not recommend."

"They are not a franchise, they are a small family owned tiny store with a lot of punch. They are open until super late (4 am) when everything else is closed, besides, I ordered a four-cheese medium pizza and it was superb, the amount of cheeses, the flavor was delicious, the crust was crunchy and perfectly baked, I have eaten lots of pizzas, theirs is a top one and their price is reasonable I drove to them but apparently their delivery area is huge. So you have great pizza, late at night when the munchies decide to attack, they will bring it to you without paying your left kidney... a winning combination. Besides your cash goes to locals, not a corporation. Stop reading and pick up the phone, what are you waiting? Cheers"
