"As I sipped my coffee, my server kindly stopped by to refill my cup (I really appreciate good coffee and plenty of ice to cool it down!). She later returned with a jar of warmed syrup, which was a much nicer touch than the typical plastic containers, as well as a small bowl of sealed butter.
Then came the grand reveal! The waffle was beautifully presented and piled high with fresh strawberries, which was truly impressive. The only thing I noticed missing was whipped cream. I checked the menu carefully and found no mention of it. I asked the server if there was an extra charge for whipped cream, and she assured me it would be no problem and would be back shortly. She returned with a bowl containing just the right amount of whipped cream for me to use as much as I wanted, and I was in heaven!
This was the best waffle I've had in years! After adding $2.99 for the coffee, tax, and a generous yet reasonable tip, my total came to about $20.00. However, I left feeling completely satisfied. Thank you, Jelly!"
