"I am disappointed to write this review because I have always enjoyed this restaurant. I usually order delivery and frequently get the sesame chicken, but this time it was inedible. The chicken was extremely chewy and stringy. However, the rice and dumplings were as delicious as usual. I am willing to pay for good food, and this restaurant has always been worth it, but I was let down this time."

"Great concept, the lunch box meal, but the devil is in the details. No noodles with the soup-maybe this isn't a thing here?, no hot mustard sauce with the spring roll, a pin drop of wasabi that barely covered one piece of sushi, questionable ginger that I couldn't eat, such low-grade plastic silverware that it failed at its function and no cookie, once again, maybe more Chinese than Japanese, but it's always an appreciated touch. The food quality was decent. The portions were not generous but adequate.The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Service was quick and very friendly. Parking was sketchy in this part of Cohoes. A few glossy and glazed glances from the under-employed loitering about mid-day made me uneasy about leaving my car unattended. This is not the restaurant's issue in any way though."

"This charming little restaurant is nestled in a strip mall near a fitness center and various shops. It stands out for its delicious food and updated interior. There's plenty of parking available in the spacious lot out front. The menu features a wide range of options to please even the pickiest eaters. My husband, who loves General Tso's chicken, always orders that when we go for Chinese. I, on the other hand, am a seafood enthusiast, and the Szechuan Hoisin dish was packed with enough seafood to satisfy me. When our entrees arrived, we were immediately struck by their generous portion sizes and the incredible aromas surrounding them. My husband could hardly wait to dig in, while I marveled at the size of the shrimp and the number of scallops—plus, there was even lobster meat included! We certainly enjoyed every bite of our meals. Thankfully, I managed to save enough for tomorrow's lunch. If you're a fan of Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend giving this place a try!"

"They have become really sub-par even by Fairbanks standards They appear to have at least two problems: first they seem to be a victim of their success. The kitchen team can't keep up with demand leaving the food uncooked, over cooked or just leaving orders unfilled. Second, the Anglo white woman at the register seems to hate the phone and customers. She complains about everyone and generally has a bad attitude. Sadly this is still the best Chinese in Fairbanks. If you must go here, go during off-hours and when the angry hateful white woman is not at the register."

"My husband and I have been dining at Taipei Garden for about a year. I would have loved to give them a five-star rating instead of four, but unfortunately, our order was incorrect this time. When we sat down for dinner at home, we realized that we had received the wrong order—I'm pretty sure they gave us someone else's meal. In terms of quality, their food has consistently deserved five stars. Despite the mix-up, we still return because the meal we received was something we both enjoyed. Moving forward, we will make sure to double-check our order before leaving."

"Called in to place order and was told twenty minutes. Arrived after 20 minutes and food not ready. No big deal, sort of expected. When I was presented with the bill found they had forgotten the egg rolls I had ordered. Ten plus minutes later egg rolls are done with no effort made to make up for my inconvenience. Got home and egg rolls were, of course, hot but all the rest of the food was lukewarm from having to wait for the egg rolls. As for the food-egg rolls were tough, dumplings were good but they never gave us the sauce that usually comes with dumplings, the pork fried rice was mediocre at best (might have been better if it had more than a few small pieces of pork in it) and the boneless BBQ ribs were pretty much tasteless, Very disappointed. Most likely won't be back."

"I was very disappointed with my recent experience. The last few times I've ordered from this restaurant, the fried rice has been crunchy, and I've had to steam it myself just to soften it up. This time, I have to say the rice was much better, but the shrimp and lobster sauce was watery, the shrimp toast was burnt, and the crawfish egg roll had an overpowering fishy taste. I opted not to eat it because I was worried it might make me sick. I'm not sure if I should stick to the "three strikes and you're out" rule or give them one more chance. It's unfortunate because they're so close to my home and used to be so good."

"A friend and I live an hour apart and randomly chose this place to meet, eat, and catch up. I don 't have a single negative thing to say about this restaurant. The customer service was excellent, the food was delicious (I had chicken broccoli combo w/brown sauce, white rice [which was tender and not hard like some places], and a spring roll), and the prices are affordable. Even though everyone 's taste in atmosphere is subjective, I think this place is adorable; it was so comfortable and cozy. I wish I lived closer because I would absolutely become a regular here! Apparently they have a lot of regulars, because I sat near the door and they seemed to know half the people who came in for carry-out while I was there."

"A-Mandarin Restaurant is my favorite Chinese take-out style restaurant in the area. While it may not be as fancy or authentic as Chinese cuisine in China, it does a great job at serving up delicious and authentic dishes for American and Chinese American tastes. "I would not recommend this restaurant. While the food was decent and the service excellent, I encountered a major issue during my takeout meal. About halfway through my Mongolian beef and fried shrimp combo, I bit down on something extremely hard. Upon closer inspection, I discovered it was a small rock. At first, I thought it might just be an unground peppercorn, but it wasn’t. After further digging with a fork, I found ANOTHER rock. This is absolutely unacceptable. I didn’t notice this problem until I got home with my takeout, which made it even more frustrating. How does not just one, but two rocks end up in food? I was genuinely disappointed because the food tasted good and the service was high-quality, but none of that is worth the risk of chipping a tooth. This experience completely ruined my appetite. I will be seeking a refund, and I’m just thankful I didn’t bite down too hard and crack a molar."

"Lack of customer service, flavor and any sense of what Chinese food is. Every dish ordered tastes like washed out vegetables. They 're kung pow chicken consists of a raw Mire poix and mixed nuts with a soy sauce packet. Sechuan chicken was undercooked with a bland array of undercooked veggies. And the egg roll was a crisp egg roll with cold cabbage in the middle. No sauces or cutlery added to bag to atleast mask the lack of skill in kitchen and upon return for exchange or refund you will be greeted with a strong NO. Won 't be back, ever. Don 't get me started on the yellow rice aka fried riced"

"Decided to try something here and it was of good quality, the food was freshly made, good portions, standard price, the people there are kind, although it might take a bit for your order to be ready depending on how busy it is. I didn't mind the waitbecause this seems to be a small family run establishment. I definitely recommend trying something off their more traditionalChinese inspired menu instead of the run of the mill American Chinese stuff.
