"This was our first time ordering from this restaurant, and we are thrilled that we did. The prices are exceptional, and the quality of the food is incredibly fresh and tasty. As devoted sushi lovers, we found the portions to be generous—the special sushi rolls were packed, and the fish inside was tender and flavorful. "we live in the opposite of nashville and go to the inner city for concerts at bridgestone, symphony concerts and preds hockey games. about the only sushi we're on the way is the kroger. I grew up on sushi in la, a sushi bar every corner, we don't love meeban because of its position on the 2nd avenue, we love it because it has damn good sushi. I can't tell them about the menu items, we never order them, but I can tell them that sushi is always fresh and tastes like it. therefore I give them 5 stars. service is great, saki is great, beer is cold, and the sushi will not disappoint them."

"I usually try to visit a restaurant more than once before writing a review, but my recent dinner experience was so enjoyable that I felt it deserved recognition. Although we don’t eat sushi, we were thrilled with the extensive menu offering a variety of different options. I ordered the beef teriyaki, while my husband opted for the chicken. Each entree came with a side salad and miso soup, which was served before our main dishes. The food was fresh and clearly made in-house. My husband chose a "watermelon smoothie," and based on the photo, we realized it wouldn't be a creamy smoothie but more of an icy slush, which it turned out to be. It was sweet and tasted very fresh, without any artificial flavors. Our server was attentive and friendly, and as we left, the entire staff took a moment to thank us."

"I have eaten here since they opened in McCalla and never had an issue until today. The guy at the counter was asked to take our order. As I stand waiting to order, he never acknowledged me and started talking to the gentleman behind me. I continue to wait and finally asked him was he ready to take my order since he was not going to acknowledge my presence. Needless to say I walked out because I want patronize any business who treats me with the dignity and respect I deserve as a customer. We went to Takoyaki and received phenomenal service as always. I will not be back to Ninja"

"Super casual sushi spot that won’t make your wallet cry. The food options and quality aren’t the best but hard to argue given the price tag. The lettuce included with soft shell crab wasn’t fresh; both color and flavor were off. The sushi combos came with a few repeat. The salmon was good, but the tuna tasted bland. The menu description for “super california roll” implied there’d be an abundance of tobiko. However, the amount seems more appropriate for their “special california roll” instead. Nothing bad to say about the sashimi other than the tuna.Well here are the goods: location, prices, overall vibes, supporting local businesses, and no food poisoning. Service can get a bit slow but they’re making it work with the of workers they have. Not gonna ding them for that."

"Don’t be fooled by the restaurants high rating. This restaurant serves garbage quality rolls that are so huge; they’re pretty much laughing at you as you feel forced to finish all the food not to incur a penalty for food wasting. Oh and the way in which they elevate their review score is by offering free drinks/dessert for positive (fake) reviews. When you do go if you order one roll (choice) you’ll get a roll that is so carb intensive and fat and if you don’t like the taste of it after sampling a piece; your stuck- cause they serve whole rolls! You feel scammed into visiting this restaurant; beware of this place and AVOID!!!"

"When I arrived, there was no wait, and a very friendly older lady took my order. I opted for the chicken udon, shrimp tempura udon without green onions, and a side of shrimp tempura. My order was ready in about five minutes, and the food was hot and fresh. I tried the chicken udon, which was served in a separate bowl. The chicken was tender and quite soft; while I’m not a big fan of it, my boyfriend enjoyed it. Unfortunately, they included green onions in my udon despite my request for no onions. The shrimp tempura, on the other hand, was absolutely delightful and came out piping hot. On the downside, the tables were somewhat dirty and there was no one around to clean them. Additionally, several of the chair cushions were torn."
