"I had the most incredible experience just ordering from this place , my cats love there roast beef and a woman named Jess that works there took it to the next level and separated all the food knowing it was for my cats just by me mentioning it because she was nice enough to ask if I wanted sauce on the side and I said no it’s for my cats and she started laughing and being so kind and cool on the phone !! "Went to Boneyard Bistro with friends because they wanted barbecue and I don't eat meat but the menu had lots of choices for me. My husband and friends ordered a combo meal for 4 that came with all of the different BBQ meats/pork and lots of sides. I ordered the trout. The food came luckily split! I couldn't believe how fast it came. Their feisty looked incredible and judging by what was left, it was delicious. My trout was just OK. It had a citrus taste throughout the fish and all of the vegetables on my plate so it was Ll pretty one note. My drink was awesome though! I think it was called the smoke and salt. It was like a margarita made with mezcal. It was soooo strong and once I got used to that, I loved it! Our waiter Walter was awesome too. Very friendly and efficient as was all of the help there that night."

"Great food, and service. My extremely picky son loves the hamburgers and says they are the best he has ever had. The bowls are great when you are trying to eat low-carb, although every time I go I have a very hard time saying no to the sweet potato fries, they are the best I have ever had. We had their prime rib last Thanksgiving. Hands down way better than a Turkey! The sandwiches are also better than any sandwich we have ever had. You can eat anything here and not be disappointed. Special shout out to Janine who helped me today and reminded me to post a long overdue review. She was fast, pleasant, and made an outstanding Cali Bowl."

"Been coming here for several years now practically on a daily basis, and there is no other place in the area I would consider having lunch at in the area. My go-to items are the grilled Buffalo chicken sub, pastrami sub, and of course the tuna. The homemade chili is excellent on a cold day to warm up from being outside. The staff and owner Tony are all very friendly, and take pride in their jobs. Tony did an excellent job keeping the business going throughout the height of Covid and took the extra precautions to make everyone feel safe and protected. I would strongly recommend Village Pizza and Subs to anyone."

"What bothered me was the older lady's comment about there being no money in my account. I knew I had sufficient funds, but I chose not to say anything at the time. Having worked in customer service for many years, I believe cashiers should ensure they have the correct information before making such statements in front of other customers. While the food has always been excellent, I feel that when we support our own community businesses, we sometimes receive less than optimal service. A more professional way to handle the situation would have been to say, "Would you like to try another form of payment? This one isn't going through," rather than assuming there was no money in my account. Overall, I found her comment to be unprofessional. I typically go to a different location, and this was my first visit to this one."

"If you?re looking for a classic bbq spot, this is truly not one of them. The ribs were super dry and are just sitting under a heat lamp, that does not keep the meat moist at all. The ball sandwich, the meat was microwaved (in front of our eyes) and just drowned it in mayonnaise and bbq sauce to keep it moist. The only highlights was the bbq sauce (what they?re known for) and the above average potato salad. I would not come back here after I saw the cafeteria style cooking to prepare our food."

"don't waste your time here. I tried to go for a quick bite, but almost 45 minutes took to get a single sandwich and pommes. the line to get the food was extremely slow and during this waiting we were able to hear the older woman with glasses that work there, and scream to the younger fellow workers about different things. when this woman finally took my order, she apparently did not actually take it into the hand when she made all the other food except me. after waiting for approx. 20-25 minutes I asked about eating and after they fought to find where the woman even put our order, then it took another 10 minutes to make her eat. when they collected the food to put in the bag, a worker of the woman said that the fries a cold and they must get us fresh. they cried back to him they are not warm, but they are edible enough $5 for barely edible fries?! when I finally got the unique sandwich and the pommes, that was sandwiched with barely flesh and very sluggishly joined together. not worth the $20 for a lunch that leaves me extremely annoying and not satisfied. I feel bad for someone to work with this woman."

"As someone who used to be a frequent flyer to this restaurant from 2009 to 2015 I?m going to try to be exact in this review here on my revisit in 2022. The new location is nice with all the parking however I never really found parking to be an issue before.As others stated it is hard to see where to order from the road/ parking area. A simple sign would be tremendous help here. Thenew location seems like it?s the side or back area of someone?s house instead of a hole in the wall restaurant like before. Iwonder if there?s some financial issues behind the scenes as to why they had to change locations. We ordered several differentmeats and only their bbq beef seemed fit for human consumption. The other meats seemed spoiled and smelled like they had justscooped it off the road hours prior where it was probably was closer to a servable temperature. It?s really hard not to usehumor to cope as I loved this restaurant so much when it was downtown. I?m not even sure if it was changing locations that bentthis restaurant over or if it?s a lack of qualified help or maybe something such as employee burn out but it was a truly tragicexperience this evening. Maybe this experience was because it was 2 hours before closing on a Friday and they are not open onweekends. (Not to say that the employees were not entertaining to chat with or helpful) the saving grace of this place was thefamiliarity and well met expectations of the tried and true taquilia lime fries and sauce. I feel like a different restaurantmurdered this one and is now wearing its skin and has moved to a new location. It?s also worth noting that we had planned to eatthere but ended eating back at the hotel as the 3 bbq covered tiny tables just didn?t seem like an enjoyable experience."
