"This place was incredible! My partner is a chef at Lake Ozark, and we truly appreciate good food. Everything about this place was fantastic. We ordered two appetizers and three main courses. My partner enjoyed two liters of beer, while I had three High Noons, and our total bill was only $83. The photo captures everything we brought home. We're currently driving back to the boathouse, which is about an hour away. My only suggestion for improvement would be to replace their current queso with a block of white Velveeta melted in a crockpot with some salsa, particularly for the pigs in a blanket nachos, which could be priced at one dollar or even a dollar fifty. Alternatively, they could use shredded melted cheese instead. I would recommend changing the cheese they currently use."

"I’ve being going there since I was a teenager and since it was across the street. I always get the same meals and they’ve been good. The fries are not always crispy and I think it’s because they’ll heat them up first and have them waiting in the box/bag before making the burgers. By the time you get it, the fries are a little soft and soggy. Hate that they don’t sell pizza anymore and haven’t in over 10 years. It’s very convenient, right next to the corner store and right near the bus stops."

"The staff here is friendly, the prices are very affordable (with a great selection of $5 meals), and the southern cooking is delicious. "Turtle Bay has so much potential and with a little more polish will be a hidden gem. The restaurant staff was friendly and provides us with a tasty and quick meal. Fresh fish! The music on the deck was a great bonus. We stayed in the apartment above the restaurant. It was spacious with plenty of space for our family of four to spend the night and host friends for dinner. The deck, while a rough, provides a great view. The kitchen is huge and well equipped. The living room is cozy. However, I have to admit the space is aged, which I can live with. My biggest complaint was the well-used pillows and mattresses. While we brought our own linens and toiletries, I still felt uneasy about the pillows supplied. There was also used bedding left throughout the rooms. We were scheduled to stay two days but opted to cut the final night short. Since there wasn’t a formal check in or check out process, we stopped at the restaurant to inform the staff there. Rooms: The rooms left a lot to be desired. The bed and pillows showed signs of aging and there was linen and sleeping bags left in the rooms. The carpets had stains."

"Today was my first visit to this restaurant, but it won't be my last. Although I've had their food from the palace before, I had never actually dined in. The chicken wings were fantastic, and all the Asian dishes we ordered for takeout were equally excellent. I especially enjoyed the General Tso's chicken—just the right balance of spice, salt, and sweetness. When I gave a generous cash tip, the lovely lady even threw in two sodas. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back soon."

"I ordered a 12-piece family dinner online and arrived to pick it up about 30 minutes later. When I got inside, my order wasn’t ready, and I ended up waiting an additional 30-40 minutes while cars in the drive-thru were served right away. During my wait, I noticed one of the servers scratching his head while wearing gloves and then handling food, which was quite concerning. There were at least ten staff members behind the counter, but none of them seemed to know what they were doing or care about the situation. By the time I finally received my order and got home, I found that it was incomplete."

"We finally got to try this place out, ordering chicken tenders, fries and hush puppies to go. It was clean inside, and the two guys working there were very friendly.
