"I ordered a 12-piece family dinner online and arrived to pick it up about 30 minutes later. When I got inside, my order wasn’t ready, and I ended up waiting an additional 30-40 minutes while cars in the drive-thru were served right away. During my wait, I noticed one of the servers scratching his head while wearing gloves and then handling food, which was quite concerning. There were at least ten staff members behind the counter, but none of them seemed to know what they were doing or care about the situation. By the time I finally received my order and got home, I found that it was incomplete."

I really love Bojangles, and my favorite location is the one on Whiskey Rd. It feels much friendlier and cleaner than the one next to Sam's, which I didn't enjoy at all. They could learn a lot from the way the Whiskey Rd location treats its customers—there's a significant difference!

I ordered a 3-piece chicken meal but only got two thighs and a leg. I had asked for my mashed potatoes to be upgraded to a large, but I got a small instead. I was quite disappointed since I couldn't leave work to sort it out. I reached out to the manager, who was really nice and offered to replace my order.

Bojangles is fantastic, but I strongly recommend visiting in person rather than ordering through DoorDash. That way, if their employees inevitably make a mistake with your order, you can just swing by the drive-thru to sort it out. Each time I’ve ordered, they consistently forget two or even three items. Literally, the worst restaurant to visit. The staff are the most miserable human beings. We used drive-thru hoping for a quick bite to eat as what they are designed for, was then told to move forward and proceeded to make us wait over 20 minutes. Somestaff member with long curly hair finally brings our meal to the car and doesn?t. say. a. word. Please shut this place down sono one else has to have their night ruined by such horrible people.

I got off work a bit late and received a last-minute request from my wife for Bojangles' chicken. So, naturally, I stopped on my way home to pick up her order. I was eager to return and be hailed as the best husband ever, only to discover that they had given me the wrong order. I turned around and headed back through the drive-thru. The young woman at the window was incredibly friendly and made sure that my order was completely correct before I drove away again. In the end, I’d rate the service as A+ because my wife got exactly what she wanted, and I ended up with a free meal, too!

"This restaurant has a lovely interior, and the food is absolutely fantastic—the cauliflower is especially addictive! The service was quick, and the staff were very accommodating when we needed to get our food to go because our son was too excited about going to Vampire Penguin. Everything was enjoyable overall, but I can't give a perfect score because our waiter made a comment about my son’s excitement, saying that’s why he’s waiting to have children. He went on to mention how we don't get to relax, sleep, or have date nights. While it’s true, it felt quite rude and made me very uncomfortable during our visit."

"The Wilcox was a wonderful place to experience the lovely town of Aiken with a southern charm ombiance. Comfortable rooms with excellent food and extremely friendly staff. The chocolate bundle dessert was so amazing! The lobby and restaurant area are so very comfortable and well appointed. The pool area was so relaxing with the waterfalls running in the pool. Wonderful landscaping around the hotel. Discovered the best clothing shop just steps away from it. Affordables Apparel was the best clothing store we visited. Thank you, Aiken, for a wonderful visit. Nearby activities: Great shopping in Aiken in general. Again, we loved Affordables Apparel within a few steps next door. Safety: Very safe neighborhood. Walkability: Easy walking to sites, shopping and other restaurants. Food drinks: The breakfast, dessert and coffee we had was very good. "As soon as you walk into Metro Diner, you’re greeted by a bright and clean atmosphere. The first thing you notice is the cooking grill area, complete with a counter and stools for customers—this really enhances the nostalgic '50s vibe that the decor exudes. The menu features an impressive selection of food from various cuisines, and the specials displayed on the large chalkboard looked particularly enticing. We decided to order the fried chicken, which caught our attention. While chatting about the day—my wife had explored the railroad museum and a park in downtown Aiken—our server brought over a massive plate of chicken. My wife opted for the chicken and waffles, which came with strawberry butter and a sweet hot sauce that turned out to be delicious maple syrup mixed with Pete's Red Hot. I chose the fried chicken served with mashed potatoes and green beans. The green beans were fantastic—crisp, flavorful, and well-cooked, going beyond just being blanched. The mashed potatoes had that perfect homemade touch, with small bits of potato that confirmed they were made with real ingredients, not from a mix. Now, let’s talk about the chicken. Typically, my wife and I only eat the chicken itself, avoiding most of the skin and breading for health reasons, as I usually prefer just a little of the crispy coating. But Metro Diner has a secret: their fried chicken was so good that we ended up eating nearly all the skin and coating! Honestly, this was the best fried chicken we’ve ever tasted. It was served piping hot, and while we started with small bites to let it cool, we were completely captivated by the sweet and spicy sauce. The setup at the table made it easy to replenish the sauce as needed, and I even took home the recipe, which we've already used a couple of times. Our service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Metro Diner truly lives up to its reputation for variety. I can only imagine how delicious breakfast must be there!"

"About 10 days ago the date.. When we arrived, we had to insist on seating in the main dining room. We had a handicap individual with us and table top (high) seats were not an option. They needed something to take us. The decor was nice, the mood and entertainment we were beautiful. The waiting staff was excellent... not so much the staff at the front end. The first cocktails that were ordered from 3 in our party had two that were wrong. The food... not for most of our party. Steak... so so, my caprese salad was very strange with prosciutto and not good at all. The presentation of the salad was not inviting, I had a kind of flatbread with chicken and bleu cheese, which at best was mediocre and ate only half. The deserts were limited, but okay. When the coffee came, the deserts were long gone. An unforgettable birthday dinner....just not a good memory of the food/drinks."
