"We stopped into the BoJangles in Burgaw, NC tonight around 8:30. Their sign said open until 10:30 pm. After waiting at the counter for at least 10 minutes, a young man came over to take our order. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. He replied that they were cooking some now and it would be about 8 minutes. I said that was fine, I didn 't mind waiting. My husband ordered the 2 piece dark dinner. The young man said we don 't have any chicken. We just have 1 breast and that 's all I was afraid to ask what they had planned to put on my sandwich. I promise the sign out front says BoJangles Chicken ! We said we would just go elsewhere. Why were they open? Just so they could tell everyone that they don 't have chicken? Sorry folks, no pictures cause we ain 't got no chicken!"

"The server's sole responsibility was to take orders, yet she still managed to mess mine up. I asked for a sausage biscuit, but she repeated back bacon, egg, and cheese. She was loud and rather rude. After waiting for 10 minutes, I received a cold biscuit. I specifically requested sweet tea with no ice, but my cup was filled with more ice than tea. Overall, I felt that my time and gas were wasted."

"never had a bad experience in years. today the whole staff takes care of my experience. how long I've been waiting for 30 customers before me, even though I was before them. I was never asked the name for my pickup, they just thought they knew what. After asking why I'm set to the back of the line, no matter how many customers come, I said they always come first and I have to wait for all of them to be served until they start my and his corporate policy. because I don't want to eat there and get it togo. it's not fast, I can't just pick it up, I'm less important than going into it. I don't know how long I'm waiting for a TOGO pickup, I'm gonna stop coming there. I am very busy and can't afford to wait 40 minutes for a pickup for my family, and borders and dates that I have to do on time. Why isn't my time worth it?"

"I really like Bojangles as a whole. Their chicken is the biggest draw, but breakfast is good too. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are just right. If you're cutting back on sodium intake, do stay away from the seasoned fries, as they have a lot. If you're picking up a big box for a gathering, the service is reasonably fast and a great price as well! "Won’t be coming back to this location anymore. The dining room isn’t open even though it’s 5:15 PM. They don’t repeat orders back to you, or even greet you at the window. Last time they forgot my biscuit and the gravy for my mashed potatoes. This time she saw me checking the mashed potatoes (still no gravy) and asked “do you want gravy with that?”. To her credit she got it for me, but they consistently miss things from your order. Also, idk what the management situation is like, but there’s only teenagers here in the store. There’s only one person ever working, and like 3 kids just walking around the dining room. Today there was one with a black wifebeater walking around in the back. When I pull past the window to leave there’s 4 of them hanging out by the back door, which is odd because the dining room is closed. Idk if these are employees or just kids hanging out but there don’t seem to be any adults working there. It’s the same every time with employees being unprofessional, food being wrong, and a general “I don’t care” attitude about the place. Won’t be coming back."

"We waited over 15 minutes for our food. I ordered a 3-piece wing dinner, but the wings were burnt and appeared old. I also had to request the slaw that I initially ordered. Additionally, I ordered a 4-piece Supreme dinner with potato rounds but only received 3 pieces. When I asked about it, the staff member claimed I was lying. I can't understand why it's so hard for them to count to 3. The afternoon staff is definitely not as attentive or efficient as the morning crew."

"I waited 25 minutes for my order of French fries at this restaurant. I considered changing my side dish, but the staff was nowhere to be found. When I finally received the fries, they were barely warm. Surprisingly, the fried chicken that had been sitting out was still hot and very tasty. Overall, the service was slow and the meal was for lunch."

"Holy Moly!! I was at potomac run plaza getting some needed stuff when the smell of the fried chicken hit me. Then I realized omg it's coming from Bojangles and I thought ok- I'll get a piece of chicken from there. I didn't know they had a chicken sandwich. So I ordered two chicken wings and a sandwich. The guy that took my order (young African American gentleman) was so professional, he asked if mayo and pickles are ok on the sandwich. He didn't know I never tried it, but I thought that was amazing for him to ask. No one ever asks! My little sis hates mayo and that would have saved her! But I love it. Anyways the sandwich was soooo unbelievably good, hot, fresh, tasty. Puts to shame all other fast food joints, including POPEYES!!! Thank you Bojangles, I will be back soon!!"

"Been here several times, have had several issues with getting orders correctly. On my last visit I ordered an 8 piece dark chicken box. Employees stated that they didn't have enough dark pieces. Instead of offering options to wait for more chicken or allow substitutions, they stared at me like I was just supposed to order something else. Might adjust score when/if my complaint is received and followed up by those it concerns. For now this is a one-star establishment. Will not revisit. EDIT: I've attempted to reach out to Bojangles Corporate several times over the phone and through their online customer service. No one from Bojangles has attempted to communicate with me regarding the poor service complaint. I have to assume they just don't care that they lost a 25+ year customer."

"My only complaint is sometimes in the morning the chicken biscuit feels like the fryer didn't get hot enough? Whatever it is they get a little chewier than normal. That said, there is no perfect restaurant and these folks do it well 99.99% of the time. Pretty solid margin. Also the coffee is surprisingly good for a non-coffee-specific establishment. Keep up the good work!"

"This restaurant deserves no stars, and I urge the health department to close it down! I visited yesterday and ordered through the drive-thru. When I reached the window, I was horrified by the state of the place; not a single area of the floor was free of trash or food, and everything felt sticky. The young lady at the window was polite, but then she accidentally dropped something from her hair into the ice. Instinctively, she reached into the ice with her hands to retrieve it and looked at me to see my reaction. The disgust I felt was clear on my face! I strongly recommend that everyone steer clear of this place, even for pet food! This establishment needs to be shut down, thoroughly cleaned, and staffed with more hygienic employees!"

"Went Bojangles on midlothian on Feb 18. My husband and I love their chicken and sausage and egg biscuit. That what I order each time I go there. Sadly to say thelast time. When I walked in I stood at the register for 5 minutes eas not acknowledged. Them a young lady that was standing by drive thru came over . She took my order played it was on the counter and walked away. I stood there for another 10 minutes, Noone said anything about my order. Young guy came up I asked to speak to a manager, he stated he was. I explained my situation. He went over to the drivethru ask the young lady to get my order. Their customer service is terrible."

"Came here recently to pick up an order using curbside pickup. I usually don 't expect employees to recognize me or remember me but this one employee named Chevy not only remembered my vehicle but he also remembered my name. He brought the order out almostas soon as I parked. I said to him, wow, that was fast! , and he said I saw your car and knew what order was yours sir. Iwant to thank Chevy for making me feel like a valued customer and having a great attitude as well. "I ordered DoorDash, and for the second time, while the food was, of course, delicious, Bojangles got creative with the order. The prices for DoorDash items are already $2-3 more than the direct purchase prices, however when I order BoSize and get regular, order 4 PC Chicken Supreme $12+ and get 4 tiny, less and 1 1/2in tenders, all for second time, just because it is a delivery order, it is very very disappointing."

"I ordered a 12-piece family dinner online and arrived to pick it up about 30 minutes later. When I got inside, my order wasn’t ready, and I ended up waiting an additional 30-40 minutes while cars in the drive-thru were served right away. During my wait, I noticed one of the servers scratching his head while wearing gloves and then handling food, which was quite concerning. There were at least ten staff members behind the counter, but none of them seemed to know what they were doing or care about the situation. By the time I finally received my order and got home, I found that it was incomplete."

"I decided to give them another chance today because I understand that everyone can have an off day. Unfortunately, it was just as disappointing. The potatoes were so runny that they dripped off the spoon like soup; there's a better chance of drinking water upside down than getting those "potatoes" to hold any gravy. The macaroni and cheese looked like it had come from a barely functioning microwave from the late 80s. We received the wrong number of chicken pieces, and the ones we did get were so greasy that no one could eat them. I could probably use the chicken to fix every squeaky hinge in my house. I’m really fed up with this Bojangles – it’s just not good! Someone needs to address these issues. We won’t be returning until we see consistent positive reviews. I will be reaching out to corporate... again."
