"When I moved to Wisconsin from Austin, TX, my two main concerns were 1) finding a good hairdresser and 2) finding a good sushi restaurant. So far, I've tried sushi at three different places in Milwaukee area, and one of them is Midori. We've been going there for the past 3 years, and every single time it has been a wonderful experience. We've also taken friends and family to this restaurant on several occasions, and it has been a hit with everyone! Here are some of the dishes that I absolutely love at Midori: Soft Shell Crab roll $13): It's crunchy and has enough spice to it. I love that it's warm, so it creates a nice contrast to the raw fish sushi. 5 out of 5! Seaweed salad $5): Fresh and delicious! My only complaint is the price: $5.00 for what seems to be 2 tablespoonfuls is a little pricey in my opinion. Thus, it's 4 out of 5. Miso soup $2.50): It's miso soup. It's good, if you like miso soup. So, it's 4 out of 5. Special rolls price varies): They are fantastic! I've had most of them, and they are all wonderful. However, if I am not in the mood to try something new, I always go back to Beverly Hills roll $17). It combines cooked and raw sea food, so it gives me a well-balanced variety of different tastes and textures in one roll. If you love salmon, then I would recommend trying their M16 roll. It's wonderful. This category takes all 5 out of possible 5! As far as other dishes go, I have only tried their Chicken Yakisoba noodle dish $15). It was tasty and had good flavors. However, I am a sushi lover and I hardly ever order anything else in restaurants that serve very good sushi. The restaurant is small, but we never had to wait for a table. The service is good. While it may be a little slow for some, I personally don't mind waiting because it's worth it! We got to know the Chef. Apparently, he has been in business for a long time now, and the sushi that he serves is a good reflection of his knowledge, experience, and skills."
