"As an appetizer, I got the Vegetarian Platter: Onion Bhaji, Veggie Pakora, 2 Vegetable Samosas $12. I really enjoyed the Onion Bhaji Veggie Pakora; both were perfectly seasoned and delicious. The Vegetable Samosas were good, but I wasn't a fan of their tamarind sauce, at all. It was way too tart and had no hint of the sweetness that I like in my tamarind sauces. My main entree was the vegan Aloo Saag $14, which I ordered spicy/hot. It was ok, but it was too dry and it had zero spice. I have had delicious vegan Aloo Saag at other restaurants, so they cannot use the excuse that the lack of cream is the culprit. I have no idea where the spice went, but none of it went into my dish. I was very disappointed, and it was certainly not worth $14. I was told that the only vegan bread options were the roti and the Aloo Pratha. I don't like roti so I got the Aloo Pratha $5. The bread was hard (too difficult to cut) and not tasty. I had issues with their cleanliness. When we arrived at the dinner opening time, we were the first ones there. The benches had not been cleaned or wiped down from the lunch crowd (which was about 3 hours earlier). I had to ask the waiter to wipe the seats. Also, there was some sort of food in my water glass. I had to ask for a new glass. Lastly, I saw a guy get hired immediately after about a 2 minute interview, which was cool. It was not cool to see him immediately start waiting tables and he was holding one tables' water glasses against his shirt! I think the manager said something because the new guy then placed the already tainted glasses on a tray. The prices were too high for the quality (of food service) and amount of food that you get. It is unlikely that I will re visit."

"Came here the first time for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I was the first to dine just after noon time. I was a little put off by the AirGarage parking app for their parking lot, but the staff member said that if I received a ticket as a patron, to bring it to them, and they would pay. Wow, very nice!I ordered the panu puri, pappadum, fish pakora and the karahi goat.... everything was so fresh, amazing and delicious. Great portions for the price too. Obviously, I ordered too much, but I wanted to try different things! Service was attentive, and the establishment was very clean. I'm hooked and will definitely be back!! Thank you for a great experience."

"I visited this restaurant on a Sunday morning after being invited by a friend to celebrate my birthday. He had been recommending this place for a while and urged me to try it out. They offer an all-you-can-eat champagne brunch buffet on weekends. While the champagne may not be top-notch, the bubbly and festive atmosphere made up for it. The hostess kept our glasses constantly filled, perhaps thinking we were on a date as she always smiled at us. Maybe it was because of her limited English, but I appreciated her hospitality. The buffet spread included a variety of dishes such as Lamb Saga, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Vegetable Curry. The food was delicious and spicy, which I enjoyed. It was one of the best Indian all-you-can-eat buffets I've experienced. The price was around $10-$12 per person, which I found to be very reasonable. I was so impressed that I recommended it to my sister and her family. They offer a $2 off coupon for the champagne brunch on their website, which Chinese parents will appreciate. The restaurant also has its own underground parking garage, making it convenient to visit."

"I absolutely adore this restaurant! Be sure to take a seat on the back patio for a cozy and enjoyable experience with a wonderful atmosphere. The food is incredibly tasty and mild, which is perfect for those who can't handle spice (just request some if you’d like it spicier). The service is outstanding, and the owner is just the sweetest person. I highly recommend this place! And don't miss out on the rose water donuts for dessert—they're simply fantastic!"

"Disappointing Lunch Experience I recently visited this restaurant for lunch, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. Our server showed us to our table, but then seemed to disappear, leaving us without guidance on the buffet or an opportunity to place an order. Even the water glasses were left empty without explanation. The food was also a letdown. As a vegetarian, I found the options limited and the dishes lacked flavor. To make matters worse, everything was served cold, rather than warm as expected. For $20 buffet, I expected a more satisfying experience. I hope the restaurant improves its service and food quality."

"Second EDIT: I emailed the business to ask the charges be reverted. They had already done so and apologized with a very reasonable explanation. So I'm adding a few stars back to my review for the good and prompt customer service --EDIT: Hours of waiting and no response later, we drove to the restaurant in person only to find out they're closed on Tuesdays ... and management only notified customers by putting a hand drawn sign in the window, but did not update business hours on Google OR their ordering page, so now I have to call my credit card company and figure how to cancel this charge. ? Terrible experience 3 hours for delivery of 2 basic dishes and 2 sides, to fewer than 4 miles away on a Tuesday in clear weather. Called the store to check on order: no answer, phone hangs up after several rings."

"Oh my goodness!! This restaurant is absolutely delicious! I eat Indian cuisine often, and this is by far one of my favorite places! The service is remarkable! Tanya was so nice and took great care of me! Her recommendations were spot on! The Chicken Tikka was well balanced and spiced to perfection. The Tandoori Shrimp was crispy yet juicy and succulent. The Naan is to die for! I even ordered dessert! I’m a boy from the south, the rice pudding reminded me of my grandmother’s southern dessert. If you love Indian food, this is the place to go LA! Until next time!!"

"Good restaurants near me now. It 's crucial to know what restaurants are open right now near you if you want to eat well. I won 't be able to eat if the nearest restaurant is closed! Fortunately, we discovered that several fantastic businesses around me in the Indianapolis region are open until 11 p.m. On weekdays and even later on weekends, while some operate 24 hours a day, and extras/type of services may include Mexican, Italian, Indian, breakfast, Chinese, Thai, vegan, african, bbq seafood, and a gluten free experience, all of which are consistently reviewed by a large number of people on a daily Shalimar indian restaurants. The management team is only a few months old, but they are already outstanding! Immediately! The chef prepares delicious food, and I 've never met such a welcoming, open minded attitude in another Indian restaurant. Despite the fact that the management team only took over a month ago, it feels like they were born to accomplish this.! Do remember your host deserves Tip. From the Indian restaurant Shalimar. "I have a friend in Andhra Pradesh, India and my partner and I decided to try Indian cuisine for the first time at this restaurant. We ordered the Shrimp Vindaloo, spiced tea, Mixed Grill, and Mango Ice cream. When our friend visits us from India, we will definitely bring him here. The restaurant has a formal family dining setup with well-done interior decor. The women's bathroom was clean and our hosts were polite. The atmosphere is quiet and perfect for a relaxing and peaceful dinner experience. Thank you. Namaste."

"This is our second visit to Mt. Everest and it definitely does not disappoint! We chose this restaurant in the past due to its close proximity to The Berkeley Playhouse and decided to visit again. The food is delicious and the service great! The restaurant opens at 4:30 which makes it convenient if you have an early show time and would like to have dinner beforehand. It is also walking distance from the theater."

"We recently ordered, take from Royal India Bistro, and the mango ice we had ordered was not in the pocket when we came home. We thought it was not a big deal and simply called to remove it from our bill, but they offered us to deliver it to us, even though we were outside their delivery area! Someone showed up with the mango ice cream, just like we finished our dinner, and it was delicious (like the rest of the food was! We will definitely be back for more of their amazing food and fantastic customer service!"

"A Culinary Journey Through Authentic Indian Flavors I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bombay in Anchorage, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. The decor beautifully reflects Indian culture, making the dining experience even more immersive. The menu offers an impressive variety of authentic Indian dishes, with plenty of options for both vegetarians, seafood and meat lovers. The appertizers which were perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with a flavorful blend of spices. For the 8 main courses all of them rich, aromatic, and bursting with flavor. The garlic Naan was soft and fluffy, a perfect complement to the meal. What truly sets Bombay apart is the balance of flavors in every dish, from the subtle heat in the curries to the fresh herbs and spices that make each bite exciting. The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. The service was impeccable attentive without being intrusive, and the staff was happy to make recommendations. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Bombay is the perfect place to indulge in an authentic culinary experience. I highly recommend Bombay for anyone in Anchorage looking for a delicious, authentic Indian meal. We will definitely be back."

"I thought eating was good, but I'm not an expert in Indian food though I like it very much. the personal was super nice and the atmosphere was very nice with tablecloths, etc. the problem for me was the price. for two people and we had nothing to drink, but water was $33 that contains 20% drinking money for lunch. the only thing we ordered was a naan that was $5. I guess I could even have less a problem with the price if there was a lot of food, how could they put the rest in a box and have lunch the next day. but the amount we got was so small, forget it. I have something huh and it may have had 4 small cubes of huh and very small sauce. it is just too expensive for us to lunch for the amount we have."

"There service was just okay. Our server had to be reminded of things and he mixed things up. Such as two people ordered something to go and it was put into the same bag. Two different people and orders so it had to go back and separated. Just little things like that. The food was fine, not great, but fine. I ordered hot, it wasn't and when I asked for something like red chili sauce, I was told they only had hot sauce? Anyway I doubt I'd go back."

"The restaurant has been around for several decades and I’ve been a patron through multiple ownership changes and renovations. It’s standard, mostly northern Indian cuisine. The food is always tasty. As of this post, entrees are $13 and served with rice. You can quickly run up your bill to $25 per person by adding bread, an appetizer and drink. The buffet left during pandemic but they’ve experimented with it occasionally, recently. Dining here for a duration spanning 4 different decades, the 2-3 times i’ve had a problem are nothing compared to the hundreds of times I’ve had good experiences. I will always come back to India Palace. :"

"This restaurant is truly one of the best places to find everything you desire. The service and food quality are exceptional—nothing compares to it. The people there are wonderful, and I genuinely enjoyed my time with them. I especially miss the company of Sikander Singh Sidhu Brar, a kind-hearted and loving individual. I have fond memories of that time and those amazing people!"
