"My party encouraged me to write this review in the hopes that this info will be used to help improve the establishment. I made a birthday reservation online for my fiancee and called to confirm ahead of time. When we arrived, we were told, Hey guys, just sit wherever tonight. This made me a little nervous, since the staff didn 't know my party had arrived. I had asked for a specific table in the reservation notes, but since we had to seat ourselves, we picked an empty table that we liked. We asked the staff to please wipe it down though, since there were plates and food left behind from previous customers. The staff kept coming back saying, We 'll wipe that down in just a minute. This happened about 4-5 times for over 15 minutes. So far, not a big deal though. Then, the food came. The waiter dropped off the food and ran away. No one came back to ask if the food was okay at any point during the night. Meanwhile, we had ordered a blunt when we placed our order. Eventually, we called for our waiter to come over. We asked when the blunt was coming, to which they said, You didn 't get that yet? It took about 45 minutes total to receive the blunt. By this time, we were done with our food. The food that remained was cold. The waiter eventually dropped off the blunt and immediately ran off again. We were sitting there like, Okay, now how do we light this? Eventually, I saw tables across the room that had matches and ash trays. None of the 4 tables in our vicinity had these. A waiter saw me grabbing them explained that customers accidentally take them home sometimes. At one point, I snuck off and asked about the birthday reservation. The waiter said I don 't know if we do anything for that, but I 'll see. Thankfully, the waiter gave my fiancee a cookie, but quickly rushed off again. No one was checking in to see if our food was okay or anything the whole night. We wondered if maybe every employee was just high. But unfortunately, we weren 't until long after dinner."

"This restaurant brings back memories of getting donuts as a child (before I was vegan). I appreciate that they offer vegan options, which are delicious and fresh. They also seem to have some savory vegan options like Avocado Toast, although they are not clearly labeled. One interesting choice is the pbj vegan donut, which is a glazed donut cut in half and turned into a pbj. It might not be for everyone, but it could suit your taste."

"The staff here is friendly and competent, providing quick service regardless of the time of day. However, the only downside is that they start shutting down 15-30 minutes before closing time, which they really shouldn’t do. For instance, if they say they close at 6, they actually close the doors by 5:30 and are usually out of the building by around 5:45."

"I was really disappointed with this restaurant. They promote themselves as vegetarian and vegan-friendly, but in reality, they use butter, milk, and eggs in almost everything. We went for breakfast and found that the only vegan options available were a heel flake and a head dish. Honestly, I can get better vegan options at a chain restaurant like IHOP, where I can order crispy fruit and heel flakes. We tried to communicate with the waiter to create a nice meal, but everything was cooked in butter. It’s frustrating that they claim to be vegan-friendly when their understanding of veganism seems limited. If they truly want to cater to vegans, they should know what being vegan means and offer real vegan options. We ended up leaving in frustration, and I still feel annoyed when I hear others talk about this place. It’s hard to believe they consider themselves vegan-friendly while using eggs, cheese, and butter."

"I've only had positive experiences at this location! Recently, I made an error with my mobile order, and the wonderful staff kindly remade my drink without any hesitation. "I have been coming here for years, and always order the large cappuccino because I think it's the best in the area.However, earlier this month, I noticed that they gave me less coffee and more froth than usual, so I decided to talk to the barista this time. She said there has been no change (basically saying I'm a liar) and said that if I wanted more coffee, she would recommend that I get the small instead of large, because small and large have the same amount of coffee.Huh? I have been paying close to $5 for the LARGE cappuccino, and you are telling me they have the same drinkable liquid as the SMALL version? So I have been paying extra for LARGE to get more...froth!? And as a long time customer, you can't just be a bit more flexible and let me have what I want... or in this case, have the same that I got before.The barista said she would have to charge MORE than the price of a LARGE, to get more coffee than a SMALL, because small/large have the same amount of coffee.Needless to say, I am very disappointed. I hope the owner can clarify this. It's sad if this place is becoming more like Starbucks (the I-don't-care-who-you-are place) down the street."

"This Starbucks has quickly become my favorite place to study and chat. They make drinks efficiently and have amazing costumer service. They are cheerful and welcoming and are the definition of service with a smile. One of the amazing staff members, Beanz, makes the experience 10 times better by making meaningful conversations and on countless occasions will bring me water unprompted while studying to keep me hydrated. Shazeb, another one of the employees never fails to bring a smile to my face and turns a simple strawberry refresher into a beautiful masterpiece. I cannot say enough about the staff. They truly make you feel at home. I will never go to another Starbucks."

"Nice little place, and well staffed in the morning. Nestled in the middle of the building in the complex where they are expanding more retail space. Is it me, or does Starbucks all over seem a bit more empty in the mornings now that people are using the mobile app to order drinks? Pros: free parking; easy to find with Gooogle maps; very clean and well staffed; quick service; no lines when I went in at 8am Monday morning Cons: tight parking spaces, a bit hard to maneuver in the lot; small store, and it seems triangular; only 5 small tables by the wall, and a table in the center; also closes around 8ish (earlier than ones I regularly go) The rest is Starbucks as you know it; same drinks and same pricing"

"Usually I love this one. But recently it seems the younger staff doesn't listen to the drive through well and has gotten my drink wrong a couple times. That's not big deal. What bothers me is today when they did this. They took the cup I had handled and drank from back on the line. Handle'd it with un-gloved hands. Refilled it with what I wanted. Not even rinsing the stuff I didn't want out. So the flavor was still off when I drank it. But then after fixing my order. She just went back to making more drinks. Didn't even wash her hands. So she contaminated the line with my cup and then every cup after that. In a time of monkey pox and covid I just feel like basic food handling skills should be followed."

"I think I 'm officially done coming here after this morning 's chaos. I 've started coming here for a month now because it 's the closest Starbucks to my new job and it 's on the way. Today I had a simple order hot chocolate with whipped cream and a toasted bagel. I got there 10mins after I placed the order (I order while I 'm in Walnut Creek bc they do take longer) and my hot cocoa was ready. I waited around another 5mins for my bagel and finally asked if I could just get it cold. By the way the employee looked for it, looks like it wasn 't going to be ready for a while. Another customer had actually walked out upset when I got in and said forget my bagel . When I got to the car, I noticed my hot cocoa didn 't have whipped cream even though I requested extra. These are very small, simple mistakes, but when they happen consistently, it gets annoying. Looks like I 'll be going to the other Starbucks farther out with a drive thru from now on."

"I was made to feel so uncomfortable that I will not be coming back. I went through the drive through and ordered one cake pop which costs $3.25. When i got to the window, I handed the employee my card and they extended their arm out the window with a little electronic screen and the employee said would you like to leave a tip? And the screen had options of $1, $2, and $5.No one made anything for me, or even microwaved something for me, so technically this was not a tippable purchase. But having this person say verbally to me, would you like to give me a tip? And then making me physically choose a tip amount or choose No, made me very uncomfortable and it messed with me psychologically (just as the owner of the business intended). It worked and I left a tip.What happened to the tip jar on the counter? You tipped if you chose to, maybe even because you receieved excellent service?I left this interaction feeling uncomfortable and angry, and will not be going back for more."

"This restaurant is located right on the side of the main road at the intersection, making it easy to find. Even in Sausalito, it consistently offers great deals. While it can be challenging to find a seat inside, a better option is to order your coffee to-go and enjoy it while taking in the beautiful shoreline.
