"Went for dinner before a Mavs game. We had a reservation and they sat us right away. Restaurant was attractive. They had us scan a QR code for the menu and we noticed it was limited compared with what they show online (there were no meat/fish offerings and not all of the pastas). When we asked our waiter why he said it was an event menu….basically limited offerings to help things move faster on a busy game day. Made sense and since we were needing to eat and get to the game too and there were enough pasta and pizza choices we were fine with it. We asked about a pizza and the waiter said the pizza oven was actually out of service so no pizza either. So, ok, no problem, we picked 3 different pastas and ordered within just a few minutes of being seated. 40 mins after ordering and hearing nothing from anyone, we inquired about our food and our waiter apologized and said they were super busy and there were still 4 orders ahead of us. We asked for bread, and he said there wasn’t any because they usually make it in the pizza oven and it’s down. We were offered a water refill. About 10 more minutes passed and we asked again, waiter checked and said we were next up to have our food made and should be just a few more mins. About 5 mins later at least 50 mins after ordering…one order did arrive. Then at about 55 mins after we had ordered we got the second order and about 2 mins after that, the final/3rd pasta order. Portions were not big, but they were adequate in size (we didn’t leave hungry or full). Only thing that saved the experience was we all thought the food tasted very, very good (or maybe we were just starving, lol). So overall…nice ambiance, pleasant waitstaff (although no manager said anything to us about our waiting basically an hour for our food), and delicious pasta….for that last reason we all hope perhaps it was just an off night and we look forward to giving it another try. I probably won’t come on a game day, and won’t come too hungry either, just in case…."

"Me and my fiancé had been so excited to stay at the tetherow hotel. This was short lived. We received horrible service and have been treated so poorly we will not only not be going back but we will be consciously seeking people out to warn them about this hotel. There are a lot of places to stay in this area I would highly recommended staying elsewhere. Beautiful view but that’s about it. They couldn’t even get our mini fridge to work. Well they didn’t care to be honest and did not try. Treated horrible and now have been over charged. When we spoke to a manager she informed us they can’t refund anything since that would damage their companies bonus. Let me add we did not ask for a refund this was told to us for I don’t know what reason. I can not warn you enough to spend your hard earned money elsewhere.Rooms: Rooms are ok but once you add in the fact there is no service to go with it and if anything in your room is not working they are not going to catch it before you start your stay and will not have the ability or drive to help solve the situation.Nearby activities: Everything at the hotel is very overpriced. They also don’t let you know about what is available nearby or on site. I went down to ask about the golf course attire rules since my fiancé was going to play and we were not 100% for sure about their specific policy. Not only did the guy in the pro shop seem to not want anything to do with me and I was somehow annoying him but I was told nothing about any available amenities or activities. Found out later about the driving range and the chipping range even though I only knew they had it and nothing else. If he would have taken the time especially since literally no one else was around he could have sold me a full gold outfit for my fiancé, a minimum of 9 holes plus I would have gone to the driving range at least twice. After my interaction with him and then finding things out on my own I had a very bad taste in my mouth from the whole experience and was refusing to pay any more money to the hotel. This was a theme we found around the entire hotel. At the pool they have a one towel per person that they will provide. My fiancé got a huge talking too like she was a child because she asked for a towel and they saw she already had one at her chair. Not only was this towel soaked because it fell in a little puddle but she brought it with her and had not even received the one towel allows per person We definitely did not see this as a luxury hotel and not even close to a luxury experience. Plus to top it all of we have reached out multiple ways to try to resolve the situation and have been insulted or ignored."
