"We absolutely love their gluten free crust. Insanely amazing crust that we can't get in Connecticut. The salad was yummy and good healthy dressing. Hot oil on pizza. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? Yeah they do it. Currently sottocasa is in our top 3 gluten free places of all time. They don't mess around. I have been with people that say the taste difference is non existent. The ingredients are fresh and absolutely high end. The staff is awesome and Italian hard core. Great place for date night or with a group. This was our first visit to this location and it did not dissapoint. Damn.. I wish they could teach other places how to make proper gf za. I mean when your crust folds and doesn't fall apart you know you crush. Keep being amazing."

Really well done Neapolitan style pizza, quick service, reasonably priced, and quality ingredients. Loved the tartufata a must if you like truffles and the diavola was a flavorful classic red pizza

One of the better pizzas in Brooklyn. We were welcomed by the man, who I assume was the owner in the most polite manner. Warm greetings and the smell of the wood fire pizza oven were in the air. We sat out back on the patio in the garden. Beautiful seating arrangement. The pizza was delicious. We ordered the Margherita and the ametricana. Both pizzas had light crust with a coal oven flavor and fresh sauce/toppings. A reasonable price for clearly homemade food with the best of ingredients. 5 stars… easily…

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
