"Much like the search for the Holy Grail, hubby and I have made it our mission to discover a delicious gluten free pizza. After years of fruitless searching, wading through the cardboard-like, half cooked monstrosities that some establishments dared to call pizza, we hit upon heaven on earth: Don Antonio! No longer would our dietary restrictions separate us from the joy of pizza. And what a pizza! (Actually, 2, to be exact! : Fresh mozzarella, basil that tasted like they had picked it right before they placed it on our pizzas, and the unmistakable tang and smell of unpressed virgin olive oil. Add to that truffle sauce, mushrooms, sausages, prosciutto, and a spicy oil in a glass decanter to accompany your crusts. As if the exquisite food wasn’t enough, the service was splendid, with attentive and talkative staff, even in the midst of dinner rush on a Saturday evening. It was a perfect way to round out seeing Chicago on Broadway, and we will make this a tradition whenever we traipse downtown!"
