"Having lived in San Francisco my entire life and having eaten at every salvadorian restaurant for the last half century, I have to tell you hands down these are the very very best pupusa's in San Francisco. The staff is very helpful always especially when you are on the phone ordering something for take out. The owner makes sure that everyone is made welcome by the entire staff. During the pandemic I believe they made some remodeling upgrades which makes it even nicer and yes there is a parklet outside for outside dining. They have the most delicious orchard I like it by the pint. Thank you to the amazing staff. Muchisimas gracias"

"Very slow service. Waitress was slow to come get order, appetizers came out first after a long wait .. meals came out one at a rime, with long waits in between the next .. meaning people who had meals got cold while waiting for others to be able to eat. The musicians are good, however they are so loud you can’t have conversation while they play. The place wasn’t even that full so there really didn’t seem to be a need for the delay."

"It is a shame that most people have never experienced the joy that is the humble Pupusa. And in my opinion, no one makes her better than La Casita. I have been here for many times last year and it is always consistently great. Not only their Pupusas are the best, but all their ducks and sides are excellent. I recommend the Pechuga Asada safe, but all her entrees are also great. The value here is excellent as Entrees come with two sides and a homemade tortilla. Also make sure to try both Pupusa types of corn and rice flour. The corn is more traditional, but in my opinion the rice has a more crisp texture that I usually prefer. There is usually a decent wait for your food, but this is because everything is really done to order. And they are always busy, especially with takeover orders."

"HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Bad negligible staff!!! \nI went here yesterday, and the lady served me a drink. I never thought it would happen to me. She opened my glass drink and as I drank it there was piece of glass in my mouth. I was shocked, I felt glass and it cut my tongue. The workers and the managers said it were not taking responsibility for this incident and repeatedly said it was an accident.The manager was rude and kept asking me for proof as if the paper full of blood wasn't enough! I completely understand that it can or was accident but if I swallowed the bigger glass piece it would be their fault. THEY Should take a blame for this it’s a horrible experience!!! They didn't care and wanted me to pay my food and just didn't care about what happened to me and did not help me mediate the situation. I started to fell a small piece of glass scratching at my throat and asked for a banana and bread so that I can get rid of that shard. They said NO i don’t have anything NO and they just wanted me to leave and pay. They were not caring for me and I still payed!!! If something happens to me I will be suing. The least they could have done is tell me I don't have to pay for their damage."

"The food was very tasteful actually for the price. I tried to eat a little bit of everything and it didn’t disappoint with the exception of the pupusas de aguacate, like nope.. don’t order if you love avocados is non existent is more of a cheese pupusa. "This is my new favorite place in Chattanooga. I never had a pupusa before but I'll be back often. We tried 4 or five different flavors of pupusa and they were all amazing. I love the cabbage (curtido? That came with them. The tamales were huge and the masa in them was delicious. I had the sopa de mariscos, a creamy seafood soup. It was great. Husband had fajitas and the steak was juicy and delicious, and the tortillas were fresh and obviously homemade. We went on a weekday evening and it was fairly busy. Seemed popular with the local Hispanic crowd."

"I have to admit that you are one of the best Salvadorean restaurants in NYS in terms of food that I've tried.. Coming back from vacation from Finger Lakes one of my kids wanted pupusas for lunch so I randomly picked this place. The food was surprisingly amazing, very tasty, nice portions and not greasy. Our waitress gave us good service too. The restaurant space is small but the food is delicious! ????"

"I ordered two Pupusas to go, and while they were good, the experience was less than ideal. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and lovely decor, but it took longer than necessary for my order to be ready. To make matters worse, the waitress's attitude was quite off-putting; she showed no hospitality whatsoever. I understand that I was just waiting for a takeout order, but as a paying customer, I expected better service. I may update this review if I decide to return, and perhaps I'll dine in next time."

"I would have to disagree with the previous users comment about the food being bland and nothing special, I am surprised this is a Google guide saying this. My boyfriend and I pulled off the road to see the euro deli next door. We wanted a snack after and saw this quaint spot. The gentleman who was clearly the owner/father welcomed us in. His daughter rang up the previous customer and he gave us menus. I am vegetarian and tried the cheese pupusa and my boyfriend tried the green squash and cheese pupusa, we both chose corn instead of rice. A sign set our expectation to the wait 15-20 minutes while they hand made them fresh. They served the Pupusas with two sides, a pickled and fresh salsa. I was impressed, the texture was creamy, yet chewy. Very hot the way I like it. It was $3 per pupusa. Totally worth it. Before we left the young woman who rang us asked us if we enjoyed the meal. Wonderful service. Additionally we were offered cake samples from their pastry case. Love the laid back family feel."

"This was my first time trying San Miguel Pupuseria since the pupuseria I used to go to on Hawthorne Blvd closed. Walking in, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and lively the place was. The two big screens showing the game added a nice touch, and the person taking my order was very friendly. Now, the food—WOW! It really hit the spot. I ordered five pupusas: two revuelta and three queso, and they were absolutely delicious! Unlike some places that skimp on the filling, these pupusas were packed and full of flavor. Much better than my old favorite spot—I’m so happy I found this new place! I’ll definitely be coming back."

"I really love this place! It's situated in East Hollywood and has a spacious, bright room featuring colorful artwork. The food is very hearty without being excessively portioned. I tried their Pupusas, which were hot, crispy, and quite satisfying. The fried pupusas come with sour cream and roasted beans, along with complimentary curtido—a Salvadoran relish made with pickled cabbage, onions, and carrots. There's also a watery red sauce in a bottle that I was told is Salvadoran ketchup; it's mild, and I really enjoy it!"

"We drove quite a distance from Williamsburg to visit this restaurant, and it was definitely worth the trip. I ordered the pan con pollo and requested that the bones be removed, which made it much easier to eat. I also received a side of broth, which was packed with flavor. Don’t miss out on the chicken and potato empanadas—they’re fantastic. If you want curtido with your meal, make sure to ask for it, as it's not included automatically. The carne asada with tortillas was delicious as well. Plus, the cebada drink was superb. Even though there was only one waitress, she did an outstanding job—very attentive and professional."

"The pupusas here are delicious, but they really need to sort out their phone system. Every time I call, it’s either busy or the call doesn’t go through at all. I’ve never managed to place an order without making at least 13 calls! Their online ordering system seems decent, but even though it says you can order for pickup, that's not possible. Additionally, they should consider using a floor cleaner that doesn't irritate everyone's eyes when dining inside. I want to emphasize again that the food is truly excellent; they just need to improve a few things."

"I must be honest, I was so hungry that I forgot to take pics of the most delicious shrimp tacos I have had in years. But take my word for it, the plate was a beautiful display of perfectly cooked shrimp, guacamole, sour cream, Pico, rice, beans, and that ever-so-slightly spicy green sauce we all know and love. It was a wonderful lunch, made even better by the attentive and courteous staff. Truly, if you find yourself in Dale City, Virginia, then you must make a stop at Margaritas Grill. You will love the cozy lighting, appropriate decorations, and the optional outdoor seating. Although, the rest of the plaza could use a bit of a face-lift, but I digress. I would love to come back in the future to try some of the Salvadoran side of the menu, but if you get there before I do, please let me know how good it is. That's all from me for today.
