Always good, affordable and authentic. Nothing nothing like carne asada (marinated steak), eggs sautéed with vegetables, beans, tortilla Salvadorian coffee. Amongst the best pupusas in the DMV!

Delicious and authentic. Came on a Sunday in the late afternoon and the place was packed and taken out was continuous. Service slow. Place dirty, but must have been hard to maintain with so many people.

Horrible horrible location no parking what soever , place crowded and small, stingy as well for the price they could provide more oz of food like rice and food.The carne asada comes with one tortilla . Most other places will give u 2 tortillas.Charges for small extra sauces .

Pollo con queso was good. That's all I ever get from here. You have a complete menu of El Salvador. I'll try something new next time. This place can actually be called a pupuseria, they have playing aromas, allot of places would be called pupuseria and have 3 flavors. Parking is hard to find.

I have only ordered over the phone for curbside pickup. Staff over the phone was friendly. I ordered the camarones entomatados; they could give bigger portions for the price they charge but good either way. Carne with chorizo had good flavor it was a decent size portion. Wow, this place is amazing, from the minute I walked in, my day was instantly made, it was my first time here, I’m new to the area and this was about 20 minutes away from my place, but it was worth the drive. The cashier was super friendly, and personable, she even brought out my food to the car, I wish I would’ve asked for her name.The order took about 20 minutes and everything was delicious, I order these vegan pastelitos and they were amazing, the horchata was on point and tasted REAL. I order five different kind of pupusas and they were all a hit, not too greasy, filled nicely and a good size! Definitely recommend this place and will continue ordering from them.

A hidden gem in Silver Spring/Takoma Park. This is the best location of the chain. A family-friendly restaurant with many seating and a small market. The food here is amazing and ON POINT. You have great frescos, smoothies and horchata. Favourites include... Sopa de Mariscos Sopa de Res Pupusa Vege Mixta Shrimp/Carne Asada Taco Salat All pupusas are delicious and fresh. They can say they are made to order. Next time I try the fools. They looked amazing. Prices are so reasonable! Service is good. The food takes forever, so don't go to Hangry. But waiting is worth it, because everything comes hot, fresh and always delicious. This place is the best in my opinion compared to the others.

It is a shame that most people have never experienced the joy that is the humble Pupusa. And in my opinion, no one makes her better than La Casita. I have been here for many times last year and it is always consistently great. Not only their Pupusas are the best, but all their ducks and sides are excellent. I recommend the Pechuga Asada safe, but all her entrees are also great. The value here is excellent as Entrees come with two sides and a homemade tortilla. Also make sure to try both Pupusa types of corn and rice flour. The corn is more traditional, but in my opinion the rice has a more crisp texture that I usually prefer.
