I had the best Eriterean food of my life. Almaz the lady who cooked the food is so friendly smiling and hard working. You must visit with your family.

The food was excellent!! My favorite new Ethiopian restaurant. We ordered the lamb, a vegetarian dish, and chicken. The flavor was on point. I will be back again.

Had a great first experience at Elilta this weekend. Friends and I shared the vegetarian combo platter. Everything was fresh and delicious. The owner/cook is very welcoming and helpful in suggestion portions. The price is unbeatable. Look forward to comingback and trying other things off the menu soon!

When I first walked in, I was little surprised this place is so highly rated. It's sorta a slightly mom and pop type setup. After chowing down though, I understood the rating. Definitely some of the better Ethiopian I've had in the area, and I've tried a few places. Reasonably priced and good portions. I recently had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I ended up getting food poisoning, which led me to uncontrollably vomit while driving home, resulting in a car accident. While it seems I'm in the minority here, as most of the reviews are quite positive, I found the food to be just mediocre, even without the added trauma of the food poisoning incident. Initially, I felt let down by my choice to eat there, and it quickly turned into severe regret. On a positive note, the staff were very nice, but unfortunately, I wouldn't be writing this review if it weren't for the food poisoning.
